Let me give you a little background first. During Covid my wife lost one of the bullet shaped diamonds on her engagement ring. She must have loosened it while taking off her rubber gloves. Amazingly, she found it a short time later while she was vacuuming in the kitchen. She thought it was a piece of glass, bent down to retrieve it and lo and behold it was the bullet diamond.
Once Covid lightened up a bit and we were free to travel, we went to a local jewelry store to get a cost to have it repaired. The price was well outside of our budget at the time and we put it off.
Fast forward to four years later and we passed a what we thought was a new jewelry store on Main Street in Madison. We decided to check it out and a week later we walked in. We were met by Kate who couldn't be more lovely. After hearing what we were looking to do, she called over her husband, Eugene and we told him our story. He took the time to look things over carefully with expertise and confidence and then told us what it would cost to rebuild the section that held the bullet. He then went on to give us a cost to tighten all the settings on the ring, as well as polish it to a brilliant shine. We were amazed at the reasonable price and the turnaround time he gave us to pick up the ring.
This year marks our 25th wedding anniversary and I can't think of a better gift than the look on my wife's face when she received the ring back. The workmanship is impeccable. It looks like the ring we purchased over 25 years ago. He is truly an artist and a true craftsman. If you need work done or if you are looking to buy some of the most amazing intricate pieces I have ever seen, you need to stop and take a look around in the shop. He also will do custom pieces which are truly spectacular and one of a kind. Thanks to them both for this wonderful gift read more
