Dr. Feldman was knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to ask the right questions to ensure I got the best glasses for my needs. As a VSP Edge provider, his pricing was very reasonable. While the frame selection was more limited than other offices I've visited, the Spyder frame my wife helped pick was a great fit and much more affordable ($140 vs. $230-$260 elsewhere). Dr. Feldman came across as honest and never pushy, which I appreciated. The only hiccup was an inconsistency with his assistant regarding the turnaround time for my glasses--initially quoted as "within a week," but later changed to "two weeks." I didn't get my eyes checked due to Covid in 2020. My ophthalmologist retired in 2019, so it was almost 2 years since my last check up. My husband went to Dr. Feldman and had a great experience there. He is very friendly. Made you feel comfortable and he did a thorough eye exam. I was having a problem with floater, but he said they were normal and that my eyes were healthy. He has a good eye glass assortment and uses your insurance plan to get the maximum coverage. I had an adjustment to my glasses after a few weeks and he made it at no extra cost. It is not the fanciest office, but he does make sure that your eyes are healthy. read more

Before visiting Dr. Feldman I researched him and found that he was a very good optometrist, so I felt good going to him. When I arrived, I found that because of COVID Dr. Feldman was no longer practicing. Instead, there was a female doctor that I knew nothing about. I have a very involved, difficult prescription. I've had to go back twice for them to fix my prescription and presently, it's still not right. Although this female doctor is very nice, it seems like she doesn't have the skill or experience to deal with difficult prescriptions like mine. Dr. Feldman Helped me to be able to see again! After having been at Diamond Eye optometry with a very young and now I know, inexperienced optometrist there, he represcribed the correct strength for my contacts and lenses. I had been at Diamond Eye since Dr Diamond himself ran it. Then, a corp bought it from him and they have been more concerned with getting $$ than in my health and as a customer. They charge for lense fittings (completely unnecessary) and wouldnt submit my glasses until I paid. I was planning to pay upon pickup. Bad service and all without telling me. This year I went to Dr Feldman and he offered that I can pay half and he would submit the glasses and I could pay balance upon pickup. My health care provider is Kaiser Permanente. And yet I have been helped by Dr. Feldman for many many years now. My eyes are particularly challenging too. Now, into my 70's I need trifocal lenses. Recently my trifocaled, transitioning anti-glare lenses became terribly scratched. They are a polycarbonate material not glass, so are subject being scratched if not taken care of. But, my glasses were only a couple of months old and I know how to take care of polycarbonate lenses! I gave them back to the good Doctor. He sent them back to the lab that produced the lenses and they found that one of the coatings was installed incorrectly. They gave me a new set of lenses for FREE! Needless to say I was ecstatic. Doc Feldman went to bat for me and got what I wanted and needed. That is why I will continue to trust my precious eyes to him, , , even though he is out of network! read more

I was looking for a new optometrist since my previous one had moved and luckily I chose Dr. Feldman randomly out of a list of providers that accepted my vision insurance. It was such a good decision! My first interaction with his office was with his receptionist over the phone who was so kind and friendly! She got me an appointment quickly and was thorough about checking to make sure my insurance would be accepted by their office. It's my pet peeve when medical offices don't make sure that you aren't going to waste your time going to their office when they don't accept your medical insurance. When I arrived at the office it was the same receptionist I spoke with on the phone and she was just as friendly in person as she was on the phone. For me, the front office staff is always a reflection of the doctor who runs the office and there is nothing worse than arriving at a medical office for the first time and encountering a front office person who is rude or unfriendly. Luckily, she was the opposite! I barely waited at all when Dr. Feldman came out to greet me and invited me into the exam room. He was so personable and right away I could tell that he was going to be a kind and sweet person. He asked me a lot of questions about my eye history and was very thorough in his explanations in everything. He took much more time out to speak to me than most other optometrists I've ever been to. What struck me the most was his care for my financial comfort and giving me options to better fit my budget. Rather than pushing a more expensive contact lens brand or pressuring me to order glasses right then and there, he was very informative about my options and at no point did I feel pressured to buy anything. Almost every optometry practice I've ever been to has made me feel this way at some point or another. But Dr Feldman was only concerned about my eye health and what good practices I should get better at as far as my contact lens use goes. All in all, I've found my new optometrist! He was honest, kind, caring, informative and I am so glad I found him! If you are someone who is slightly nervous in medical settings, like me, and absolutely need your docs to have good bedside manner to feel ok, then trust me, go with Dr Feldman! read more

Many years ago, I was searching for an Optometrist that would write a prescription for contact lenses, Dr. Feldlman was the only one I could find. At the time he could not match the price from Price Club, then later 800 Contacts. He is competitively priced now. My wife and I have been going to him ever since. We found him to be honest, sincere, and placed our care above making the almighty dollar. My glasses at the time were so heavy they were causing me pain. Dr. Feldman provided plastic lenses, however they made me dizzy. Dr. Feldman took them back and suggested that I may be a good candidate for Lasik Surgery. He did not recommend a particular Lasik Surgery specialist and suggested I shop around. I went to Dr. Manger and had the procedure done. Old age had finally defeated the Lasik correction and I went back to Dr. Feldman, he was truly happy that the Lasik had worked for me. My wife never even considered Lasik and had continued to go to Dr. Feldman. I recently went to see him for a check up and because of difficulty reading. He indicated that I might consider another check for Lasik, but prescribed reading glasses that have helped me tremendously. I recommend Dr. Feldman without hesitation. read more
