We were given directions but you have free leeway on how to do it! :) My only complain was that we did not got a chance to make the cake, frosting, and filing. I love this place. for a reasonable price, you not only get a great meal but a demonstration of the meal preparation, and recipes plus ideas, tips, and suggestions you can apply to other preparations. Jessica has a wealth of knowledge. Each meal has a theme, usually ethnic. but also often traditional food related to a holiday. She also offers large multi-course holiday sit down dinners that are not demonstrations. I was invited here for the sold out "Christmas Feast" with the family. It was like stepping into a warm, educational culinary adventure. Kitchen able pairs instruction and classic cooking technique into a inviting meal. You are not just showing up to eat but you are there to explore and enjoy fine foods. The decor is lovely,charming and highlights cooking and international cuisine. It's like showing up at the cool aunts house with rich aromas and a gaggle of genuine foodies around. Everything about this place reminds me of experiencing the joy of cooking with a loved one. The appeal here is flavors made with love. Crackers,cheese,grapes with cured meats decorated with clever presentation were plentiful to greet you at the door. The hospitality was at its finest. Intuitive and adorable. As a first course we enjoyed a beautiful shaved Brussels sprout salad plentiful with pancetta and fresh rendered bacon fat and citrus dressing. Also for the salad course we enjoyed The fried goat cheese salad which was bright and fruity. I love a fabulous crispy breaded goat cheese. Mixed greens kissed with sweet, fruity flavors. For the main course there was no reservation and three protein options to enjoy. Perfectly roasted prime rib sliced before you and steaming from the oven accompanied by a vibrant horseradish sauce. A brilliant pistachio crusted salmon served on a bed of fresh asparagus. And last but not least a brilliant and robust roasted goose. My god it was Devine and very gamey. I believe this was my first time enjoying goose and I believe it won't be my last. The sides were plentiful including All day roasted potatoes. Nice and crispy full little potatoes on the outside and creamy soft inside. Butter roasted carrots soft and fragrant. After enjoying such a nice three courses of decadence we finished this lovely meal with. The chocolate Yule log of my life or also known as Bûche de Noël. A very charming detail was the marshmallow and chocolate cap mushrooms. This desert looks like the epitome of the holiday season! Yummy ice cream and cake chilled together and rich. We also had a pillowy coconut cake that had a lovely flavor. This was truly a nice experience and highly recommend you sign up for a feast or cooking class.
