Dr. Cole she is pretty fantastic. She's the sort of doctor you wouldn't mind having coffee with if that didn't sound weird and was probably unethical. I've been seeing her for quite a few years she always goes out of her way to answer all my questions. And sometimes I have weird ones. But she never makes me feel weird. She's helped me in ways other doctors haven't been able to. And she has a great sense of humor. Whether a gynecologist is delivering bad news or a baby, I think that's a pretty important thing to have. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough. Yes, you might have to wait in your exam room for a little longer than you'd like. But you can take up time asking questions, too. She isn't going to hustle you like some doctors do. Tip: if you're ten minutes late to an appointment, you need to reschedule. Other people matter, too. So be on time!

HHA is a good practice, and I think they do an overall great job. One thing I really like is that their records are computerized and when I walk out, I have a printed order I can read instead of a hand-written order that I can't make sense of. The nurses are pleasant and do a great job listening as you explain why you're there. Even the wait isn't usually bad - my last doctor you could wait 1-1.5 hours after your appointment time to see the doctor - here, it's usually less than 15 minutes if they are running behind. My only real issue has been the office staff. The response is short sometimes and follow-through can be a little slow if you're trying to get ahold of your doctor by phone. It's not a big deal, but it can be really inconvenient. Net result, I highly recommend the practice and encourage you to check them out.

He says just enough, maybe the tiniest bit more, to explain what's going on, and that's that. You're in and out pretty quickly, which is always nice when visiting the doctor. The ladies that work the front desk here need a little bit of polish. They're friendly enough, but their customer service skills need help. I sat for about 10 minutes after signing in before I was asked for my credit card and given the necessary paperwork I needed to complete. I know, 10 minutes isn't a long time, but I was the first one in the door and expected to be taken care of, well, right away. But once the computers were on and booted up, coffee poured and sipped, pencils sharpened, etc, I was taken care of. Not a big deal. Dr. Fenton is great, I was still in and out in about an hour and the office is just a few miles from our house. I'll be back.

Ms. Houser would benefit from training in continuity of care. My primary doctor and I had a treatment plan that we had been executing for four years. Ms. Houser wanted to change that without having spoken to me. That is the opposite of continuity of care. Ms. Houser would also benefit from re-training as a medical care provider. In my brief interaction with her, she ruined the reputation of the family practice I had been attending for more than 15 years. It is unfortunate that my primary doctor retired. Even though Ms. Houser works in the same office, she did not review the previous doctor's lengthy history of managing my mental health condition. Seek medical help from another professional. Ms. Houser does not have the empathy to be in medicine.
