I decided to stop by Woodrack cafe for an iced tea to quench my thirst. Service was very fast in getting me my drink of choice, an iced cucumber lime mint green tea. It was nice and refreshing. Each drink is made to order with options ranging from your standard americano to lattes featuring in-house made syrups. In addition to coffee, they also have some baked treats sourced from Arno's. Arno's is another local favourite of mine and it's dangerously delicious to have these baked treats available downtown when I could usually only get them at the farmer's market. The brass fixtures and steampunk-esque aesthetic go well with the fresh smell of their uniquely roasted beans. The cafe is in the lobby of an office building so it's not a super intimate venue but I definitely appreciate the thoughtful decoration they've added to the coffee stand. Overall, this is a nice new addition to the downtown coffee scene and I know I'll be a frequent guest here.
