Sean, Jamie, Jennifer, Carlos, and the entire team at Fenceworks have been a pleasure to work with over the last 20 years. They recently came out to replace 190 linear feet of 5' high four-board fencing with wire mesh screen that was damaged by falling trees and storms. Once again they did a great job at a fair price. read more

We had Fenceworks install a custom cedar privacy fence with a decorative lattice top, and the whole experience was great. Sean was fantastic during the consultation - super patient and answered all our questions without making us feel rushed (and I had a lot of questions). The installation crew was on time, professional, and left our yard clean. The fence looks amazing, and we even added a few changes last minute which they accommodated. We will be happy to work with Fenceworks again in the future. read more

Outstanding team and such a pleasure with which to work. We had numerous challenges with the process from our township and the team at Fenceworks was outstanding, kind, patient, and creative. We were able to get a wonderful fence which we love and the installation was outstanding and professional. read more

We have a two year old fence that is rotting out due to improper installation. Fenceworks came out, said they put it in wrong but refuse to fix it. Take a look at these fences put in at the same time. read more

Fenceworks - Fence on left as put in right but fence work put this fence in wrong, too close to the ground ruining the wood causing this eyesore - Fences & Gates Near Me - Spring City, Pennsylvania

We are in the currently very frustrating and very delayed process of getting our chain link fence replaced. Fenceworks was recommended by our general contractor who we think very highly of and so, unfortunately, we didn't due a thorough check of other customer reviews. We got a prompt estimate and, although there were a few delays on our part, it is lack of communication and their failure to return any phone calls that really concerns us. Now we are seeing reviews that make us question the quality of work we will actually get done. We have a start date of July 2nd so I will definitely post an update complete with before and after pictures. That is assuming the workers show up on the 2nd. Currently very disappointed with this company but am hopeful that they come out and do the work they promised. Stay tuned!!! UPDATE; A disaster! All work done by sub-contractors. Have posted a few pictures to show "finished project". Very condescending emails from the scheduler when we detailed problems with work The manager is scheduled to come out tomorrow and address issues but we are SO sorry we ever got involved with this company. Absolutely no respect for the customer or their hard-earned Sean, the manager, showed up on Monday, as promised. He was very cordial and promised to correct all issues ASAP. We are hoping to hear from him today and finally have a functional fence very soon! read more

When I first called to make the appointment, I was told that one of their estimators was just in an accident, and I can't remember what Fenceworks said about the other estimator, but I was told there may be some delay getting an appointment, but they would have the estimator call me. About 4 business days later I called Steve Finelli, the owner of the company, to see if I could get something on the calendar. Steve was very helpful and had Jason call me to schedule a day. The appointment was scheduled with Jim for today at 9:00. At 9:30 I called Jason to get the ETA for Jim's arrival, and he said, "Didn't anyone call you?" I said, "no." Jason told me that Jim's honeymoon had be unexpectedly extended and he wasn't available today. He was pleasant about it, and apologized, and said this wasn't the kind of business FenceWorks does (but it is the business they are doing, right?!). He asked when we could reschedule, so I had to tell him that I wasn't interested in rescheduling. I took today off from work to get this done, and I'm not going to invest another day in a company who has demonstrated a very poor and inconsistent approach to customer service. It's a shame because they have the fence product we need. Maybe it's a small business, and I like supporting small businesses, but when did they learn that Jim wouldn't be in the office today to keep his appointments? How many other people did Jim have appointments with. Totally disappointed. read more

Charged a lot of money and didn't do the job properly. The top of the fencepost kept coming off because it's supposed to be nail down and the company never did it. Also other sections of the fence to came unhooked. When I called several times they never return my phone call. read more

This is probably the WORST managed fence company in the northern hemisphere. After an extensive wait we see that the estimate from 7 months ago was severely off. The paperwork looked like a child's drawling next to a list of the wrong material that had to be removed after being unnecessary installed through poison ivy. I was told the right material for half of the job was on its way in the early morning, but nothing arrived until the clueless manager showed up at the end of the day. The workers sat in the truck vaping and complaining about not leaving while the foreman finished last minute tasks. Very unprofessional. read more

Great local company, the ladies in the office called with updates and scheduling. Field mechanics did a super job on the install, clean and efficient. Took extra time to address an un expected fence post issue sent the guys right back sent over pics of repair, that's getting the job done. Big thanks to the crew keeping our animals safe and contained. read more

Very disappointed with the service and followup I received from Fenceworks. They came very highly recommended by my contractor but it has been nothing but issues with them with regards to the install (gate was installed backwards and one side of the fence was not where I wanted it because they told be they couldn't do it due to length of fence pieces but I subsequently found it could have been what i originally wanted). Also once of the gates did not work properly and it took months to get them out to resolve it and another lock never functioned right and it still is not fixed and fence was installed over 18 months ago - still waiting for them to come in replace the latch that they took off last summer. Also when I had a tree branch fall on one of the gates at Christmas they wanted to charge me $250 (minimum 2 hours even though would only take 10 minutes) to install a gate which costs $200 to replace! And when I explained that they needed to come to my home anyway to install the latch which they had never replaced anyway they said that reinstalling the gate would take two men to do. I said just send me the gate and I will do it myself and it won't take two people to do it. Wouldn't recommend working with them although they had the product we wanted it wasn't worth the hassle. read more

Would not use them again. Customer service not good nor workmanship. When we finally had the fence installed, they tried to get away with a split post that they stapled together which we said NO to. Our job might have been small for them, less than $10k but it was big for us and we expected it to be right. Gates don't close properly and the wire on the fence (pool requirement) came off on one of our sides. I called at least 4 times and was told each time that i would be put on the list for a service call. I finally called the Owner and asked that he call me as I was an unhappy customer but never heard from him either. We now have to hire a handy man to finish what FENCEWORKS won't. read more

We are building a horse farm and contacted Fenceworks for estimate (Starting with 1500+_ feet of pasture fencing, 400 feet interior fencing, potential of another 10 acres to be fenced at another time). I scheduled several appointments with different contractors. So when JIm didn't show up I contacted the office to make sure I wasn't incorrect about the appointment. I was told that I was scheduled and the young lady at the office gave me Jim's cell phone and suggested I contact him. (First - Not my responsibility to contact him, its yours, Second - he's an hour late, doesn't that raise a red flag?) Upon reaching Jim, of course, Jim has no record of our appointment (even though he and I set it the prior week which he must have told main office since they said it was on their calendar) but again Jim has no record of our appointment. Mistakes happen so I told Jim that we would be home all day with various appointments if he wanted to stop by later. I was told that he already had appointments for the afternoon on the Main Line and, gee, that's an hour and a half away. Professional - Not in my Opinion! Since I voice my opinion with my wallet, Fenceworks gets $0, Their competitor however will receive $16,529. Impression I get, bunch of yahoo's with pick axes and shovels. At least that's the way they're represented. read more

My husband and I used Fenceworks for our fence. While our fence was only a 10k project - and probably small peanuts in comparison with some of the business they do - it was a major investment for us, and we expected to be treated professionally. Our first issue was that there was a verbal agreement between my husband and the salesman about the payment plan for the remaining 5k we owed on the fence. I realize this was an error on my husband's part as well as the salesman's that it was never put in writing. So they ended up charging us 2k when we were only prepared to pay 1k (as this was the agreement, 1k a month). We come to find out the salesman we worked with was no longer there and left no record of this agreement. After countless emails back and forth with the other salesmen and owner, we finally came to an agreement that 1k would be charged to our card on the 15th of every month. The owner confirmed this agreement. To our dismay, the new salesman to our account charged our card on the 6th of the month, despite having been emailed the new payment agreement. When called out on this error, he talked in circles about why he charged the 6th, and completely ignored the fact that he agreed to the previously established payment terms. They also refused to reimburse us for the overdraft charges. They have yet to admit to any error made on their part. We had to cancel our card and now send checks because they clearly don't honor their word. I would not recommend using this company simply because they do not live up to their end of agreements, even when confirmed by the owner. They charged our card twice without authorization for the amount they saw fit, not the amount agreed to. read more
