She used warm towel wraps, thoughtful stretching, and techniques I've never experienced during a massage before. Lumi is also fantastic with the hot stone massage, able to hit on all the sore spots and leaves you refreshed at the end. I've been to many massage therapists before and everywhere I've ever gone (from the super posh place in Laguna Beach to any Massage Envy in a mall has been MUCH better than here. The outer lobby is a weird space with uncomfortable and awkward (no arms) chairs. I did see the inner lobby/waiting room for the first time today and that is much nicer and a bit more what I'd expect from somewhere calling themselves a day spa. Nothing fancy, but at least comfortable seating. Not dark and calming like most spa waiting areas, but comfortable enough. The first massage (with Luminada) was the worst I've had in my life. She messed up my hair so much I had to brush it for HOURS and she pulled my hair so hard that I had a migraine and pain in my scalp for almost a week. The rest of the massage was okay, but she spent so much time GIVING me a migraine I was miserable. The next massage I got was with Brittany. She was good, though she told me I couldn't get my $50 gift card back, it would just be a credit on my account. That seemed okay at the time, but now I'm hoping they give me the $50 they owe me without too much hassle. I had some issues with their website booking, though they explained to me that in spite of their NAME being o the website, it's not their website and didn't seem too concerned with notifying the people who run it. I was shocked to later learn this woman is the manager (or claims to be). I've been a manager in many places and would always care if a customer was having issues booking an appointment (though where I was a manager there were no appointments). Today, I had an appointment with Alyisa. My confirmation email even says "8/7/2019, 3:15 PM, Relaxology - 60 Min (Massage) - Alyisa Zwiebel, Felicite Day Spa" & this email asked me to click to confirm, which I did. It did NOT tell me that they might randomly change me to the massage therapist who had given me a migraine in the past WITHOUT CALLING TO ASK IF IT WAS OKAY. Around 3:18, I was about to ask if I'd be taken back soon (we have plans tonight up north), when Luminada told me she was ready for me. HUH?!? No, I have a confirmation with Alyisa. So, I talked to the woman at the front desk. She said there was no note that I wanted her and I was her only appointment, so she told Alyisa not to come in and moved me. I explained that could't happen, since Luminada gave me a migraine last time. She asked if I wanted to try, I said no. At first, it seemed like she wouldn't honor the discount I had for booking this day, but then she said she would. I scheduled an appointment for next week with Alyisa. I suggested that they put a note on their website telling you that you had to make a note that you want that therapist, since even though you make it with a specific therapist there is not guarantee they won't move you. She told me that she'd explained on the phone it's not their website (while I get that, I'm SURE they can communicate with the people who run it - they book appointments for them - surely restaurants who do reservations through Yelp have a way to contact Yelp...), but she didn't care. I tried to show her my confirmation email that said Alyisa and she asked me to stop waving my phone at her and being unreasonable. HUH?!?!? I held my phone steady. I made a simple (and logical) suggestion that she inform those running the website to warn people that they might be moved from one therapist to another WITHOUT being asked or even informed (something I've never heard of before). I've been called a few times over the years asked if they could change me from one therapist to the other (the therapist I'd scheduled was sick or whatever) or to reschedule and had I been called today, I would have gladly rescheduled to another day. I've never been moved from one therapist to another (or doctor or whatever) without being ASKED. The thought they would do it without even TELLING ME (calling me before I got there OR informing me when I checked in) is nuts. These people didn't even NOTIFY me when I arrived. I can't imagine why one would neglect to inform someone that they moved their appointment to another therapist. Would you stand for a substitute hair stylist without warning? The woman who claimed to be the manager didn't care AT ALL. I'm unsure if she's really a manager, but I know that she lied when she told me she didn't have a boss. I called back to try to get them to send me the $50 Spa Finder gift card I have on my account and noticed that they're part of another company. I contacted THAT company through their website and Facebook and got a call from the owner of the spas in question. Though she didn't seem to care much about the issue I had with them moving my appointment without ANY notification, "It seems like it's just not a good fit," and her telling me she'd talk to the woman I spoke with didn't sound super sincere, she did assure me that I'll get my gift card returned to me, so hopefully that will happen. Go elsewhere! read more

I went to this spa with a groupon for a seaweed facial. I have been to multiple spas for facials, so I will give a comparison review between what services I received/didn't. 1. Aesthetics * this place does not impress. The curb appeal is scary, and there's a glimmer of hope on the inside, but the room where the facial took place was a closet, and the corner of the room was actually melting from the candle that was lit there. The cobwebbed drop ceiling tile was browned right above it. Can we say fire hazard? 2. Products * I have no idea what brand of product was being used. Not because the technician didn't tell me (I requested that I didn't want to be schooled during), but because all of the products on the table were in poorly labeled/unlabeled travel bottles. 3. Service * technician was qualified and nice, but did not do nearly as much as others. * no neck/shoulder massage * no hand massage * left for 15 minutes instead 4. No bottled water. If I would have paid full price, I would have been very upset. I will not return. read more

First massage post quarantine was amazing here! They followed all covid protocol with masks, temp checks, and hand washing. I get very comfortable! The massage was excellent and the therapist really asked lots of questions to ensure I got what I wanted! Will definently come back here and try out the other services. Staff was so kind! read more

Felicite Day Spa was very cozy feeling and clean when walking in. I booked a couples massage as a Valentine's Day present to my boyfriend and was so excited to have a great massage. I had Luminada, who was very sweet and professional. My only complaint with her is that my hair was extremely oily after the massage, more than any other massage I've ever had. She also did not focus on my legs and feet like we discussed before hand. My boyfriend was booked with Alyisa, but a woman walked in named Bri to be his masseuse. You could tell that she was either new, training, or just brought in for the day because Luminada had to walk her through what to do. She was very unapproachable and did not listen to what my boyfriend said. She did not focus on any areas that he asked. In fact, he told me that she kept "shaking" him instead of massing him. I don't think being "shaken" should cost that much.... It was very disappointing to say the least and I feel that I totally wasted my money that I saved for his V-day present. Bri also never asked how the massage was and left the building without saying goodbye or checking on him after the massage. Would NOT recommend unless you like to paid to be shaken. read more

First, I'll say this place does have a few good points: - Aesthetically it's beautiful- very posh, well decorated and a pretty relaxing atmosphere. - It was easy to locate and had plenty of parking. - It was easy to schedule and the staff were all friendly enough. However, the thing that brought me to write this review is the quality of the massage I received. While the therapist I saw today was super nice, I honestly feel like I just got oiled rubbed on my skin for an hour. While I can only hope that if I had requested a Deep Tissue massage over the Swedish that it would have been more worth it, honestly- the pressure was non-existent. What was even more upsetting to me was that the whole reason I went in for a massage was because I was having some neck issues and made sure to make it known to the therapist before the session began that was what I wanted to focus on...and she basically just did a typical body massage. I've had many massages and that's what she did- no focus on the area /reason I went in there in the first place. And the fact that I paid $70 (not including tip) for this makes me uber regrettful. Sure, I could've complained and tried to direct her movement and pressure but you don't pay that much money to go in there and do that. I feel like this place has a lot going for it but I think it would be greatly beneficial for the therapists to do more of a "consultation" with the client to see what it is they want exactly and then make sure they stick to that. read more

I had received a groupon gift certificate for the PCA Pumpkin Peel facial at Felicite Day Spa. I'm not very familiar with the area but it wasn't too hard to find and there is a business park across the street and since it was the weekend, there was not much traffic. My one complaint which is not connected to the facial itself was the parking situation. There are maybe 5 parking spots in the front, 2-3 of which are handicap and it's off the main road so is a bit challenging to see if the spaces that are free are handicap or not. I thought I saw an open spot only to realize it was a handicap space...but this was after I had pulled in head first. Word to the wise - it's extremely challenging to get out of the lot if you have to back out (since the place is right off a main road, regardless of the traffic situation and b/c of a curve in the main road) but I didn't really have a choice of how to pull in b/c the potential spot was awkwardly placed towards the side and all the other spots were taken. I circled around a bit in the area but there's really no legitimate place to park so I just found an empty spot at a neighboring business (which looked closed on the weekend) and walked myself up to the spa. I asked about parking and they mentioned they have additional spots in the back. I wish I had known this before or that there was clear signage...maybe once you become a "regular" this is a non-issue. But as a first timer, this was irritating which is why I'm docking them one star. As for the facial, it was fantastic. I was a bit nervous since I had never had a "peel" before but I was assured that with this particular peel you're skin doesn't peel off but you may experience some tingling and slight stinging sensation (both of which I did). The facialist (is that what they're called?!?) was fantastic...I think it was Michelle. She talks you through the process and encourages a dialogue so you can let her know the level of tingling/stinging scale from 1-10. All in all it was a relaxing experience once I got the parking situated. My skin felt taut and very smooth - I was told the PCA Pumpkin Peel is essentially an exfoliation mask. I was asked to make sure that I used sunscreen for the next few days and avoid products with strong ingredients such as retinol until my skin could handle it. I guess you're likely to experience more skin sensitivity after this treatment b/c the products you use absorb much better. I would definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

I reached out after I received an email asking about my experience, and let the spa know my face was a mess; there were some areas that were oozing. Not well positioned for the event. The offer I got was some healing cream. I spent almost 500 dollars to be treated poorly and unprofessionally. If you are looking for a professional salon, this isn't it. read more

When I commented she can use more pressure, she complied. I liked the oil they use because when she first puts it on, it's warm! She is very knowledgable about the body and made a few observations that were dead on. Would go back with another groupon because the regular price is $70! This was the BEST facial I've had in as long as I can remember...years? Eternity, maybe? I am not sure which treatment I received because I asked the esthetician to choose what she thought was most appropriate...I know it was some sort of enzyme peel/mask. The facial was incredibly thorough and even included extractions. My skin looked radiant afterwards not just the next few days, but for weeks after! I have been searching for a place that does Hydrafacials in the Pittsburgh area, so I immediately booked one when I found this place. When I went in for my appointment, I was having MAJOR skin issues. I believe I had contact dermatitis/allergic reaction to a product I was using. Laura talked to me for about 10 minutes and tailored a facial to help heal my skin. She was upfront and honest with me about how she thought a Hydrafacial would not be the best thing for me and explained why she thought a Lactic Acid Peel would be better. After we were done I saw. INSTANT results. Over the course of a week using PCA Skincare products and none of my old products, my skin has never been this clear in my entire adult life! My texture and breakouts completely cleared up and my skin has a beautiful glow to it. I am absolutely ecstatic with the results and I cannot wait to go back!!! read more

I had a massage during the late morning, and the massage room I went in was somewhat bright. I was near a window in the room which drew in some light which I thought was odd. Also, it was not a quiet place, you can hear other people in the hall talking, laughing, etc. It was not very relaxing. They did play music, but it did overcome the noise. I also booked an appointment to their "grand opening". I had an appointment that I came 15 minutes early to as instructed. I was told to stand in a line to speak with another women who was talking to someone for over 20 minutes without acknowledging me. After 30 minutes of waiting and being ignored I left. I realize they were busy during that evening, but I was ignored. It would be one thing if they told me that someone would be with me soon, but they left me alone without much instruction on what to do and where to go. The most terrible customer service, I will be spending my money elsewhere. read more

I was here, at their new location, on Saturday, August 15 for a Girls' Day Out. My mother-in-law bought me, along with my two sister-in-laws, a spa day. We were treated to the entire spa to ourselves, lunch, and two services. Most of us got a gel mani/pedi or, simply, a pedi. What a fabulous mani/pedi! The girls took their time with us. The service was just relaxing and fabulous. I also got the OLEASLIM ANTI-CELLULITE BODY SLIMMING TREATMENT. Wow! It was just amazing! It started with a sugar scrub. I've never done that. It makes your skin so soft! After the scrub, you get a half hour massage. The woman who gave me my massage was an angel! She hit every spot I never knew was sore. She went on to massage an oil into every inch of skin and wrap me in plastic. I was then covered in a portable sauna. The sauna can be put on whatever heat setting is good for you and you are left, to cook, for a half hour. Within that half hour, your body burns 400-600 calories as it tries to lower your body temperature. When I came out of the sauna, I was dripping! The woman who massaged me wiped me down and applied more moisturizer. I came out of that treatment feeling like a new woman! We had the opportunity to clean up and primp after our treatments so we could go to dinner looking appropriate. Ladies, go see Michele. She will treat you like a queen. Her new location is stunning.
