It has many facets and components but the gist is that its a center for goods to be donated, re-used, up-cycled and turned into art or whatever else you want it to be. If you are a teacher looking for supplies for ur students she's got EVERYTHING (not an exaggeration). I believe teachers get discounts but I'm not entirely sure and even if they don't everything is super cheap. If you are a person who likes to be inspired, check out the space she's got EVERYTHING, books, art supplies, jewelry, jewelry making supplies, stamps, paper, yarn, gadgets and gizmo's aplenty. I have not an artistic fiber in my being but just hanging out there makes me feel like I'm an artist. There are also classes and events, like fill a bag day (for $5 or $6), wine and art classes in the evening on Wednesdays and the one I frequent is the toddler art class on Tuesday (10:00 am-11:30 am). Carly reads a story to the kids- who ADORE her and she them- and then creates a super toddler friendly art project around that story. An example is the time she read an Eric Carlyle book and then led an art project using tissue paper. She gives each child so much loving individual attention and is so easy going. My daughter loves her and loves going to the sharing tree. She does an incredible job of fostering a strong sense of creative, conscious, community in Ole T-Town.

Looking for a fun safe space to perhaps learn a thing or two about pottery? Well, sorry, this…read moreisn't the place for you. Looking for a pretentious pottery place with prejudicial and presumptuous proprietors? (That's alliteration my friends) Then you found it! Hopefully you enjoy a library type environment - minus the books, fun, or opportunity to learn anything. Here you can light money on fire, make a mess, then clean it all up! If you are lucky, the instructor may even speak to you. If you are luckier, your instructor might even ensure your equipment isn't broken or ill-suited to you after multiple classes. That is, if they are not to busy paying attention to their advanced cult members, including people disrupting their beginning classes by showing off their prized, strange, and unsightly cat sculptures (or other things) they accomplished at your expense. Be sure not to smile or speak. This is strictly forbidden. If you break these unspoken rules, you will probably be asked not to return, without warning of course. In doing so, they may make defaming or slanderous statements about you. I guess they are so used to getting their hands dirty... The good news is, there is a strong chance you will get a refund from some condescending person via text or E-mail a few days later. Thereafter, they will probably feel guilty and act like they want to have an indirect and meaningful conversation solely to clear their own conscious or avoid negative feedback. Once that fails, they will probably just use your negative, honest feedback, as support for their self confirmation bias. Just sit at home and watch the The Family Stone. Its a great movie and a way better experience. No hard feelings. Ooh, the wheel in the sky keeps on turning I don't know where I'll be tomorrow Wheel in the sky keeps on turning

On the first Friday of every month, the park hosts the very popular "First Friday Gallery Hop," an event that provides a lively, enjoyable experience with open galleries/shops, live music, and food. I really enjoyed this place. This is a must visit while you are in Tallahassee. You can easily spend a half day or more here. It is easily accesible and I highly recommend checking this place out if you have the chance.

Twice a year, October for their Halloween themed shows and March for their regular shows, we get the opportunity to go to the circus and see amateur student performances, but with an air of professionalism (like all other theatre performances at FSU). I've seen a few of the Halloween shows over the last few years and look forward this spring to finally getting to a regular show, which are usually more intense since students have had longer to practice and train together. The Halloween shows are so much fun though, with lots of scary costumes and spooky music. The student performers are amazingly talented, especially since this is an unpaid extracurricular activity for them. Overall, as much fun as FSU sports are to watch, the university offers so many other forms of entertainment, like the Flying High Circus!
