One of our top priorities this spring was to properly fence in the pool on our lot - both for…read moresafety and privacy reasons. The yard as a whole is enclosed, of course but the pool area only had about 1/2 fenced with the rest scrubby-ass bushes. We knew that wasn't going to fly and did some research - DIY was ruled out, so it was time to call in a pro. My husband knew Greg from one of his German groups and asked him for a quote - it was far more reasonable than we could get elsewhere. Installation took about 2/3 of a day and the quality is very high - I didn't know we were getting fancy fence posts and scalloped gates! Plus, we had no mess to clean up at all & they kindly left the scrap (at our request) so we have firepit kindling. Now, we have privacy around the pool (really a benefit to our neighbors who do NOT want to see me in a swimsuit) and protection against our pup taking an unexpected swim. We ended up paying a really great price for high quality work and materials and I am happy with how it all turned out!

I spent $7,500 to have a 6' vinyl privacy fence installed around my backyard. At first, Greg was…read moreextremely responsive. He worked with the city to ensure I was meeting fencing rules. He got all the materials ordered & delivered, then scheduled the install. My installation went very smoothly. His crew was great. There were two dings in the fence, which they immediately came out to repair. When they hung my gate, they didn't hang it level so I asked that it be fixed. Greg told me he'd have to order a new gate since he glued the hinges on when it was hung. I continued to follow up and was told the gate was back ordered and the mill was behind. COVID & supply chain issues so I was patient. 2 years of following up - especially since he guaranteed a "two year workmanship warranty" - and no gate or fix. I can barely open my gate door at this point. Greg stopped responding so I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. He didn't even bother to respond to it. I couldn't be more disappointed or upset.

I have read some of the "not so happy" reviews here, noting the time and place, and have decided…read morethey can't be talking about the company we just completed our little residential project with. Badger Fence was Awesome! Mike was able to drop by for an estimate within a few days of my calling to make an appointment. Everyone else couldn't make it for at least a week, or more. Since Mike was here first, all the rest were compared to him. Quite frankly, none came close, and I'm not just talking about numbers. Mike's title is "Project Sales Manager", but if I didn't know better I'd swear he owned the company. His knowledge, and enthusiasm, was incredibly impressive. He actually Listened to us as we gave him the tour of what we had in mind. He offered suggestions we hadn't thought of, and even talked us out of a few things that weren't such great ideas, fully explaining why. He showed us various options without any 'push', or sales pressure, just the facts, and his honest opinions. He wrote out an estimate right then and there, not having to get back to us days later. Naturally, we had some additional residual questions which I emailed to Mike. He was back with answers almost before I'd finished typing and hit "Send". For us, it was a "no brainer" to sign the contract with Badger, and move full steam ahead. Our project involved crossing our neighbor's property line, so we had to get permission from the owner, who doesn't live there. It took us a little while to get in touch with her, and she had some concerns we hadn't considered. Checked back with Mike, and got the same quick responses after the sale had already been made, and our down payment submitted. That impressed us even more. Our project was small, but complicated. It involved replacing a section of ground swollen chain link for an existing gate, installing two new gates from, plus one through, already standing chain link, and putting up new decorative fencing connecting our house to the neighbor's. As with most projects, we ran into a few unexpected snags, but Mike and the crew were on top of things immediately. We were like, "Wow!" Yeah, Mike had made it a point to be here with "the guys" for the start of install, to make sure everything was laid out right. New posts were sunk, and measurements taken, to custom build the new gates that would be put up after the posts had set. The crew came by the following week to wrap it all up. About an hour after they had completed everything, Mike called to make sure everything was as we wanted and expected it to be. "The guys" had sent him pictures. He also said we shouldn't hesitate to get back in touch if there was ever anything else at all. I've worked in several unrelated fields. There was a customer service component to every position that I held, on the front lines, and in management. I was proud that I was able to maintain an overall rating of 9 out of 10, well ... at least a solid 8.5. (Dealing with the public can be similar to stepping into quicksand, with hidden mines waiting to explode.) Mike blew me out of the water. I would give him a 12! With the level of care and concern that Mike adopted our project as his own, I almost checked the deed to our house to see if he was on it, too. And, "the guys"? Fantastic! Are we pleased? No. We're absolutely THRILLED!
