She's empathetic, accessible, and helpful as well as being a great doctor. While the building in which she practices isn't particularly new or shiny, and the nurses there have sometimes varied in quality, her obvious skill and happy bedside manner more than make up for it. We've never had a misdiagnosis from her, and I suspect one reason is because she takes the time to sit and listen to the history of a particular complaint rather than deciding on a diagnosis apriori. I've also appreciated how quick she is to respond when I've called in for her advice. This has saved us a trip to the doctor, as well as sent us to the ER when it was necessary. We love Dr. D!

She was very thorough when going through my records from my old doctor and explaining the blood work and tests that she wanted to do to complete my new file at her office. He has many years of experience with children, teenagers, and adults (ranging from individual therapy to couples' therapy to family therapy). He stays up-to-date with the latest therapeutic concepts by attending to his own ongoing professional development. He has even published papers in peer-reviewed journals in his areas of expertise. I have found Mr. Clarke to be a wonderful help and resource for me in times of chaos. He's the best therapist I have ever worked with. Mr. Clarke is also not a psychiatrist, as Yelp asserts. He is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago. This simply means that he is unable to provide prescription medication therapy. However, he has many psychiatrist contacts who can fulfill the medical role while he provides excellent talk therapy sessions.
