Had a wood fence installed last week by Fence Factory. They were FABULOUS! Met Amador the supervisor on the job. I had some concerns once it was completed and again Brian and Amador came back out next day and worked with me on a plan and it got completed the following day. I share part of the fence with my neighbors who are also thrilled. These guys are on it don't hesitate they did a wonderful job.

I waited several years before writing this review because I wanted to give Fence Factory the…read morebenefit of the doubt, but I'm still very disappointed with the fence they installed for me in 2022. Fence Factory installed a vinyl fence along the left side of my property. As the fence gets toward the back of the property, it noticeably starts tapering upward instead of remaining level. I brought this up at the time because it was very noticeable. From what I remember being told in person, this was considered normal and correcting it would have required digging deeper where the posts were being installed. I wasn't happy with the explanation, but I paid for the job and moved on without leaving a negative review. The issue continued to bother me, so in 2025 I contacted Fence Factory again. Their branch manager came to my house and looked at the fence in person. After speaking with his superintendent, I was quoted $2,100 to install new posts and take down and reinstall the vinyl in order to lower the fence. I then asked what it would cost if I purchased only the materials and had someone else do the work. I was quoted $648 plus tax for the materials. What frustrates me is that this is a fence Fence Factory originally installed. I raised concerns about how it looked from the beginning, lived with it for years, and when I finally asked them to address it, the solution was for me to spend another $2,100 to redo part of their original installation. I understand that properties can have changes in grade and that not every fence installation will be perfectly level. My issue is with how noticeable this one is and how my concern was handled. If I had known from the beginning that the finished fence would look this way, I would have approached the project differently. I didn't rush to leave a bad review after the installation. I gave it time and even contacted the company again years later to see if something could be done. Unfortunately, based on my experience and the amount I was quoted to correct it, I'm disappointed with both the original workmanship and the way the issue was ultimately handled.

This person advertises himself to be an electrician but he is not licensed. I assumed he was but…read moreyou know what happens when you assume. Well, it happened to me. Work performed was not up to code and was unsafe. I had to have a different electrician (Conejo Services - they are the best), remove this man's work and redo it and was told that the potential existed for me to be electrocuted as the 805 Handyman did not install the panel correctly. He said the job would take 6 hours but after spending 12 hours on Thursday removing the old panel, he left and my family and I were in the dark (literally - he could not restore power as he had not completed the panel install). He came back the next day (Friday), and asked for $200 so he could buy a tracer from store. I gave him the money figuring I would deduct it from the estimate after the job was complete. After another 6 hours, we had power. As the job was still not complete, he returned on Saturday and, after realizing he did not have the expertise to complete the job, told me to hire a "professional electrician" to finish. Then he insisted I pay him anyway. After going back and forth via text message a few times in which I was insulted, told was "gaslighting," him and "messing with his head," this is the message I received: "All I know is you're a f*cking cheapskate son of a b*tch and I don't like the bullsh*t that you're coming up with adding more sh*t on top of it every f*cking sentence. I think you're a piece of shi*t n*gger.... it's rich a**holes like you they got too much money and you go around ripping the small guys off cause you're a f*cking wanna complain about this and complain about that. Yeah the electrician is gonna charge you way more than me and you knew that that's why you went with me then you just decided to rip me off keep my tools and f*ck me out of some money and everything else. You're a real piece of work. I hate your f*cking gut you n*gger... go f*ck yourself you piece of sh*t Please note that Conejo charged me only $500 more than 805 Handyman and I told 805 Handyman twice he can collect his tools at his convenience. At this point though, after receiving a message like that, I do not want him anywhere near me or my family. I have attached the estimate and pics of his work. In the immortal words of Mike Brady (God rest his soul), Carpe Diem!

So recently I had an issue where the gate wasn't opening like the batteries were dead but they weren't. They came out within a day and realized that snails had gotten into the control panel, and it caused the control panel to malfunction. So he cleaned the control panel. Explained to me what happened and told me to watch it and see what happens. Not only did he come out very quickly to my location again, he repaired everything very fast and told me not to worry about the charge this time. I was shocked. It is so nice to know that there are still very gracious, kind and hard-working people in this world. He reminded me if anything goes wrong with the control panel again, I would, most likely, have to replace it. And he told me he would have that part on his truck if I needed him to come back out anytime soon So crossing my fingers that everything is repaired at this time, and as far as the snails go, they get in through the bottom of my unit because there are holes in the door of the unit and so I am now putting little rubber plugs into the bottom so that they don't come in. Thank you so much again! The Gate Pro. You are truly an amazing company and I cannot see enough good things!
