Driver did not ring doorbell or knocked on door when attempting to drop off package. As a result I didn't get this delivery. Called the 800 number and was told he'd be back in the distribution/shipping center at 7pm and Id get a call at this time and could come pick up the item...and they'd be open til 8 pm. Call never came. Nice job FedEx. That professionalism is showing. Just like the USPS- going to hell for the obvious reason. Oh, and the calls now go to the Philippines where the robots there can't answer a question if you get them off their script. Common sense with the call center employees is non existent. If I could give 0 stars I would. Delivered my package to the wrong address, took the picture of someone else's porch. Then in their investigation, I shared my picture of my porch...they still said they delivered it correctly. Useless idiots!!! read more

I am filing a complaint against FedEx. I've never had a successful delivery using FedEx. My recent delivery, which I was unable to sign off on, was sent to a FedEx shipment location where it was flagged and underwent customs because it hadn't gone through customs the first time, from what they were telling me. Okay, so I'd gone through numerous calls with FedEx customer service that transferred me about 100 times. Eventually,  I was able to get a hold of someone who had released the hold, and I was told I could come and pick it up from the FedEx shipment location, but I couldn't make it that Friday evening because it was so far from my home, and I'd already attempted to pick it up twice that same day, so I thought I'd wait until the following day. The following day, I checked the status of it, and it was back under customers. I tried calling again numerous times but haven't gotten anywhere, and this has been the worst delivery experience of my life. read more

I've had issues for the last week with FedEx delivery. They keep sending messages that my packages cannot be delivered. Vague messages and one even said they tried to deliver but noone was home. There are three of us here, noone tried delivering from FedEx but Amazon and USPS delivered that day. Now again they send me a message saying undeliverable, seriously! It's just raining and once again USPS and Amazon had no issues delivering today. I've had to go without my meds because of this. I understand problems arise but come on really. This is pretty convenient place, located right at Home Depot. For me, unless the item is packaged and ready to go for a drop off, of you need anything else I would suggest not to come here. I really had no idea what they didn't do until I asked for help. I needed pricing and to pack my items. I had a bag of scarfs from my service dog that passed away in April of 2019. I was shipping them to get made into a quilt. It seems like a hassle to give me pricing. I honestly didn't know what regular and priority was. Needless to say I got pricing only on ground and I wasent even sure if that's what it was. They have no tape to use, you have to buy it. Ultimately I went to Kinkos and had it packaged and shipped there for 24 bucks 3 day shipping ground. I will only use this place if I already have an item packaged and a label. read more

Engagement ring shipped to this location from NYC - worst shipping experience I've ever had. After paying for overnight delivery and an extra fee to specify my delivery window my package was "delayed" by a day one minute after it was scanned into the Charlotte location. Upon calling customer service, they were not able to tell me why it was delayed, but directed me to bring my ID and tracking number to the store to pick it up. I took off work early to get there and they have no idea where my package is - I stood waiting for 20 minutes while they sifted around in the back looking for what I assume was my package stuffed in a corner somewhere. When it was finally found I was told that I wouldn't be able to pick it up because my address on my ID does not match my delivery address - something I specifically asked about with customer service and was told there would be no issue with. Thankfully I had the FedEX app with my address on it or I would've been SOL. If you need to ship something valuable, or honestly anything at all, I would not trust this store with it. read more

Had a snafu with a parts delivery to my mechanic and had to chase it down. This FedEx Ship Center on Wendover were so nice and helpful! I ended up talking with the 800 number at 730ish in the morning and not too long after the lady at this Ship Center called me and let me know they had my package and I could pick it up at 8:30. When I walked in the door at 8:30 the lady immediately knew who I was and pulled my package right away. So happy that I could get this part to my mechanic quickly. I have been following the tracking info of my package and it has been sitting in the Charlotte, NC location since Sunday and today is Tuesday. Still no delivery and I'm only 19 miles away. What do they do, sit on your package until the very last possible delivery date? I worked as a courier for 35+ years and we were required to get packages to their destinations asap, but apparently Fedex doesn't care about any of that. read more

Pray to god that you don't have any issue with a shipment and actually have to go in this place. Employees are rude and very unhelpful.

I use this location a lot and am on a first name basis with several of the employees. This Fedex is infinitely better than the USPS on Wendover so I try and ship Fedex as much as possible. The longest line I have waited in was three deep and that was around Christmas. Contrast that to the USPS where the line is out the door and one very surly clerk is working. I have had zero shipping foul-ups with Fedex but numerous with the USPS. read more
