We lost out entire $5k investment within one year after purchasing a Viking range from Ferguson Home in Medford. It arrived damaged - the oven door never shut properly and grew progressively worse over time. There were many other issues. Some were safety related like spontaneous fireballs when the oven fan would blow out the flame on either of the back burners while propane continued to spew out. So we could not sell it even as damaged in good conscience. When we tried to contact Ferguson to seek guidance in the very beginning they immediately ghosted us and did not return a single phone call or email. We later found out that Viking's alleged two-year warranty does not apply if you live in a rural area so that was that and we eventually just had it hauled to the dump. Ferguson could have helped us but chose not to. My recommendation is to choose anyone but them. read more

Horrible customer service by the store manager. Very disorganized and poor communication for months during the build of our home. Bait and switch sales approached. Promised Pro pricing in the beginning but at purchase time all MSR and no discount. Buyer beware! Took our order to a competitor at the last minute. Shame on u Ferguson. read more

Really nice showroom with upscale items to see in person, especially bathtubs and toilets and vanities. Lots of catalogs to look through in store as well. Camren was so helpful and super kind. They even had homemade cookies which gave my kids motivation to behave in the store! Awesome place. read more

We remodeled our kitchen beginning in October of 2018. It took us 3 months from start to finish. Throughout the process, I have to say that out of all the contractors we dealt with (flooring, cabinets, other appliance stores, etc.) Ferguson was ALWAYS the most pleasant and on top of things. It was nice to be able to rely on at least one aspect of the whole process. We had Yasmin as our sales representative and she was THE BEST. Please give her a raise. Seriously. Her guidance and knowledge was invaluable for navigating through the pitfalls of finding the perfect sinks, plumbing hardware, lighting, and my favorite piece...the Thermador range (which I love!). Ferguson's has a beautiful showroom and they carry a good selection of high-end kitchen appliances including Viking, Wolf, etc. That was the good news. The bad news: This is one of the most disorganized businesses from which I've purchased merchandise. In addition, an understanding of good customer service is missing. In early December my husband and I bought a $6,000 Viking range from them. It was received in their warehouse by December 11, 2015. When we paid for it, I asked if it could be installed by Christmas. The MAJOR pushback started immediately: "We've had turnover with our installer, don't know what I can do, we're understaffed, there's only me and one other person manning this whole showroom " We didn't hear from our salesman for a week ... two weeks. We called and left voicemails asking for an update. No response. Christmas came and went. The week after Christmas, I called again, left a voicemail, got no response. I called the back office and spoke with a man who was CLEARLY still on Christmas vacation. He was extremely sloppy in both his thinking and his communication. I began to get mad. He said he'd research my order and try to find out what was going on. He assured me I would get a call later that day. I did. From Danielle, who is one of the two people "manning the showroom". She said the other person, David Bryant, was still on holiday and wouldn't be back untill the following week. She could not get into his computer to determine what he did with our order. She gave the same litany of excuses we heard from David weeks earlier about why they could not get our new range installed in a timely and efficient manner. Apparently Ferguson's does not have a centralized automated CRM system that includes orders; thus, there is no real communication between those who are trying to provide customer service. There was no alternative but to wait ... and wait ... and wait. On January 3, 2016, I got a call from David. He was very excited and said a rare and unexpected opening had occurred with their installer for Wednesday afternoon, January 5. David said he could have our new stove delivered sometime Wednesday morning. He said the installer would call that day (Monday, January 3) to let us know when he could be at our house. We did not receive a call from the installer. (As it turned out David's story was apparently bogus because he did not call the installer until the morning of Wednesday, January 5 to schedule the installation.) I was awakened at 7:50AM by the doorbell. Standing on our front porch was a very nice deliveryman who said he had a stove to deliver from Ferguson's. He seemed surprised that we didn't know he'd be delivering it before 8AM. How could we? David did not communicate that. I called David to let him know we had the stove but that we had not heard from the installer the afternoon before as he had said we would. For the FIRST time, David actually answered his direct line and I did not need to leave a voice mail. I asked David for the installer's name and phone number. He seemed flustered, but gave me the name of Todd Giger. He didn't give me a cell phone number saying he only communicated with him by email. Odd, in today's world ... In very short order I got a call from Todd, who is an excellent communicator: Clear, to-the-point, factual, organized. He said he'd just gotten a call from Ferguson's asking him to install our range that afternoon and that he'd be there between 2PM and 4PM. Todd called twice during his day to give us an update on his actual arrival time. Todd and his co-worker arrived when they promised. They were obviously expert at installing Viking ranges. They went right to work only to discover there was no power cord and one burner cap was missing. This is now January 6, 2016. Todd used the power cord from our outgoing range so the stove was installed. We have been on the phone with no less than FOUR people this morning trying to get the missing parts. They wanted us to wait another 5 to 7 days. My husband explained they needed to get the missing parts for us today. He is driving over there to pick them up. Can you BELIEVE this???? It gets better, folks. Fast forward to June, 2016: Our $6,000 Viking stove stopped working. Well, to be precise the oven stopped working THREE WEEKS AGO. It's a faulty motherboard. Apparently, even though this is a common occurrence, no one keeps an inventory of motherboards. I am very disappointed in Ferguson's and with Viking. More to follow ... read more

Horrible service. Parts department is an absolute embarrassment. Very short, very rude. Nobody wants to help you. Told me to go to the back offices to "find" someone to help check out. ended up just placing all my stuff on counter and walking out it was so bad. If I were you I would never give this place your money. Shop at supplyhouse.com for all your plumbing parts. That was the last time I go to fergusons in Medford. Awful. read more

We tried to order several appliances and lighting for our house. We visited their showroom, talked to the employees/owners(?), and picked out a few things we liked. The owner was going to look into availability and estimated shipping time for us and give us a call when he found out more. We never got that call. After calling them back several times with no answer, leaving messages and never getting a call back, we decided to actually go into the store. Turns out the owner lost our information we already went over and referred us to order from their partner website, and the items would be shipped to them. So we had to do the leg work for them basically. No problem, we picked out a few things and ordered them to the store, while we were in the showroom. The owner said he would contact us as soon as they shipped and give an estimate on when they would arrive. Never got that call. Two weeks passed and we called several times with no answer again. We always left a message and got no call back. Finally, three weeks later we went back to the store and our item was there. They offer a lot of good stuff, and the showroom is fantastic, but their customer service is garbage. So bad in fact, we decided to order all our kitchen appliances (23,000 dollars worth), bathroom appliances (14,000 dollars worth) and lighting (8,500 dollars worth) from another company. We spent a lot of money to upgrade our cabin. It amazes me how a business can survive when they pass up so many good opportunities and offer such bad customer service. I had much the same experience as the other woman with the stove but mine was with a faucet. I had previously bought a large sink there from the woman on the floor and she was wonderful but then I bought a faucet from David. Never came when it was supposed to, he never returned my calls and we went more than a month without a running faucet in our master bath, waiting for it to arrive. When I finally did get him (he never answers his phone) I told him to cancel the order and just refund my money. He agreed. And then the wait began for him to return my money back to my bank account. And I waited, more than a week later I called him and no response. I finally called the manager, Dustin and he was professional and apologized and get my money returned to me. I have a lot more items to buy but won't buy them there. Sorry. Note: I gave 2 stars because the woman was great to deal with. read more
