The day before I should have received my items, I got an email to verify my identity as the billing and shipping address were different. We purchased some bathroom fixtures from Gordana Smileska Whitley at the Fort Lauderdale Ferguson in 2019, and she was very helpful. In 2025, I needed replacement aerators for two of the faucets, so I reached out to Gordana to ask how I could purchase them. She ordered the replacement parts and had them sent directly to us at no cost within a few days. I'm surprised she even remembered us from 6 years ago, but the level of service was amazing. This store has high end fixtures, appliances and bathroom items. I scheduled and appointment and knew what I was looking for. They didn't have the induction range I wanted to see on display. They did however have the exact model of washer & dryer that I was looking for. I was told by the sales person that she had something to attend to and that I should email her about my purchase. Then she sat at her desk. I took a few pictures for Yelp and left. I bought the exact same appliances online some where else the same day. If I'm not going to get in person service then why go here. I really screwed up! I mean totally, big time, turning my cooking range into what looked like a burnt up crematory. I was broiling a rack of lamb in a Jenn-Air with the oven door slightly and the range top downdraft on high. Then I had to leave it for a moment to run to the bathroom. The details of that I will spare you; which should make you happy. But while in the bathroom the fat drippings from my Colorado (so much better than that New Zealand mutton crap the market in most stores) caught fire. It really wouldn't have been any big deal except the topside downdraft sucked the flames up over the control panel of my range frying and charring the plastic to a super black crispy. Staff wonderful and knowledgeable about all products. We have updated our induction stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer, sink, faucets and disposal over the past 7 years. Latest was awesome built-in Thermador fridge, fabulous Kohler porcelain sink, super quiet disposal, new faucet and beverage faucet for filtered water. Smooth from purchase to install. I LOVE my new sink and built in fridge, makes a huge difference in our kitchen. Bought a Thermador fridge with freezer below. Was worried about storage since we were going smaller, cubic feet wise. I'm not sure at which point selling toilets for a living became such a glamorous occupation that the people at Ferguson decided it was ok to act pretentious and condescending towards their customers. Also if you are looking for guidance go somewhere else, these people have no desire to actually guide you. So far they have messed up my toilets, my bathroom faucets and my kitchen sink. Not sure what's next. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. And don't bother leaving voice messages because no one ever calls you back. Dealing with Ferguson has been a horrendous experience. I purchased a subzero refrigerator a GE monogram microwave and a wolf cooktop. I gave them a deposit for this very expensive order. And they sent someone who advised me that my cooktop could definitely be replaced with the new Wolf cooktop. At that time they said that the new subzero would not fit in my cabinet. I contacted subzero and they said it would fit. Again I spoke with Ferguson and then they said it would fit. After waiting many months today the cooktop arrived and did not fit. The two installers were very rude and when they took it out and put my old one back they damaged my pull out cabinet when they called to speak with the boss they spoke in Spanish so I couldn't understand them. Then they just walked out of my home I tried to contact Philipe at the Boca store he did not get back to me sent an email that he was out and I contacted customer service twice they said they had to call the store and they never got back to me. When I replied no I only needed 2 items she hastily walked away. I then went searching for to request assistance with purchasing a hydrotherapy tub she snottily said we don't have it in our showroom go look at the website and ignored me. My wife and I had a delightful shopping experience at Ferguson's. We had to wait a while to get a representative to help but once we got started, Rachel Malove was wonderful! Rachel has achieved that magical balance of helpfulness, patience and knowledge that is uniquely held by the best members of a sales staff. Plus she has a thorough knowledge of the store's merchandise...not only what's on the floor but the hidden infrastructure you need to make a bathroom remodeling work. (For example, Rachel knew about the mixing valves we needed in the wall behind our shower faucets). If you can slow down and wait for one of Ferguson's staff to be available, you can have an exceptional experience there. And if you can arrange for Rachel to help you, I think you'll be amazed and what you'll find there. read more

Given Ferguson's is within a couple of miles of our temporary condo, we use them as a showroom. Even if we don't find the item, we can checkout the manufacturer's quality. A couple of visits ago we spotted a few items we liked and asked an employee to put some orders together for us. He suggested we use the web site, I responded their website was garbage, filtered searches don't work and it's totally hit an miss trying to find specific items. He wasn't budging. we put an order in for around $7,000. So far we've had 2 of the 5 orders placed on hold and had to call them (certainly not a credit problem, no idea why they called, released quickly), we've received 2 items we didn't order but paid for. A refund was approved but we haven't received the return label or the refund and another item was sent to the wrong address. Here's my take. Fort Lauderdale has no decent decorative hardware stores on the east side. The one that's been around for ages isn't good dealing with retail traffic and has a limited number of old tired brands. There's decent stores out west but small and not convenient for us. Boca's better, Stuart more so. We decided to go with Amazon. So far ok but it's clear they're not their normal self when it comes to decorative hardware. Note to Build: Your store is a very pleasant environment. It's lovely to walk around for hours and never get the slightest bit of help. If your focus is on the Trade, then go back to the days where you informed us it's Trade only, please leave, go hire a decorator. Your website is also a disaster. Placing the mouse in the top half of the page covers more than half the page with a drop-down, search is utterly useless as many items don't get picked up (we go to the manufacturers site and get specific part numbers, then back to Build, enter the number, and viola, the product magically appears, we don't need a constant reminder about Covid and all your other excuses covering a large part of the page, we don't need the cookie nonsense, we don't want to be on your mailing list and we don't want to chat. We waive all that garbage away to have the pleasure of dealing with a useless search engine. You folks need higher standards of acceptable business methods. We don't need you, you need us. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would. Awful customer service. I had to chase them down just to place an order and then got the run around until I finally canceled the one remaining item on my order that never came. I was able to place the order for a similar item from Fuse and get it the actual appliance in my possession before Ferguson could even give me a refund. I was promised daily to get a call to process the refund and never got one. I kept calling and emailing. Finally we asked for a manager and the refund was processed that day. I will NEVER use them again nor will I ever recommend them. I bought a sub zero fridge from them 1.5 years ago and bought a number of Thermidor appliances this go around. Visited the store on Federal Hwy to buy 3 piece faucets for three bathrooms so explained exactly what I needed including the Axor brand and finish. However, the two folks I spoke with continued their conversation and made no attempt to assist me, even though I wandered for roughly ten minutes trying to find what I wanted. Buyer beware! Purchased a Delta shower system for $850. System wasn't available at my local Fort Lauderdale store or nearby warehouse. System was delivered to my house from the Orlando Ferguson warehouse. Two day after system was delivered to my house, an experienced professional licenses plumber attempted to install the system. Plumber determined water cartridge was faulty; water wouldn't turn off. Plumber suggested I exchange cartridge at local Fort Lauderdale Ferguson or drive to nearby warehouse. He would return later in day to complete installation. I was pleased supply portion of local store had part. I was shocked and dismayed that stored expected me to pay for the replacement cartridge. I showed the counter staff my receipt and they verified in their system I recently purchased item. Counter staff made snide comment that to receive replacement cartridge under warranty (at no charge), I'd need to call Delta and likely be on phone with them for one hour. Counter man said they couldn't stay in business if they replaced the defective cartridge. I walked to attached showroom and found salesman who sold me system. I explained situation. The salesman and another man at desk said they never heard of a faulty cartridge being sent with a new kit. They then said my plumber must have installed it incorrectly and I would need to go through Delta to get cartridge replaced. I called the customer service 800 number on my receipt from Fergusons'. The representative looked up my order and stated I would need to go through Delta for a replacement cartridge. She said they could help submit the claim with Delta but that I would need to wait for Delta to send me the replacement cartridge. I said I didn't want to continue to communicate or do business with Ferguson. That I was sickened by their lack of customer service. I wonder how long other businesses would stay in business with this type of service. I next called Delta who immediately said they would mail me a new cartridge but that it will be 4-8 business days before I receive it. As the Delta representative was entering my replacement cartridge order, she said one is already being sent to me. The only thing I can figure is the representative at Ferguson had the cartridge sent to me even though I said I didn't want them to. I thought that purchasing our shower system from a local large store such as Ferguson meant that I would get good customer service and that if I had problems with the system, the local store would immediately be able to address the issue(s). Instead, I had to make serval calls about this issue, was insulted, need to wait to have shower system installed and my plumber needs to make an extra trip on yet another day next week to complete installation. Don't believe the typical hype that "Ferguson is so expensive." It's really not. Just because you're not finding the typical inexpensive Home Depot/Lowe's products does not mean that Ferguson is so out of reach financially. Are they more expensive than Home Depot and Lowe's? Not always. Sure, most of the things in here are priced higher (in some cases, significantly) than your familiar home store chain, but honestly there is something here for virtually every budget. This place is great because there is such a large span of product offering here. For example, you can find yourself an inexpensive Delta faucet, or you can pick up a gorgeous Dornbracht faucet. The range is there, so it's just up to you to find where it fits you. And most of that range is on display for you to see and feel the quality and look of what you want before you buy it (or maybe there is something slightly better that you didn't even know about before). The people here are very helpful, although I wish there were more of them, because this place can get busy enough on the weekends to where you'll be waiting a while just to be able to buy something. read more

I initially had an issue with this company after ordering, about a price on some fixtures that were waaaay cheaper directly from the manufacturer via amazon. (We're talking 40%~ cheaper).... and had previously left a negative yelp review for this company. Maybe it was me, maybe it was the salesperson I was with, but in the end the store manager cristin went above and beyond to appease me. My suggestion is that if you know what brand of hardware you want in your bathroom, do a little price research on it first. If ferguson is somewhere around the prices you can find in other stores, just go with ferguson as they will help you put together everything that you need for your project. read more

We made an appointment and showed up on time, then were made to wait for 10 minutes. After waiting, the receptionist mentioned that they didn't "allow" children in the showroom. I was carrying my quiet 2 year old at the time. I then mentioned that if that were the case, we would not seek out their services, since our time is limited. The staff member walked out and said it was fine that our child was with us and we proceeded to look at all the appliances for our remodel. During which time, she scoffed at the fixtures I couldn't decide on, mentioning that they didn't match what I previously chose and dismissed and re-directed relevant questions. I came in with an open mind and was more than willing to listen to advice, and instead left blindsided and angry. The entire staff was arrogant and dismissive. We have bought several appliances and other products at the Fort Lauderdale store in the last few years. The most recent one was this week. It is a pleasure to be in the store; it feels like you are in a "quality"/elegant place. The showroom is really impressive, very well organized and it is easy to find what you are looking for. There is a receptionist who arranges for a salesperson to work with/advise you. You can also arrange for appointments by phone in advance. The range of manufacturers of the produc tyou are looking fo covers the whole range of qualities and prices; from the standard to the top of the line. We purchased an oven and had the choice of Whirlpool to Wolf and Viking. it is the same for other products/appliances too. The service is excellent in all respects; from knowledge of the salesperson of the products to the way you are being treated and accommodated. There is no pressure to buy at all (i.e. like at a car dealership). Interestingly, even though you feel that you are in a high end/expensive store, price comparisons we made revealed very competitive pricing. We had one issue related to our most recent purchase. We called corporate headquarters; they said that an area manager or branch manager would call the next day. The branch manager called the next morning. We had a pleasant conversation (about 10 minutes) and the issue was resolved to my full satisfaction. I didn't even have to ask for the remedy I thought was appropriate, it was offered by the manager. I highly recommend the store and I will continue to be a loyal customer. One thing you will find is knowledgeable sales people who truly understand what customer service really means. I can't tell you they have the lowest prices in the area because I do not know. Even if they don't, they are so closely competitive with the best array of whatever you need from toilets and sinks to lighting. I had no idea there could be so many choices.
