Immediately loved how this place looked and made me feel. Great atmosphere. Jake greeted us and sat us immediately. Good options of beer available and Jake did an awesome job making recommendations. The Swedish meatball dinner caught my eye as I haven't had the in years. It was good but not your traditional recipe as it did not have allspice and nutmeg in it nor was it a cream base gravy. The night before Thanksgiving we were staying nearby on our trip north and in need of dinner. We grabbed a table as far away from the door since it was really cold out and they don't have a vestibule to block the wind. They serve breakfast all day so my wife got the giant breakfast burrito- it was very good and enough for two meals! She also started with one of their specialty cocktails with peanut butter whiskey that was reasonably priced. A thumbs up. I opted for the boneless chicken wings with the honey sriracha sauce. They were tasty and a decent sized serving for the price. We had to sort out a pricing issue with the bill but it was quickly resolved. Such a fun place! Some of their foods are named after old "Fun" shows like Gomer Pyle combo, Aunt Bee's Special, Opie Combo... Just kind of fun! The food is always excellent as is the service and the prices are more than fair! We look forward to coming here on our trips back to Eau Claire to see family. My favorite meal is the steak, salad and Lyonnaise potatoes! Huge meal for only $15.00. Their wings are really good, too! The quesadilla is so loaded that I can only eat half of it each time I have had it there. We have been there when it was packed and the food still comes out fast and cooked just right! Biscuits and gravy... Biscuit couldn't even get a butter knife through it. Supplemented an aunt be special for them and the pancakes came out looking like road trip French toast. Not the kitchens best performance. 2 Star because of the typical post 2020 credit card charge. read more

I ordered the Frisco burger and the burger itself had zero seasoning, the sauce was bland, and the only thing that had some flavor was the toast itself and a little of the tomato. Seated immediately on a Saturday night. Friendly capable service. Reasonable priced alcohol drinks. Had avocado BLT and upgraded to side salad as the side. Fresh salad but lots of raw onion on it. Liked that dressing was served on side. Husband had club sandwich and fries. Sandwich was very large. Place was clean and nicely decorated. Seating a bit awkward (husband could not see a TV despite there being many in the establishment). Would have been nice to have a basic burger or a build your own burger option. What a great place in Eau Claire. Group of 4 for breakfast on a Sunday. Busy, but kept things going. All very friendly. We had a skillet, breakfast sandwich, biscuits/gravy and breakfast burrito. I'm gonna give this a strong 4 star rating. Went for breakfast. Beautiful new updated restaurant on a busy intersection in Eau Claire. Good parking and relatively easy access. I had the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were very tasty if just on this side of dense. The gravy was very good. I had eggs on top and a side of sausage. It was all very good and certainly a top 3 B&G in Eau Claire. My counterpart had the hash. I had a bite, it was flavorful. I think they are using pre cut corned beef and making it semi home made. It was good. Service was excellent and friendly. I will be going back and will update for other meals. Overall , a great option in EC fot breakfast and coffee. Stumbled upon this place. Food was fantastic! I had the Thai chicken sandwich. Pet friendly patio was also a win for us with the dog.

Stopped in yesterday. One worker behind the bar, another managing the tables and booths. We found the only empty table and stood there, since the dirty dishes and signed bill were still there. After about 4 minutes, the worker noticed us as she carried food behind us to the corner booth. She said, ' We are a little busy right now. I will be back in a few minutes ' My question, why didn't she clear the table and say please sit and I will be back to wipe the table and bring menus as soon as I can. First, this establishment is to busy for 2 workers at lunchtime, second, she was walking back with her hands empty. Taking the dishes and seating us would have made us feel seen and welcomed and saved her time. Please ramp up your service. My dad and I went there for lunch. Service speed was pretty fast for the amount of people in the restaurant. The a/c was very nice and cool. Price wasn't very high for the value of food that was served. And now onto the food. The burger I got was the loaded goat burger and it was very good. Went for lunch around 11:30, I got the turkey club which was quite large and very good for a club, fries were good but could be crispier, just personal preference though, they were seasoned well. Others in the group had breakfast/lunch options and everybody had nothing but good things to say. Plenty of options on tap as well, and waitstaff was welcoming. It wasn't packed when we were there and our food came out in a very acceptable time frame, not super quick but everything was hot and fresh. Stopped in for lunch. They were busy, but server arrived to take drink order as soon as we sat down. Boneless wings with Buffalo and teriyaki sauces were very good, generous portion. Hubby had Philly steak sandwich which arrived covered in gravy, and caused raised eyebrows! (he's kind of a sandwich snob), but he said it was delicious- plenty of meat, peppers, onions, mushrooms. Thoroughly enjoyed the food - good variety, great prices and delicious! We all had breakfast options for our lunch and were very pleased (group of 7). My steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and tender. The service was great. There was only one waitress taking orders and drinks; however the food came fairly quickly and was delivered by other staff. We were pleasantly surprised by how well the service worked in spite of only one waitress; she was exceptional! We all decided we would definitely be back- sooner rather than later. Went early 4:15 for Friday fish fry. Busy but still had parking and a table. Our waitress was very welcoming and friendly. Ordered our usual flavored lemonade and was the best I've had. I ordered the fried fish with fries. Not your typical batter, was tasty, crispy and not a bit greasy, fish and fries were served very hot and quick. My partner ordered the baked fish and with a Cesar salad. Fish was cooked perfectly served hot and her salad was fresh, crispy and tasty. Both meals came with their own twist on coleslaw that had a little bite and fresh slices of a marble rye bread. All in all a very pleasant establishment with excellent food and service.
