I wanted to get some water that was on a shelf that was too high for me. Over the next forty minutes, I talked with five different people that said they would get someone to help me. No one came to help. Finally, some tall person helped me get the water I needed. Their comment was that no Walmart person can be bothered to help from their experience. This is the worst service I have ever received at any Walmart. On an other note, this store has a very poor selections of Products. The store is significantly bigger that the stores in Phoenix with more room between the rows, which is nice, but the selection is about what half of what I have seen at any other store. read more

I've been calling for two days no one has answered the phone for operator! I called all department and the only person that answered in electronics was ariish. Buyer Beware!! The new scam seems to be employees, cashiers specifically taking 1or two items out of your cart, discretely that is. They don't give you a receipt. On purpose is my guess so the cashier can then take your items and either say, they were paid for, or they return the items for the $$$. I even asked, is that all? She just looked at me, no response. If I check all the bags that I see on top of the spinning grocery bag gondola and there's nothing else there and I don't get home with one or two items. Where did they go? FN Crapmart. A couple came after me and was asked to use the Walmart+ line if they were using a card. Others after me were offered the same. I was not offered that option which left me wondering why. I had no issues whatsoever upon several visits while traveling. I didn't notice that it wasn't clean. They had what I went in for and what I didn't find, was given help to find it. Sadly any time of day, some employees took up so much space stocking items that blocked the aisles from wheelchairs and carts that cannot get past, and must wait a long time to grab and go. Outside of that, my missions were accomplished. read more

Seems like one of the only places to find all you need here. We've gone to this Walmart about 10 times in the short time we've lived here. This is a supercenter-the store is very large and has so much. The departments seem well stocked, organized and clean. Staff has been really great in helping us find things. There is one that knows where everything is! When I go back, I will find his name and add it here. The store also has a hair and a nail salon, an optical and a hearing department. I had a problem with my sunglasses that I purchased at a place in California. The staff was so helpful and fixed it for me perfectly. Great service. I'm sure we'll be back and I recommend this store to others. read more

Show Low, Az Walmart Curbside Pickup is crap! I had a 9pm - 10pm time slot. I got to Walmart at 9:30pm, I tried to sign in to let them know I was there on the app, the app said that curbside pickup was closed and I couldn't sign in. So I went inside to customer service and they said that curbside pickup isn't part of Walmart, they operate on their own separate from Walmart. The Walmart customer service clerk told me to go outside and look for the phone number to curbside pickup on the sign outside. I had to walk a city block to find the number only to find that they were there, I got my order but they made substitutions that I didn't chose that cost me more money. I asked them about them picking things I didn't purchase on the app, the reply, "we are able to pick similar items on your list even if it costs you more money". Unbelievable! What is the use In having an app to chose the items you want if they can chose things for you even if it costs YOU more money! Not only that but a few items weren't in the order I made, I asked the 20 yr old young man about it and he said, "oh you can come and pick up the rest tomorrow." WHAT? I LIVE 20 miles out of town, it costs me $10.00 in gas to drive to town, I'm not coming back to town the next day because they cant do their job right. I went this morning to have an oil change, had a 8:00 appointment. i got there before 8:00 had one vehicle in front of me. I didn't get checked in until 8:39 because they were short employees. So was first in line by time I was checked in with nobody waiting. I shopped for about 45 minutes came back was still first in line with at least 5 vehicles behind me and a vehicle being worked on in front of me that was not even around when I got checked in. I will never have any vehicle work done at Walmart again. read more

Curbside is terrible service. I called 38 times, walked inside to get help, told to knock on glass door (remember I'm the customer) which I did and no response. Cancelled my order through 800#. Trying calling the store to talk to a store manager, not one department answer the phone till I called back the 8th time. They transfer to the manager office and of course no answer. Terrible, terrible service and unprofessional but we are talking about Walmart. Its better to shop at Safeway, at least you get gas points or free food. This is probably the WORST Walmart I have ever been in. We summer in the mountains and winter in Phoenix so have been in many Walmarts. WHO made the management decision to have NO human bodies to check out customers in what is probably one of Walmarts busiest locations. Customers are not great at checking out their own product and OFTEN times need assistance. This is the slowest process since there may or may not be a Walmart employee there to assist. This is HORRIBLE customer service! We drive 30 minutes longer to go to another local Walmart that is managed in a MUCH better manner. Thank goodness for them. read more

If I had only dealt with Gene, this review would be 5 stars, but unfortunately when I pulled up to get my donut changed and tire put back on I rolled down my window to ask a guy whose name I was told was Roger (Altho his coworker didn't seem too sure so I hope he didn't give me a fake name), but anyway, I called out to "Roger" to ask him where he wanted me to park the car and I got a very rude look in return as well as a motion for me to go away and leave him alone as he was too busy to answer my simple question. I guess "Roger" needs to be retrained on his customer service skills and hopefully put out as a cart pusher so he doesn't have to be bothered with customers so much as we're obviously interfering with his work. Walmart is too small for the White Mountains. We need other options for shopping. They are under staffed and it shows in the store. The shelves are bare and pricing is missing on so many items. The isles are bombarded with inventory not placed on shelves and too many employees doing on line orders. They take up the isle space and make it hard for people to shop on store. The carts for the disabled are never available. Broken registers for self checkout and no cashiers. I hate shopping there. Give us more choices!!! read more

This was probably the most insane day to go to the grocery store - the day before a holiday. This is a huge store with lots of options. The Produce department deserves 5 stars, it's stocked really well, everything is very fresh and beautiful, and the prices are VERY low compared to regular grocery stores. It has the best produce of any of the Arizona Walmarts that I've seen. The rest of the store seems well-stocked as well, as well as can be expected during all of the shortages. However, the CHECK-OUT LINES are horrific. Whenever I go, there are only 2 cashiers, and 1 is an express lane. The rest are self-checkouts. I am young, but I was in a terrible car accident, and I doing the self-checkout is painful. Also, since I'm buying a cart full of vegetables, looking up every code is annoying. But I used the self-checkout anyways last time, as the cashier lines were massive. After scanning everything, it wouldn't let me pay with cash! There were NO signs! And I had to flag someone down and transfer to the customer service line. Ridiculous! Then THIS time, I got in one of the 2 cashier lines, and I timed it. It took THIRTY-TWO MINUTES to go through the line!!! It was grueling. The cashiers were so slow with zero sense of urgency. My husband and I have been in grocery business for 8 years and this would be unacceptable at our stores. I took a photo of my phone's timer. The front-end deserves 1 star or zero. The customer service lady basically cared less when I asked about it, saying most of the self checkouts were cash only. NO sign saying so. read more

Honestly I am dissatisfied and disappointed with this Walmart . First off, they have people selling crafts at both doors. These people will literally block your way in to ask you, very firmly to look at their items. And on the way out too. This makes me very uncomfortable, as I don't have a lot of money and have to tell them no. Ofcourse I'm met with glares when I say no. Secondly, the prices are getting crazy. A pack of water was $3.20 a couple of months ago, now it's $5.99 for that same pack. Summer surge prices. Thirdly, I don't feel comfortable even shopping at ANY Walmart because their stuff keeps getting recalled. Produce, and now Apple juice for ARSENIC!? Lastly, there are panhandlers all over their property. By the stop signs, in the parking lot, can't they do anything about this? I almost hit one when they jumped in front of my car to panhandle. Been in multiple times since moving to Show Low late last year. Never seen a store so consistently chaotic and torn up as this one in the 20+ years of using many Walmarts. Tried various days and times but always a mob scene, picked over, with unopened pallets jamming hallways. So I tried Walmart.com, formerly a great way to shop. Like the good value buyer I am, I always structure my orders so as to get free shipping. A few weeks ago, I ordered a bottle of lotion listed at $9.47 as part of a larger order that qualified for "Free Shipping" per WM.com. Two days later it arrived with $60 in shipping costs. Turns out Walmart allows vendors (Suprememed) to toss in their own shipping fees in small print on the very last page of the order process. I contacted both Walmart and the vendorscammer, but to no avail. I'm now on the hook to pay almost $70 for Walmart's "bargain". By allowing crooks like these to operate, defending their shady practices, and failing to protect customers, Walmart has disqualified itself from further business with me. Yesterday, I went to Walmart for an oil change and some MREs for an upcoming camping trip. When I arrived, in the pouring rain, the lady who checked in my car at TLE was standing in the rain, using a tablet that didn't like the rain either. Shame on you Walmart! Give your TLE employees some shelter! I discovered there are no MREs, and went looking for an ice chest. I found one I liked, and went to check out. I used a self check out, and scanned the ice chest first. As I set it down on the bagging shelf, a Walmart employee shows up and as tactfully as possible explains that she has to check the inside of the ice chest to make sure I'm not stealing anything. She was polite and professional. I am not mad at her. I know that treating your customers like thieves comes from corporate. Walmart Show Low needs more front end cashiers daily, not only on the first of the month. With 3 packed lines, 6 stations open out of a total of 16 stations is ridiculous! (I maybe wrong in the amount of front end stations) but only 6 were opened on 2/12/20 approx. 1:pm. and as usual Walmart was packed. Even people with full baskets go through the self check out, isn't the self check out suppose to be faster? Well, It is not! the line is even longer a lot of the time. There are cashier stations, two of them in the garden area and no one mans or women's them. Standing in line for 30 to 40 minutes is pain staking especially for people with special needs. Worst managed Walmart ever out of moving for 30 years in military and seeing some very rough ones in LA and Chicago. The manager is completely absent or does not care. Big blue COVID, Wear a Mask signs line the entrance fencing and exterior walls. Yet, 30 - 40% of EMPLOYEES do not wear them. Many others leave their nose uncovered or place it under their chin. They do the same when interacting with customers. One even wears a flimsy see through veil. Of course, customers follow suit and ignore masks entirely.  Beyond that, dirty and cluttered store, and it took four employees to find raisins. Please, Walmart, if this manager can't get even majority compliance from employees on mask wearing or basic cleanliness, imagine how bad the rest of the store is. read more

To start out with, I'm not really a big Walmart fan, but I must admit sometimes in a weak moment I will find myself walking into one of their stores. More times than not, I will walk out somewhat dissatisfied, whether it be for not having the item in stock, or the long wait in the checkout line, or just their indifferent attitudes. But I expect it, I'm ready for it, so I really don't get too excited. I just think, well it's your own fault, you walked in there. But what I didn't expect and was not ready for on this particular occasion was the rude, interference of their "shoppers", the people filling delivery orders. They're everywhere, racing around the store with their carts stacked high with totes, blocking aisles, their eyes darting back and forth from the orders on their phones to the shelves, pretty much oblivious to the customers doing their own personal shopping. On this particular occasion as I was going about my leisurely shopping, several of the Walmart "shoppers" practically pushed me aside and reached in front of me, eyes darting from phone to shelf, in quest of their prize. After several instances of this behavior, I commented to one of them of how rude it was. The response was unapologetically, "oh, I'm just doing my job". Really?? Well, I'm done with Walmart! I'm done food shopping there. Was there about 10:00 AM today. Food Dept shelves were empty in many areas. Stock people were all over trying to stock shelves. Stuff put on shelves is mismatched with the posted prices. Produce Dept is a shambles. This is all human error and points toward terrible management at that particular location. Their checkout process has mostly changed to do it yourself. The employees assisting self-check seem frazzled because it doesn't work well which only frustrates customers and staff. This location is terribly busy at anytime but the shopping experience just pisses people off. I guess that comes with low price but it shouldn't be that way. I left my phone in the store - probably in the canning jar area on 6/24 or 6/25. I have tried multiple time to reach the service desk but all numbers ring and then shut off. Finally I tried the Pharmacy. The only department where someone will pick up the phone - the transferred me twice. I am writing this review to see if Walmart reads these and possibly could respond as to whether they found a gold iPhone Series 7 with a gold case. I live in Mesa and will drive up to get the phone if it still there. I would leave a number, but hey, I don't have a phone. read more

If you ever have the fortune (or misfortune) of spending time in Show Low, I think WalMart is the place to be. Its where all the cool people hang out. It's a Supercenter, and there were more people in here than I have ever seen this far north in Arizona. My uncle and I stocked up on baby supplies for my drive home back to California. While in the baby aisle I managed to somehow misplace my cell phone. I must have set it down by some cute onesies or something. I was purchasing my goods when I finally noticed its absence. We retraced our steps twice and still couldn't find it. So my uncle went to stand in the customer service line while I ran outside to have my grandma, who was waiting in the car, call it for me. She called it and a woman answered and my grandma asked who she was. She told my grandma that she didn't know who's phone this was. "Where are you?" my grandma kept asking and the woman kept saying she didn't know who's phone it was. Meanwhile, back in the store, my uncle is standing in the customer service line when he sees the said woman behind the counter talking into my distinctly pink clad cell phone. He walks over and tells her it's his nieces phone that we lost. I'm so very thankful to whom ever turned it in but that employee was a complete dope. Just answer the frickin question!
