The overall environment is unwelcoming, and I would not recommend this gym to parents looking for reliable childcare.

My wife is the primary policyholder and submitted the required form with my date of birth, phone number, and all the ID numbers. However, Gold's Gym staff kept insisting my name had to appear on the submitted form--even though the form is generated by an automated email system that only shows the primary policyholder's name no matter what you do. I also had my insurance card (showing both our names) and my ID available, but that still wasn't enough. To add to the frustration, when I tried to talk to someone higher up--like the owner or a manager--to get some common-sense resolution, I got absolutely no help. It was like talking to a brick wall. And to top it all off, they don't even offer a veteran's discount, which I find unbelievable in this day and age. I'm only going to this gym because of the insurance rate, but the sheer lack of common sense and customer service has left me really disappointed. I hope they can improve how they handle straightforward situations like this, because it really shouldn't be this hard. They get two stars just because the equipment is kept up.

The staff is so friendly and definitely the small town charm is here. No intimidating huge fancy gym with too many people hogging the machines. The price is very reasonable and you get 24 hour access! This may be a gym that actually makes me enjoy fitness. I am generally excited to go back tomorrow and everyday after that. If you want a friendly, clean, fun place to exercise (the equipment is very easy to use too!)I 100% suggest this spot. I plan to be a loyal member. One other huge bonus for me is the music is EXCELLENT Every little bit helps to get my butt in gear!
