One would expect a service call to entail troubleshooting and diagnosis, often followed by a need to order a part and then return for installation and resolution of the issue. However, this firm simply installs the first broken part, waits for you to call again and then advises you that even though is the same appliance that they just worked on, the cycle starts all over with a brand new, completely billable service call. It's hard to find a trustworthy, reliable and honest company to work with. Be assured that Heber Appliance is the opposite of every one of those characteristics. Avoid them as you would the plague.

Further they were barely any help at all to try to source new parts (did most of the legwork myself). Instead they stuck a heavy wrench tool between hinge where the door meets the oven body and applied body weight pressure against the door -- which they said has worked for other customers it did absolutely nothing at all to fix our issue except to make everything worse. Then they spent the next 15 minutes telling me to consider a new $3000+ unit.

I'll be right there, I said I didn't really need any help yet but thank you. - I went back there found a keyboard with a trackpad built into it up to the front and what seemed like another interruption, I asked the guy if this would fill my needs. - Turned out it wouldn't so I asked if there was another type of mouse with a track feature like a magic mouse. - he proceeded towards the keyboard area, no words were spoken yet - Thinking that we had a communication gap, I asked again if he knew of any mouse with a trackpad feature on it that didn't cost $89 like a magic mouse and he sort of made a noise that sounded like no - we continue to poke around in that area, unable to find an insignia or other keyboard and mouse that would mimic the magic types of Apple, so I acquiesced and asked if I could buy a magic mouse and keyboard. - he opened the locked cabinets, pulled out the items and handed them to me Anyway, it was in fact, timely and thorough customer service, but I'm not sure what it is these days with the kids they just don't talk, I want them to engage Better with the customer... This is understandable given the current labor shortage. However, the store itself has a few issues. Many basic items are not in stock. The floor is also very disorganized, with cardboard boxes and packaging all over the place, as well as merchandise falling over or on the floor. Products also aren't sorted in any seemingly logical way. Things in the same category are spread throughout the store and on shelves where they shouldn't belong. Basically, this store seems extremely poorly managed and noticeably understaffed.

She gave me Urgent appliance repair number. I called them in the morning they came out in the afternoon and had it fixed and running within 24 hours. Troy is knowledgeable and explained what the problem was. Troy makes your appliance his priority. Troy gave us a senior discount. That was a wonderful surprise. Great value for the money. ***Update!*** I was still having issues with my dryer drying…read moreall the way, even though it heats up now. So I texted Troy back and he got me on his schedule ASAP. He came out and checked everything and figured out that my vent was clogged from the dryer to my outside. So he spent two hours cleaning it out. And we could not believe the amount of lint that came out of that tube! It's no wonder my dryer overheated the first time. Troy went above and beyond to make sure air was getting through. Cleaning from both inside the house and outside the house. He even pulled out a couple of birds and a birds nest that had gotten in there. I'm assuming that's where our problem started. The culprits of the initial clog! But after a couple different problems and problem solving, Troy got it done!! He needs a raise after this one! And a good shower!

She didn't push any single item on me, but helped me see what was available, what I was looking for, what eventually wasn't suitable for me etc. In the space of about six hours I made a decision, went and got a loan at Mountain America and my new stove is ordered and awaiting shipping. If you think customer service is dead, go to Ferguson and experience it firsthand!
