Showed up on time, figured out the issue, and told me he would order the part in the morning and come back the next day to fix it. Literally exactly what happened. No fluffs, no upselling, cleaned up after himself, was professional on the phone and in person, and just told me what to expect and that's how he delivered. Service call was $75 and it would be applied towards the repair. I knew that was fair based on cost of gas, travel time, his knowledge of appliance repair, and the time to diagnose and repair the problem.
