He arrived a little late with his truck and small crew but went right to work and did the whole job in just 3 hours. I had expected a lot of chainsaw noise but they did a lot of cutting with handsaws, using the power tools mostly to cut up and grind the wood. Very impressive work and a great personality. I came across Nova Tree Service when my insurance company required me to remove a very tall…read moreevergreen tree that was overhanging my house. The company provided affordable prices, completed the job ahead of schedule, and demonstrated professionalism throughout the process. A few years later, I hired them again to trim a tree that was rubbing against the side of my new house. They were a pleasure to work with. They explained their methods and reasoning for them, which made me feel reassured. Last spring, after a tree on my property and several others in the neighborhood lost their spring foliage, I reached out to Sal and sent him pictures. He advised us to wait before taking any action. In contrast, my neighbors were told by a different tree service that a blight was causing the trees to die, and they were offered a "special reduced rate" to take them down. Despite this, we decided to wait, and many of my neighbors paid to have large trees removed. A month later, the affected tree sprouted new leaves and has been healthy ever since. I highly recommend Nova Tree Service as a company that knows what they are doing and does it professionally.
