Wow! This place was incredible!…read more My son and I were in town to visit Graceland and we wanted a nice, little place to grab breakfast before going there. So I Yelped places and found Eggxactly just down the street. I was a little concerned when Google Maps took us into a residential area, but no worries: Eggxactly Breakfast and Deli is located in a former house that has been wonderfully remodeled into a quaint, cute breakfast joint! Go early as there is not a lot of sitting room inside. Having said that, the service was great and the food was AMAZING!! I ordered the Smoked Turkey Omlett Special and found it extraordinary! Whether you're here to see the King or just passing through south Memphis, definitely give this place a try! Smoked turkey omlett special!!

I was excited to try new menu items. We were seated pretty quickly. You have to place your order at the counter and then they will bring your food to the table. Of course, I started with the eggs. Can't go to a place called Eggxactly without having eggs, right? I see why they have that name. I must say that the eggs were super delicious. It was a part of the Breakfast Platter. It came along with 2 strips of bacon, smoked sausage, 1 pork or turkey sausage links. They were all good. I also added grits. My food was a hit. The only thing that I would say need a little work are they banana froster pancakes. They were a little on the dry side and the sauce that comes with it is pretty runny. The toppings were not cohesive as well if that makes sense. It seems like it was thrown together versus being one cohesive dish. The price point is decent. You get bang for your buck. I am glad that this establishment is in this community and I look forward to going back trying more menu items!

The atmosphere and decor of this coffee shop are both inviting and antique bringing feelings of the historic times and souls once living in the area. The "team"working here were both professional, kind and friendly. When eating in your entree is hand delivered with a smile in a timely manner. I even got a brief visit from the supervisor/possible owner asking if I needed anything and how everything was going. When I replied with a positive experience he said he will pass on the word to the team. I liked that he gave credit to everyone/team. I will definitely return when in town for business and recommend to my colleagues.

Hustle & Dough in Memphis is such a fun little gem to stumble across. The whole space feels cozy…read moreand inviting, but also a step above your usual coffee-and-pastry spot. The aesthetic is really well done. It's warm, modern, and just a place you actually want to hang out in for a while. The staff were great and super helpful, especially when it came to working around a few syrups they were out of. They offered substitutions without any fuss, and it honestly worked out for the better. All of their syrups are made in-house, and you can really taste the difference! They're fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. We ordered a Bourbon Mocha and a Carrot Cake Latte (which was absolutely to die for), and decided to keep breakfast on the lighter side with a slice of sourdough and two cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls, though, are not your typical style. Instead of the usual big, fluffy roll, they spiral the dough tightly and bake it that way. The result is this super fun, peel-apart situation where you're unraveling layer after layer. It feels like there are eight layers of cinnamon-sugar goodness to work through! Overall, Hustle & Dough has great coffee, thoughtful house-made syrups, unique pastries, and a really welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I'd go back to next time I'm in Memphis.

The owner and the servers are very friendly and strive to exceed customers' expectations, but the staff seems a little undisciplined at times. When we stopped by for breakfast about 815am on our last day visiting Memphis, there was a growing line of customers standing patiently outside while the staff was getting the restaurant up and running behind schedule. We waited outside for another ten or fifteen minutes before the hostess invited us inside and sat us right away. The owner stopped by after we had received our meals to check in to make sure we had everything we needed and apologized for the delay in opening, which was a nice gesture. She also explained a bit how the restaurant's menu was comprised of dishes she'd developed over the years while cooking for her children as they grew up. The menu includes plenty of tasty, filling breakfast and brunch staples, both savory -- a variety of omelettes, benedicts, bowls, and breakfast sandwiches -- and sweet -- several innovative pancake and french toast options. I had the house-specialty Salmon Cakes platter, consisting of two salmon croquettes with homemade honey mustard glaze served alongside two eggs, grits or potatoes, and toast, which was excellent. My dining companion had the Garden Omelette, filled with tomatoes, broccoli, caramelized onions, and mushrooms, which she really enjoyed as well. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area! PRO TIP #1: The Garden Brunch Cafe is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am til 230pm. PRO TIP #2: The Garden Brunch Cafe doesn't have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of on-street parking on South Main Street.
