If I could give zero stars I would. This company is the most disorganized place I've ever seen. The Forman can't read and yells at everyone, while the other doesn't do anything at all. I literally saw the old Forman (mark) sit on the ground for half the day. The employees who work there are just as bad. WE had a purchase of about $1400 worth of fencing via phone. Went to pay and had problems. We are a non-profit and Comcast Business was helping us install split rail fencing. They were going to pay $600 towards the total cost if we paid the rest. This split pay option was discussed and agreed to by an employee several days in advance of our delivery. When we arrived to pay all but $600, the manager and then the owner said we must pay all in advance of delivery. When queried about the verbal agreement with his employee, he said she had no authority to do that. When we asked what alternatives existed, he cursed me out and said that he did not need our ####ING business. read more

The WORST!!!! The fence they put in was the one I chose and looked nice but the gates were horrible and their customer service AFTER I paid my bill was terrible even though they had promised to fix the problem. They even hung up on me!!! I would avoid Fence City at all costs. I am researching smaller more personalized fence companies for my new house. The quotes are not any more money than Fence City. I assumed b/c Fence City would be cheaper b/c they are big but the prices are comparable. Just thought I should put a warning out there!! read more

I'd use again. I didn't have them install my fence, so no comment on that service. I did purchase sections and gates for a wooden fence, and their price beat everyone. The only thing I had to do was drive from Maryland to pick it up. Sure that's a pain, but the price was worth it. read more

I don't often do reviews, but this is the second time I have used Fence City and I was more than satisfied both times! Previously I had a post and rail fence installed. It was several years ago but it was installed beautifully and still looked great when I moved. When we needed a fence at our new home for our dogs, I immediately called Fence City. This time, I had an aluminum fence installed. The crew came on time and I felt completely comfortable leaving them to go to work. When I arrived home, I had a beautiful new fence and the whole area was cleaned up. I would highly recommend this company! read more

I have been telling everyone about the exceptional service I received from this outfit. The fence that was installed looks AMAZING! Not only does the fence look great, the service was impeccable! The crew actually cleared some large items from the fenced area, before installing the fence, because they knew it wouldn't fit through the gate, once the fence was installed. I had to run a few errands, and came home to find a whole new fenced area, complete with gates, in far less time than was estimated for the project! The crew had a smile on their face the whole time! From start to finish, five-stars. Fence City installed a beautiful, sturdy, and well built fence for us. I see these other reviews rating Fence City one-star, we couldn't have had a better experience. The sales consultant was friendly and professional, he came to our house, asked what the primary reason for installing a new fence was and provided suggestions, options and guidance. The day of the install was freezing in February and the guys were awesome. They explained exactly what they'd be doing, strung up the back-yard to provide a line and asked that we sign-off on the plan. After two full days of installation, we basically had a new, enclosed yard. The fence is exactly what we hoped it would be. Highly recommend. read more

The fence that was installed is the poorest quality wood privacy fence I have ever seen. The fence that was replaced was better quality than the one they installed. The wooden pickets must of been from the ends of the trees. The pickets were not even nailed in securely to the rails. Come 5:00 pm, quitting time. Did not even finish the job properly or clean up the mess. Will never use this company again. I suggest picking out your entire fence in person and plan on babysitting them all day while they install the fence. read more

I too had a horrible experience with Fence City. The fence is fine (Ultra Aluminum), however the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The owner, Jack, is aware of the service issues but appears to be doing little to fix the problem. Joe the office manager was rude to me, actually accusing me of changing my order several times, which was not the case, and he too hung up on me. Must just be how they do business. I ordered an EZ Brace on line on 4/17/2018. Paid $20 for shipping via Fed Ex. After 2 weeks with no delivery I called Fence City and spoke to Marge who said a shipping label had been produced and should be there soon. Three days later with no delivery I called Fed Ex who tried to locate the package. It was listed in their system but they could not find it. They suggested I call Fence City to obtain a discription of the package and then call back Fed Ex and they would try again to find it. I called Marge again who was able to locate the package. It was still at Fence City in their shipping area. She said Fed Ex simply did not see it. On 4/30, Fed Ex finally picked up the package and delivered it the following day. Once delivered, I called Marge and asked if I could get a break on the shipping charge since I had to get involved to finally get the package shipped, and if I hadn't, who knows how long it would have sat in their shipping Dept. Marge said that her manager would never agree to that since supposedly Fence City had to pay twice the shipping charge they I actually paid. read more

Just finished getting an Ultra aluminum fence installed by Josh and his team from Fence City. Not only does it look great but the three installers were excellent. Everything is neat as a pin. No clean up for us. They did it all and the fence looks great. read more
