Went to get the part and repaired it in no time. I would be great if they carried the universal part on the truck and carried a cordless vacuum for cleanup. TL;DR if you need your appliances repaired or looked at, give Lamar's Appliance Repair a call…read more I really appreciate that they were really easy to schedule time with and had a sense of urgency since we were dealing with a refrigerator repair. I realize this was lost revenue for Lamar's Appliance Repair, but I appreciate their honesty diagnosing the problem and being truthful that we were better off getting a new fridge instead of repairing it. Replacing the broken piece would have cost nearly as much as a new refrigerator, but that was also money they would not earn from us. I really appreciate that they looked up any possible warranty angle on the compressor as well. Like I said above, if you need an appliance service / repaired, give Lamar's Appliance Repair a try!

It has been 6 weeks and several calls and we were just told there was a 'proprietary' fuse the was blown. It took six weeks to find a fuse that blows???? And of course it will take a week or more to get it in -- there is one in Florida -- sound like a story??? Anyway we use a microwave a lot and are not happy with this service. So far Hutch's is sympathetic, but no more.

He was friendly and professional, didn't try to upsell anything. I opted to fix, but Austin didn't have the correct size of compressor. He made a call to a co- worker, Isaac, who had the correct and offered to drop it off. Thank you Isaac! Once we had the part, Austin installed and patiently waited sitting on the kitchen floor for it to be filled with coolant (I think that's what it was). Anyhoo, great experience and would not hesitate to use them again.

The problem was a broken latch which I already knew. They then quoted me an additional $262 for the repair. The price seemed high, but I wanted to get the issue resolved, so I agreed to move forward. Keep in mind the part was $18 and he was there for about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix the dishwasher, even after I was responsible for ordering the replacement part myself. When the repair still did not work, they agreed to only refund $80 of the $362, despite not resolving the issue. Instead, the only solution they offered was to install a brand-new dishwasher, which was not helpful. I am fine paying some money for their time and I was hoping for a fair solution. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the outcome and the lack of accountability when the repair was unsuccessful. I know there are more honest upfront guys out there who are not going to charge you a crazy amount when they can't fix the exact thing you paid them to do. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

It's now been almost four months and I still haven't heard anything from them. I ended up disputing the credit card charge and hiring another company to finish the repair. The lack of communication and accountability has been extremely frustrating. I would not recommend Dash Appliance Repair to anyone.
