The accompanying photo (if I manage to upload it!) does not do any justice to the excellent food that was presented to me. Maybe if I'd added all of those beautifully HOT and soft/crisp chips to my plate it would have looked better. However, I didn't want them to get in the way of my being able to tackle the HOT and so tasty skewered chicken, Italian sausage, peppers and onions and the delicious light salad with drizzled dressing, and so I devoured them from their side plate. Did I enjoy it? Oh, yes, I really did!

We came in so near to closing that I felt bad, but the staff welcomed us warmly and we were not rushed in the slightest. Not only did we each order mains, but an appetizer, wine, they graciously brought my younger sons ice cream from the kid menu (well after closing time), and when we were trying to leave they brought espressos with biscotti and insisted we stay. It was noisy and crowded but we had, luckily, made a reservation a few hours earlier and got seated right away. We shared the vegan bruschetta appetizer which was delicious and quite filling. I had the gnocchi al forno for my main which was piping hot and had to sit awhile before I could dig into it. But it was worth the wait and I ate every last bit. I would have licked the plate had I not drawn the ire of everyone else in the restaurant. A vegan dessert would have hit the spot but we were ok skipping it as we were both quite full. Will definitely stop back the next time we're in the area. Great service & lovely food, you can't go wrong.
