There are many lodges and summer homes for those that come up to this area. The larger population allows lots of restaurants and stores. We can't wait to try some of them. They are worth checking out. There are also outdoor activities to enjoy in this area. Lakes, woods and wildlife provide activities in nature. I went into the store and the signs are a bit misleading bc it shows one price as a sale price but then you are required to buy at least three items in most cases to get that price. It is the only department store in town so I do check here often. The store is clean and I was greeted immediately upon entering. This store doesn't have a big inventory. They still have some nice clothes but kitchenware is almost bare, bedding is ok but they didn't have tablecloths. I wish this store would have more inventory so I could shop here more often. Big Lots is not the junk store anymore. It has nice snacks, organization item (and not just garbage plastic either) health and beauty, decor and furniture. I bought some snack foods like unsweetened coconut chips and dried mulberry and goji berries. They were good and I've been back since and got more. I also found some garden fairies to add to my garden. I didn't think I would find them up here but they have many kinds of fairies and settings. I am very happy we stopped in. They have much nicer things than I expected. I will definitely be back and recommend Big Lots!
