DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a DISASTER. -After getting my initial allergy test, they repeatedly postponed my start date for my allergy shots for TWO MONTHS due to admin delays and errors. I even talked to my primary care doctor about getting a referral to a new provider. I decided not to because that would entail a new allergy test and paying out of pocket potentially. Against my better judgement, I stayed with Feldman ENT. -I've been mistakenly overbilled for (more expensive out of pocket) allergy drops instead of shots, which are covered by my insurance -They repeatedly had delays ordering the shot serum. This nearly threw off my treatment timeline and delayed me "moving up" to the stronger second year dose, despite me adhering very strictly to the shot schedule on my own end. (Meaning it nearly compromised my treatment entirely due to admin and supply issues.) -Now once I'm over one year in and locked in with working with Feldman, they've discontinued use of the tracker app for my shots, meaning I have to track my shots with a paper and pen. This has made it MUCH harder for me to stay on schedule. Go anywhere else. Please save yourself the stress and delays. read more

This a medical office with a lot of nice and competent doctors. It also, alas, has the most incompetent and unfriendly front office I have ever dealt with. Getting appointments, medications etc. is a nightmare, which is especially a pain when yr in need to start with. I know the docs are aware of this, as one told me a while ago they had changed the setup. But it does not seem at all changed. After my appt. tomorrow was cancelled by them today (!), I called back, told them I was in pain, and was given a new appt. in two weeks. That's compassion from them. Go elsewhere. read more

Dr Mesick was good but he retired. There are some nice nurses and assistants and some rude, unpleasant ones. As others have noted, discourteous and robotic front desk staff. Dark and unpleasant offices. Don't recommend this DR's office. read more

This was an extremely unprofessional and concerning experience. I was sent to Feldman ENT by my dermatologist for an urgent ear issue (severe swelling, redness, and blistering), yet the office refused to see me. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, repeatedly stating they don't accept walk-ins and were about to close, completely ignoring that I had been referred by another medical provider for immediate care. Even more alarming, she turned her computer screen toward me showing the full patient schedule with names visible -- which appears to be a clear violation of patient privacy laws. Between the lack of basic compassion and the apparent disregard for confidentiality, I would not recommend this office! read more

Scammy business practices or just plain incompetence. I wish I had read the reviews before I ever booked an appointment. Long story short, I cancelled my appointment the week before, but I kept getting reminders. So I called more than 24 hours in advance again to cancel it. They never processed the first cancellation. And surprise, surprise they didn't process the second cancellation either, yet both times I cancelled well before the 24 hour window and both times I was assured the appointment was cancelled. Now these greedy scammers are sending me bills saying I was a no show. Do not ever go here. Updated: I wrote them and provided screenshots of my phone records showing I called to cancel in advance. You know what they did? They reissued the bill. THIS IS A SCAMMY BUSINESS AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

The office canceled an "urgent medical" appointment with a physician I had seen for the past seven years on the calendar for weeks 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to which I was en route commuting. Then, rescheduled me to a different office on the day the rescheduled appointment was made to which there is no easy access by public transportation. I can't hear. I have a massive headache because of the inability to hear and deal with cacophony of noise. read more

How do you review a doctor? It's my first. The nurses were exceptionally kind. Doctor Williams is charming and professional. I was a difficult case and they were extremely patient and thorough. A trip to the doctors is never fun, but it was as good as it possibly could be. The front desk people may be could've been a bit more welcoming. But good care. read more

I came here to see Dr. Jack Williams for a slew of sinus problems. The office staff was professional, kind and extremely efficient. Dr. Williams himself was kind, listened to all of my concerns and had great bedside manner. I left feeling validated that I was in fact right in my instinct to see an ENT after other medical professionals diminished my complaints. I highly recommend coming here! read more

I love Dr Nora Malaisrie. She is kind, friendly, prompt, and expeditious!! I almost drove an hour to the Gaithersburg office just to see her when I was in dire need. I have already referred her to two friends. I have no experience with any other doctors at this practice but the front desk staff seems to be pleasant as well. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service and scheduling. I booked an appointment via Zoc Doc. I get a voicemail at 1:24PM from their office saying they were unable to set up the appointment without an "appointment reasoning" and to give them a call back and they'll get it "squared away". The appointment was cancelled at 1:24PM--not even one minute! I call back at 1:32PM--8 minutes later and speak to the same guy who left the voicemail (Ray?). He indeed cancelled my appointment and offered a different DR at a different time, saying "they can't wait all day for me to call them back." Again, 8 mins had passed and the voicemail said to call back with an appointment reasoning. Unbelievable. Didn't end up taking the appointment because I couldn't wait to get off the phone with this awful scheduler. Avoid at all costs. Any office that is run like that is not worth the time; appointments are booked every 10 minutes. You're just a number and by the looks of it, they just want your insurance money. read more

I can't even expresses into words how pissed off I am. I was so excited about seeing a doctor to get my throat checked out. I saw Dr. Jack Williams who told me tonsil stones. He gave me the antibiotics for it and I thought everything would be great, right? Wrong! Antibiotics didn't work, and so we decided on surgery. I had to schedule the surgery, because the medical staff was too lazy to do it on their own. When they finally came up with a date, they sent me the information, but informed me 3 days before surgery that the anesthesiologist wasn't comfortable giving me the anesthesia with my epilepsy medications. I needed consent, which I brought 2 days before the surgery and I was still refused the surgery because the anesthesiologist was still uncomfortable. They also cancelled my post op appointment, which was important because I wanted to tell my doctor how immediate I needed to reschedule the surgery. Worst medical service!!!! read more

I was there in 2015, I felt like I was barely seen and heard for possibly less than 30 minutes and the doctor even went out at some point to talk with someone in the middle of the examination. They charged over $700 for that to my insurance, very expensive for such a simple examination of my nose and ears. Probably not coming back I said to myself and forgot about it. Now more than two years later I just received a bill stating that my insurance company charged back? (it's a negative adjustment in the bill) $9.97 so I have to pay it before May 1st (next week basically). That's really odd to say the least, and to top it off they don't even offer an online payment option, they want me to send my credit card information written in paper through physical mail. Seriously? This is 2018. read more

Several years ago I had a hearing test administered by Barbara Libbin, Doctor of Audiology, and based upon her recommendations, bought hearing aids. I have a technical background, so I came back to her numerous times to tweak and adjust the various programs available in the hearing aids for different situations and to create new ptograms specifically for me. She was patient, helpful, always responsive, and extremely capable. She also performed minor maintenance each time to keep the hearing aids operating at the highest level. I now regard her as a friend whose skills I hold in high regard. Those skills are not only the audiology ones. She is extremely caring and supportive of her patients. And she always squeezes me in when I need a quick appointment for yet another tweak. read more

My wife and I have been going to this practice for years, and have always gotten excellent service. We've never had a problem getting an appointment or being seen pretty promptly. The staff, nurses, and doctors have always been friendly, competent, and caring. My last visit was this week. I had just returned for the Caribbean, where I got an apparent ear infection that was treated by a local doctor who was not an ENT. When I got back, my ear was still in pain and I needed to be seen by a specialist. I called the Feldman ENT Group, got a friendly person on the phone, and was worked in the same day. The nurse was very attentive and discovered that wax was impacted in my ear, and she cleaned it out. After that, Dr. Chen came in and went over everything that led to my visit. She examined both ears and concluded that I probably had had an outer ear infection, which the antibiotics the island doctor put me on took care of. She was very friendly, empathetic, caring, and professional. I couldn't have been happier with the attention from the who group, from the front desk, to the nurse, to Dr. Chen. I can't explain why some reviewers here have had less happy experiences, but this is my ENT group and I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

I went here a year ago...lots of fluid behind my ear drum, Dr Oringher put a tube in my ear after several attempts at antibiotics didn't work. My outer ear swelled so much that it pushed the tube out...more antibiotics. After doing this for 5 months I said to him "I'm right back to where I was in the beginning, aren't I?" and he agreed I was. He scheduled me with Dr. Feldman whose nurse called a few days before my appointment and cancelled the appointment but didn't want to make another one at t hat time. That was the end of Feldman ENT for me. read more

The front office staff was decent. They were friendly and didn't have an attitude like most receptionist and front office staff at doctors offices in Washington,DC. They ran on schedule and too me back to a room early who. Isn't typical of doctors offices these days. The RN who helped me was friendly and professional as was the woman from the allergy department. I saw Dr. Jack Williams who was great! read more

This group went above and beyond with my care. I was really impressed. I chose them because of their positive reviews on ZocDoc (their reviews are quite poor on Yelp though). They were compassionate and phoned with results as they came in. They also corresponded with my family member who I requested be involved in my care. If needed, I would return to this practice. read more

Dr. Earl and the medical assistant, Stacey were excellent. Stacey was charming. GPS directions are horrible for the Rockledge Drive location. They take you in circles, so what should have taken less than 25 minutes took 54 minutes with the assistance of the 5th person I asked for help. I was only able to reach voice mail in the interim. Couldn't get a human on the phone to make the appointment, so left a message and spelled my last name phonetically. They still got it wrong in their portal .If they hadn't gotten it wrong, I would have filled out all the required data requested on line. The receptionist or office manager was very rude. I gave her the above perspective and she was still nasty. I consider that the timing and the amount of the fine provided in the financial statement to be inappropriate. Unless they opt out of the insurance network and out of payment by Medicare. That means that they determine in part how rapidly they are paid. Although the physician and the medical assistant were terrific, between the screwed up GPS and Waze directions, the impossibility of reaching a human directly, and the rudeness of the receptionist/manager, I doubt that I will go back to this particular office. I hope that human interaction via the phone is something that they will take into the consideration. read more

I cannot recommend this place less. I waited over an hour for a poorly done service. I feel like I got ripped off coming here - the quality of care was poor, the quality of the building/equipment was poor, and the cost was absurd. I work in healthcare, and would feel comfortable saying this is the worst experience I've had. read more

Dr. Jack Williams is AMAZING. I am a Sophomore at a local University, and developed a double ear infection within a month of classes starting that Student Health Center couldn't resolve with antibiotics. Was referred to Dr. Williams through a family one of my friends nannies for. I got an appointment within a day of calling. Dr. Williams and the staff were super thorough and communicative to me about the issue. About to have my third visit next week due to unresolved fluid, but have nothing but good things to say about the clinic! Every time I come in Dr. Williams brings out a model to explain to me what is occurring and what certain treatments will do. read more

My primary care doctor sent me to Feldman ENT for a hearing test. The office is cramped, crowded, and dirty looking. The audiologist was friendly, but my hearing test felt rushed. Then, Dr. Mesick spent all of two minutes with me to go over the results. He dismissed my concerns and started walking out while I was still asking him questions. I would not recommend this practice. read more

Saw Dr.Schoenfeld for an orbital & nasal fracture recently during this pandemic. I am grateful that I was able to lockdown a skilled professional doctor to assist me in such short notice. I saw a different doctor from another practice before him and was gave the run around / poor service as well from GW hospital which was discouraging at the time because my medical needs were very time sensitive. This ENT group were very helpful and didn't charge me for a missed appointment as I was calling around to find the best care for my needs. Anyways I am very pleased with the results, I can finally breathe out my nose for the first time in decades and cosmetic wise my face looks great. My procedure wasn't an easy task and like I said grateful for Dr. Schoenfeld's expertise. My surgery was on a Friday and the Dr even called on Saturday to check up on me to make sure I was doing okay. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give this office 0 stars I absolutely would. I visited on the referral of my primary care physician, and despite multiple messages, I was unable to reach a human to make an appointment. I eventually had to have my doctor's office call them and make an appointment for me. During the appointment, after literally 30 seconds of interacting with Dr. Jack Williams, he referred me to another doctor at a different practice to perform the visit he was supposed to conduct. That doctor had a three month wait, during which time my problem subsided on its own. A few weeks later, I hear from my insurance company that they'd been unable to reach the office to resolve a question about my paperwork. Months and months go by as both I and my insurance company tried to contact the office, to no avail. Finally after persevering through the office's innumerable voicemail systems, after multiple transfers through various staff members completely incapable/unwilling to help me, and threatening to come to the office in person and demand to speak to the doctor immediately, they put me through to a medical assistant, who promised to resolve the issue. Later that day, I received a call from the office stating that the doctor refused to cooperate with the insurance company unless I completed additional tests, not recommended at the time of the visit, for a problem that disappeared months ago. Seriously, avoid at all costs!! read more

Everything perfect, three years in a row. I go to the Feldman group once a year to remove ear wax. In the last three years I was treated by different nurses /technicians and doctors each time, and each and every one was outstandingly competent, helpful, and personable. I have severe hearing loss and can be quite defensive about it, but they really gave me a lot of their time to explain my options. As a result I was able to listen to their excellent advice. (I'm not saying I've TAKEN their advice yet. Denial hasn't worked too good up to now, but you never know.) The receptionists have always been friendly and super-efficient. I have been taken exactly on time -- to the minute -- at doctors' offices a total of three times in my life. All three were at the Feldman Group. But really, Dr Ohringer and your colleagues, you can keep me waiting for, oh, a couple of hours, and I'll still love you all. read more

This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor's office. The doctor I saw rushed me through my appointment and was a bit gruff with me - not wholly unexpected from a doctor in my experience, unfortunately. What followed was the real issue. After performing a routine throat culture and being told by the doctor the test results would be ready in a few business days (results that would, I'll add, determine future course of treatment), I got radio silence. I called and left messages at the office 4 times over the course of 3 weeks. I even went to the office in person to remind them I was still waiting on the results and was told by the front desk staff (who were, I will add, polite and apologetic) that they'd have someone call me asap. That was two weeks ago. Since then I've received voicemail from a medical assistant delivering the results of a *different* lab, one that a *different* specialist ordered and one that I am fairly sure an ENT would *never* order. I called back and told a receptionist what had happened, and again was told I'd receive a call asap with the correct results. I have not. At this point, I'm ready to cut my losses and start the diagnostic process over at another office. I recommend you avoid this office - the strep throat was more enjoyable than their patient services. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I made an appointment using Zocdocs to see Dr. Dettelbech. The appointment was apparently cancelled, but ZocDocs sent an email that landed in my spam so I never got notice of the cancellation. After fighting traffic to arrive, and paying for parking, I arrived and was greeted by the coldest receptionist I think I've ever encountered in a doctor's office. I was in no way rude to her, but she found it necessary to icily blame me for the error. Horrible. These offices cannot rely on a system to do all their scheduling and not reach out to clients in any way when there is a cancellation. Had the receptionist shown a shred of understanding for my situation, rather assuming an aggressive posture, I would have never have been moved to write this review. Definitely will warn others to avoid this group. read more

Easily made an appointment. The office was set up with great care for Covid-19, check in was easy and Dr. Jack Williams was prompt and informative. His manner was professional and positive. His exam and questions were direct, and he demonstrated astute observations of my ENT conditions including recognizing I had Spasmodic Dysphonia with a minute of listening to me, and assuring me that additional medical staff could help me including a voice therapist and another ENT in the group who worked with my condition. read more

The worst front desk service. My appointment was canceled because the doctor went home sick. I was not contacted about the cancellation until I got to the appointment. I have never reviewed anything before. My experience with the Feldman Group has been so negative that I want to warn others to NOT GO to this ENT if they are looking to actually get help with their sleep apnea. Dr. Earl is great, unfortunately the support staff at the office is not helpful, everyone refuses to take ownership, and no one will follow through on your requests. I have been waiting 2 months for someone to assist me, and after calling for what seems to be daily, I made another appointment with Dr. Earl to see if she can finally assist me with getting a CPAP machine. I explained this to the person on the phone making the appointment, and she said "oh wow, hopefully she can help you." Stay away from this place. I have never experienced such rampant incompetence. read more

This has been the WORST experience ever! I saw dr. Jack Williams Friday who cauterized a broken blood vessel in my nose. The moron did not use local anesthesia, so needless to say I was in pain during the procedure. Quite honestly I thought the doctor was drunk. After I was told by the same moron that in an hour I'll be fine, I left the office. Not the case. Pain was so harsh I could not sleep. Called their on- call doctor who just said take Tylenol and that she could not give pain medication, after I had not slept for days and the pain was all over my head to the point of crying. My regular doctor called in a pain med and things went back to normal. Never again will I go to their offices. read more

Horrible, negligent customer service. They have neglected to send in my CPAP supply reauthorization to my medical supply company for weeks. First they didn't get around to issuing the reauthorization for a couple of weeks after I ordered supplies, then after that they sat on the form and did not sign and send it to the company in spite of repeated inquiries from them and me. I'm still waiting for that, and in the meantime I'm sleeping with a broken mask. Have had poor follow up from them in the past as well, when I tried to schedule an appointment. read more

Beware that you will be charged several hundred dollars (in addition to the cost of the visit) for a doctor here to use a scope to look in your nose/throat, which is something that one would think would be included in a visit at an ear, nose and throat doctor since there's no other way for them to look in there. You also will not be told that you will be charged for this - They will just do it and act like it's a normal part of a visit, and then it'll show up on your insurance. Additionally, if you try to call them to follow up about anything, you're directed to a call center and they tell you that they can't give you anyone in the office and that you just have to leave a message, and then they won't call you back for DAYS, by which point you've probably taken your problem elsewhere. I won't be returning. read more

David Umansky - I was treated by Dr. Natalie Earle, who inserted an Inspire in my chest to mitigate my Sleep APNEA. I recently began having pain around the device. On Monday morning November 13, I called and asked to speak with doctor Earle. I was transferred to the medical assistants' voice mail and left a message. On Tuesday, having had no response either by telephone or email, I called again. This time I was told that Dr. Earle had been alerted about my call, but someone from the surgery department would get back to me that day. It is now Wednesday. Once again, having not received a response, I called again and asked to speak with a doctor. I was transferred three times. First, to the voicemail of someone. who was clearly not a doctor. Second, back to the medical assistants' voice mail. The third time to the front desk at 1145 19th St. After being told that Dr. Earle was not in the office, I was transferred to another medical assistant, who said a doctor would call me during her lunch hour. This is not how true professional medical care givers respond to a patient's request for advice and assistance. read more

HORRIBLE customer service -- when you call the office is goes to a call center...and then you explain what you need (think you're getting somewhere) and they dump you into a VM that's never answered. In November of 2018 I presented to Dr. Jessica Shen suffering from impaired hearing and a clogged feeling in my left ear. After physically examining my outer and middle ear, she referred me to the audiologist. The audiologist confirmed the hearing in my left ear was compromised. Unable to discern any physical symptoms, fairly certain the problem wasn't bacterial but might be viral, she prescribed a massive dose of Prednisone. I have learned since from my excellent internist, three excellent psychiatrists, my wonderful psychologist, and my own research, this was the absolutely wrong drug in the wrong dose for a female of small stature over the age of sixty. Obviously, my age and gender were shown on my chart. I was given no guidance as to symptoms nor was I given any warnings as to possible complications. The paralyzing, middle of the night, panic attacks began shortly after I stopped taking the drugs. Shortly after that, over Thanksgiving, 2018 I lapsed into catatonia and required eight days of hospitalization for what has been diagnosed by my medical team as Post Steroidal Psychotic Depression. A pretty cursory research of reliable sources on the internet will show I was given too much of the wrong drug for a woman of my stature and age. I was unable to recognize my husband of thirty years or my family, unable to remember how to walk down stairs, and I lost the ability to speak either of the two languages in which I am now once again fluent. I do not remember any of the tests the remarkable GWU doctors and staff conducted. I remember next to nothing of the eight days I was hospitalized for psychiatric treatment. Once able, I wrote Dr. Shen and told her what had happened. She responded by saying, essentially, these things happen. I'd love to quote the letter, but it vanished from the Feldman portal shortly after I read it. After a year of some very powerful drugs and attentive caring therapy, I am almost well and will soon, with any luck, be drug free. I hope to be fully healed, thanks to some wonderful medical people, very soon. Had Medicare not covered our expenses, we'd be in court over this. read more

I would strongly recommend that you avoid wasting your time with this practice if you need timely care. I used their web app to make an appointment--and in each of three times it was cancelled. After waiting on hold for a half hour, yes, 30 minutes, I finally got someone on the phone and explained that I needed to urgently see one of their doctors (anyone near redline), and she gave me an appointment. Now, I get a call 24 hours before my appointment, informing me it was cancelled. Really? The explanation was that because I was a new patient. This despite having seen one of their doctors several years ago. Ugh. Such bad treatment! So poorly and insensitively managed. read more
