I'm guessing he broke down from earlier customers sampling ice cream also as we saw them doing the same. He told my 15 year old daughter she was too big to be asking to sample things and my 17 year old he was acting like a little boy. My 17 year old had sampled 'fig' but decided it wasn't what he wanted and then he sampled the chocolate chip and that's when he went off on my daughter when she asked to try it and then laid into raising his voice at my son. There was no one behind us at the time. I guess he was having a bad day but sure wish he wouldn't have took it out on my family. The ice cream we did get was good though....

It's a small shop just a stone's throw from the Höhematte (the park in the center of Interlaken where paragliders land). Our group of four learned about chocolate making, sampled different chocolate ingredients and varieties, and then made our own custom chocolate bars, and we had a great time doing it. The workshop lasted about an hour, and the chocolate we made was ready for pickup, packaged in plastic sleeves and nicely bagged, ninety minutes later. Our workshop leader spoke fluent English and German (he was an American ex-pat studying in Switzerland) and the chocolate bars we made were sizable and became great souvenirs.
