When I demanded a refund she became mad and demanded I got to atm to give her cash instead. I said no, I want it on my card. My boyfriend and I spontaneously went to this massage place after a backpacking trip. We walked in and they immediately took us in after I requested a one hour couples massage. A man gave me my massage while my boyfriend had a woman. He was very good at targeting my problem areas which are primarily my neck and traps. My minor critique is I wish he varied the techniques a bit more. He would use the same motion several times and it got to the point that it was painful, but the type of discomfort where I knew it would be better for my tense muscles in the long run. I also wish the towel was larger. I am already a petite woman and the towel was not that large. Anywho, as for my significant other, he felt he did not really receive much of a massage. He felt the woman was lightly caressing his body the entire time and overall it was relaxing but she did not really focus on any of his problem areas nor did he feel as much tension was released as it could have. Literally the most uncomfortable and inappropriate massage I have ever had. I swear it's a shady happy ending place. Girl ripped off my sheet and massaged my back while I laid there naked. Then when she massaged my legs she kept rubbing my inner thighs very close to my privates. I finally had to tell her to stop. And when I turned over I had to ask for the sheet and very specifically told her she was not allowed to touch me anywhere on my torso. She was like "oh, ok ok." She massaged my legs again and was again very close to areas she was not supposed to be. She also massaged my hands and kept intentionally lightly scratching my hands. This is a unique situation where I came with a friend and there was only one eligible therapist, the lady that was there said she just started learning and won't be good. Thank you for honesty. So I let my friend do the foot massage with the male therapist. I waited uncomfortably in the lounge area. Overall the place seemed quite inappropriate. Seen a lot of men walking around with nothing but a barely there towel and slippers on. I did not expect to see all that. They were all escorted (lol) by female therapists that wore very very short skirts, up and down the stairs to different rooms. Why do they all wear short skirts and it's November, Employee dress code? After my friends service, we got out quickly. TLDR; huge lack of professionalism, does not feel safe, but if you really want a massage, you won't die from coming here, but for the price you're going to pay you might as well pay $20 more and book a week in advance with another massage service around the area. I speak/understand mandarin, but I spoke in fluent English the entire time I interacted with them. So many yellow/red flags, so I'll just bullet point them, and if you decide you're cool with all of these, maybe this is the spot for you: - this business isn't located in a very good neighborhood. If there is an open window to the outside, there's a good chance you will hear people yelling from the outside. - A guy came into the room and the woman mainly helping us said to him we wanted female masseuse only... following that she said: 你喜欢上? 外面有一个女的要全身. WTF. loosely translated she kind of just said: "you took a liking to them? there's a woman that wants a full body in the other room". The guy just looked kind of angry/upset and left the room. Gross. They also said some sketchy things during the massage to each other. - the massage room we were assigned to does not have a door handle and they would peek thru the hole lol - people constantly interrupted our massage to talk to the ladies and my masseuse constantly left or paused to take care of business outside, I'm pretty sure my masseuse left for at least 5 mins total. - they stare you down as your write your tip amount - this place looked beat up and old - the lady that gave me a massage touched places no other masseuse had ever touched. and I've been to easily 60 massages in my lifetime - they just throw you into a room and expect you to know what to do, my friend is new to massages and was left very confused. Which if you don't know what to do: you strip down to your underwear and get under the towel. - they kind of just touch you most of the time. They didn't really dig into the muscles, some of the techniques were there, but I didn't enjoy more than a total of 5 mins of massage. A lot of the time they just touched around. - weird massage oil - kept forgetting which massage we ordered Pros: - you don't really need an appointment and you can usually just walk in Expectations they still met: - they put seemingly new sheets and a paper towel for your face - at least they still wipe the oil off of you with a hot towel - small cup of water after massage (not sure if you'd want it, but they offer) - we were still given two female masseuse after requesting - we got out safe I would not come back, and I would advise people to avoid this. I maybe would give 2 stars for the woman that committed to giving us only female masseuse, but... this place really shouldn't have 4 stars. My sister and I walked in for foot massages and felt ridiculously hot inside that were starting to sweat lol We were able to be seen right away for our foot massages and 2 patrons were finished with theirs. What caught my attention about this place is they did NOT replace the towels from the previous 2 people but just refolded everything like new and placed a fake flower on top. It really bothered me that maybe this place was not clean but my sister and I were seated in different massage chairs so hopefully the ones we got were fresh and clean lol I thoroughly enjoyed my foot massage and did not feel rushed. They have one bathroom that we used and it was OK. They provided us loose fitting shorts to switch into (since we had pants and denim jeans on) prior to our massages which was nice. I had a reflexology appointment with Jason yesterday. It was my first time. HE really knows what he is doing. I have been having massages for many years and this a fully clothed full-body massage except for stomach and chest. He works with deep pressure just as I like it. I would highly recommend him if you enjoy that type of pressure. I don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese so there was some language barrier. 5 stars if for Jason. I asked for a male massage therapist and they had one available. The place was quiet and the massage was decent. He did massage my glutes and took the towel off but this didn't feel inappropriate having had several Asian style massages. He did not touch my inappropriately and I never felt uncomfortable. He said he had made a reservation for us, but they had nothing in their computer. There was definitely a language barrier issue, which is understandable, but it was just awkward confusion. They then insisted he pay in advance, and he tipped 20%. They look at the slip and say "we'll keep this for after. In case you want to tip more." Oooook. They say they can help us but want to take us up seperately, and that I should go up first. Um, ok. I follow the employee and am taken to a single room. A creepy single room. A creepy single room with hearts everywhere and a plastic rose on the table and only a small towel to cover my business. Whatever. I play along and the "massage therapist" comes back in and it just feels like she's not used to actually giving massages. I'm not going to make any accusations that could get me or anybody else in trouble, but read through the lines. Then somebody else comes in and says they need to move me to another room, and there's my bf in a room with 2 tables. We're both creeped out but decide to roll with it. The massage begins, and it's maybe a C- level massage. But I couldn't ever properly relax because I wasn't sure how this massage was going to... end. Long story short, neither of us ended up having any surprises, but we both 100% thought it was going to end differently. We couldn't help but laugh, but I also wanted to take a shower. I asked how much the total was but she could not answer me and she kept pressuring me to sign before the massage. After approximately 5 minutes, my GF and I left and I cancelled the transaction only to learn that she still charged us for the service and it posted onto my credit card. Whilst we were leaving, I noticed her tinkering with the credit card reader and suspected that she charged us even while we were walking out even though we were only there for less than 5 minutes. This establishment is a scammy establishment in an unsafe area so buyer please beware. I am going through with a full refund with my credit card's dispute team. read more

I treated two friends and randomly chose this spot since it was open late and appeared to be satisfactory and or acceptable to say the least. While our full body massages at $70 each was fairly cheap and the spa appeared to employ a friendly staff and present itself as a clean establishment, my massage experience overall was pretty basic. The language barrier was not a problem as they spoke a sufficient amount of English, but they could work on their etiquette and how to go about getting tipped. What started as them coming across as genuinely friendly ended up not being true because they were rude. It's not the customer service you would come to expect from a spa and it's enough to warrant a reconsideration of the staff's approach with clients. It was far from a happy ending and the level of relaxation and benefits of the massage were mediocre. I definitely won't be eager to come back. But given the price and depending on my mood and any other available options, they might be lucky if they saw me again. (It wasn't enough for me to say I'm never coming back, but it's close.) CRIMINAL is at best I can describe this place and we're filing a police complaint. My girl friend and I went for a couple's massage. We were taken to the couple's room upstairs. A guy and a woman come in and the guy asks my girl friend to undress completely before he leaves the room! My girl friend and I change down to our underwear and lie down on the massage table covering ourselves with a tiny towel that was given to us. The woman masseuse is working on me and the guy on my girl friend and we're both in the same room. Shortly after the massage begins, the male masseuse starts climbing on the table and pushing his privates in my girl friend's body at regular intervals, pretending it's all part of the massage. My girl friend was frozen not sure how to react until the guy soon starts slipping his hands under my girl friend's panties and shortly after removes the small towel and PULLS DOWN HER PANTIES WITHOUT CONSENT half way down and starts sliding his hand on her butt. This is when we reacted and asked him to stop, infuriated at the direct sexual misconduct and inappropriate sexual touching. My girl friend covers herself back and the guy is now just working her feet and hands. Aware I'm watching his every move, he becomes more cautious until few minutes later he lifts the small towel entirely, looking at my girl friend and asks her to turn around on her back. We've had enough and we decided to escalate the situation. My girl friend was in shock, unsure how to react to to the sexual misconduct she just experienced. We end the massage, get dressed and go down to the reception to complain. To our astonishment, the lady at the reception bluntly tells my girl friend "Did you ask him to stop?" When did it become legal for a male masseuse to pull down panties during massage without consent and grope a woman? Many females experience such situation each day and it's not uncommon for them to freeze. We're filing a police complaint and writing this review so other females have been forewarned. read more

Left the place feeling harrassed, violated, and worked over for the most money they could get from us. The lady helping me touched me inappropriately several times despite being asked to stop, after leaving my friend said the lady helping him did the same thing and he had to tell her to stop. After we asked them both to stop they tried to give us a "happy ending". I thought this only happened in movies. My friend and I only came in after seeing something about "$35 for an hour foot and deep tissue massage", but went in and the lady told us "No no,to get foot and deep tissue its $70" despite the ad, and that we have to pay upfront. So we had paid for an hour session and by the time she said "all done" we had only been there in building 50 minutes TOTAL.(I sent a text before walking in so I know the exact time I got in) When we Tried to leave but lady demanded a tip before leaving. My friend said "$50 tip" and she said "No,no,$60! $60!!" I just feel worked over, and violated. Not that it matters, but I am a gay man, so was definitely not there for that or putting out any kind of hints. TLDR; Left feeling violated, harassed, and worked over for the highest price possible. I think this place has great potential but just needs a few easy tweaks from management. They need to create a longer music playlist beyond 1 song repeating for an hour LOL. Both times I went it was one song looping. Also certain rooms don't have lighting dimmers, so it's too bright to really relax your eyes. They also shouldn't ask to pay before the massage itself. That's not good etiquette toward the customer and business relationship. The bathroom for customers downstairs looks very bad and does not look clean and has zero effort towards design and aesthetic for a massage establishment. Atmosphere is everything, so hopefully management will read this because these are all EASY fixes that will improve business! :) I appreciate that they have ample space to take walk ins. As sometimes you fly in and need back work after being in a plane but don't think to schedule a massage in advance. Also nice that they are open late for the same reason of late flight arrivals into PDX. read more

Went here based on the Yelp reviews, and I was very pleased. Initially I got the 30 min full body and 30 min foot massage for $60, but switched to the 60 min body for $70. Place was clean, simple. I felt comfortable. I was cared for by a strong female staff member. Full 60 minutes. Highly recommend for a real Chinese acupressure style massage. I decided to do something nice for my birthday(after work at 8:45) and I got the 1 hr foot massage from Jason. The foot massage came with a full body deep tissue work that was incredible. I have very damaged nerves and trauma tissue and without mention Jason found the troubled areas and triggered points needing attention. Not for the faint of heart, he worked me to points of almost sensational overload then releasing the stressed areas, making this an truely worthwhile experience. Do you have eyebrows? NOT ANYMORE AFTER COMING HERE! lol! The masseuse has no concept of guests wearing any make-up here and the first thing they touch/massage is your eyebrows then the rest of your face. I swear I must've looked like a clown within minutes of my massage! lol But nonetheless, the massage was pretty good. It's just like any other foot reflexology place. They work on your face and head first, then neck and shoulders, then arms/hands, legs/feet, and lastly your back. This is for the 60min FOOT massage which costs $35. If you've never been to a foot massage place, don't think the 60min is just massaging your feet. I suppose if that's what you want, you could ask for just feet but I didn't and this type of massage is standard practice everywhere. Service is fine. I got seated right away. No wait or appointment necessary. I just walked in. They speak minimal English but enough to understand if you tell them the pressure is too hard or too soft. And my masseuse was nice. So why 3 stars? The ambiance was a little lacking but decent enough. The bathroom had no paper towels and soap. They did have hand sanitizer and an air dryer. But most importantly, my masseuse shortchanged me 5 minutes. He only worked on me for 55min so no bueno to that. And I wish he would use more massage lotion/oil or whatever because all I felt was pretty much his bare hands. I'm not sure if he used any lotion actually. I think he just applied some hand sanitizer on himself and worked on me with that, and that's it. You know how fast hand sanitizer dissipates once you rub it onto your skin. Other than that, it was fine. A little pricey compared to other foot massage places I've been to in California but maybe this is just standard price for Portland? I know we were the last sessions of the night and I know I'm female, but that doesn't mean I want a frufru massage. I asked on several occasions to go harder and even pointed to my desired areas of focus. It was truly like really bad sex, where after awhile of awkward motions you just kind of wait for it to be over. My massage started after my friend's massage did, but ended before my friend's session did. Come on man. We're seated right next to each other! Absolutely amazing! Wonderful atmosphere, very polite and accommodating. I went in for a simple foot massage and left feeling like a princess. My feet, during the process, felt as though they were being washed away and replaced with the finest woven silks. Reflexology....it's the same basic process whether in Asia, Vancouver BC, NYC or San Fran. 3 part process: Head, hands shoulder massage for 20mins, Feet & leg massage for 20mins (feet in hot water first 20 soaking) and then you flip over and get back massage for 20. This place is outstanding. First time today an I've been over 100 times around the world. Been going to Reflexology on 82nd in yown and not as clean as it used to be.
