I called to confirm the March schedule, but instead of simply providing the information, the person kept asking, "Are you a member? Are they a member? Check the app." I explained that I was only inquiring about the schedule on behalf of someone overseas and was not requesting any personal information--just a confirmation of the overall schedule. Despite this, she repeatedly insisted that I tell them to check the app or call directly from overseas, which was not practical given the time difference. She then told me not to call at all and to only message via SNS. If phone inquiries are not welcomed, it would be more appropriate to remove the phone number rather than directing callers elsewhere without assistance. Good customer service should focus on helping, not just gatekeeping information.

Absolutely love Hotworx! I've been coming here for almost three years and although this last year…read morehasn't been as consistent (adjusting to being back in office) it's my favorite workout. I hate hot summer weather 90s+, but I absolutely love these infrared saunas. I'll take it over the hot outdoors any day. Also, you can workout 24/7. So even if you have a weird schedule they're always "open" for members. Worried you get bored easily? This is for you! There are a multitude of sessions to choose from and the virtual instructor videos for each change out pretty often on a set rotation. The saunas (yes, saunas!) are set up with ISO workouts on one side and HIIT workouts on the other. There are 8 saunas. Your ISO workouts consist of Hot ISO, Hot Buns (glutes and legs focus), Hot Bands (arms and upper body focus), Hot Barre None (Barre without the bar), Hot Core, Hot Pilates, Hot Warrior, and Hot Stretch. All of them will give you a full body workout and trust me you'll earn the burn. For HIIT you have Cycle, Blast, and Thunder (rowing). All of them are great. Quick 15min time blocks so you can easily squeeze in two workouts in 30min. I personally like to do a few HIIT sessions or a HIIT and an ISO, but they're all great on their own. There is also the FX zone with weights and machines for you to add additional strength training if you desire. I've lost over 120 pounds over the last three years and though I do have some loose skin I'd credit the consistent workouts and infrared sauna with helping to lessen that. I'll come back and add photos of the business to an update soon! Don't wait, call or stop by during "open" hours to schedule your first free session.

I haven't trained with her a day in my life nor had a long conversation, however, since the beginning-she has always had a contagious smile and energy about herself that makes you love her and want to know who she is! The amenities are great, and I've really enjoyed the variety of classes offered. I haven't tried all of the classes, but my favorites have been BodyPump, yoga/yogalates, Spin, and especially Burn on the Turf with Deeno. His class had an incredible energy--it was challenging, high-energy, unique and he was always encouraging, motivating and would brighten up everyone's day with his vibrant spirit. It was genuinely one of the classes I looked forward to attending regularly. That said, there are a few things that have been disappointing. First, the parking situation can be ridiculous, especially during busy times. I've honestly started wondering if some of the dirt/grass areas could potentially be utilized as overflow parking. Second, I don't understand why they won't change the water filters or consistently have towels available for use. I also recently signed up for one of the personal training promotions. Unfortunately, my trainer was late or canceled on a couple occasions and seemed to have forgotten about my last two 30-minute training sessions. That was disappointing, especially after paying for the package. However, I will say that trainer is very knowledgeable with his gift. I respect him- but not the fact I didn't receive what I paid for. Should be, but it's not a huge deal. Let's just say I won't be paying for more packages in the future. Another thing I've noticed from a member's perspective is what appears to be a noticeable difference in how certain employees are treated. Management may not realize how much customers can see from the outside looking in. Some employees seem to receive significantly more recognition, opportunities, and visibility than others--whether that's consistently being featured on social media or being allowed to host classes that aren't even listed on the app for all paying members. It creates the impression that some employees are valued much more than others, and that's difficult to overlook. As a leader at my own place of work- who leads with humility, these things are very important to me. There isn't one employee who would be able to tell you they are not seen, heard nor valued. Lastly, I was extremely disappointed to hear that Deeno is no longer with OneLife. I don't know what happened, and I don't want to speculate about the circumstances. However, I will say that as a member, it was obvious how much people valued him and his classes. His Bootcamp had a following and brought a level of energy and community that was special. It's genuinely disappointing to lose an instructor who made members excited to show up and work hard. Overall, I still think OneLife is a pretty decent gym with a lot to offer, and I'll continue going for the time being. I just hope management takes some of these concerns into consideration, especially when it comes to recognizing the employees and instructors who make such a positive impact on the members. Thanks, OneLife
