I had two large packages scheduled for delivery today. Based on the tracking update, it appears the driver took a photo from inside the vehicle--without ever attempting to approach my door--and marked the delivery as "no one home." This is simply wrong. I was home all morning, specifically waiting for this important shipment. I contacted customer service, and the operator assured me the driver would re-route and return before 1 PM. It's now approaching 3 PM, and there's still no sign of the delivery. This delay is unacceptable. Worst experience ever,they can't find your package,it's either shipped backed because they damaged it and didn't tell you or one of the many lazy employees that they have put your package in a trailer and didn't put in the computer where the package is at. Long story short, packages delivered directly in front of garage door, damaged 3x's. Called, supervisor requested set up location delivery I did. Driver retaliated and is holding 6 packages for a week and continually pushes them saying attempted delivery. How can you attempt delivery, do a drive by and see no house...you put the packages in front of the door and leave he never attempted delivery! I am a homemaker, I am home all the time, driver is too lazy to walk additional 20' to front door and do his job and deliver to front door where the delivery location was set like suggested by supervisor. I requested them to put 6 packages that were overdue (their driver from the St. Peters, MO location created this situation) be place in a delivery truck and a special delivery made like they do their overnight deliveries. FedEx ground location has made deliveries the worse. They lost one package which had insurance and when it was resent they still delivered to the wrong address. Had another ground delivery today and simply said I wasn't home. No attempt to call or anything. I told the agent it's a building how am I to know they are here. Over $500 package still haven't got. FedEx employee claims her tried to deliver for the last 2 days which is a lie. On the 1st day it was Halloween and he claimed to try to deliver it. I checked my cameras he stood at my door for less than a minute, took the package and left. Unfortunately there is no damn time frame to guess when you should be home. So I wrote a note to please leave package and signed my name. The next day says tried to deliver, I checked my cameras the truck didn't even stop, next day same thing tried to deliver truck didn't stop, didn't get out, nothing just drove all the way down the street with zero attempt to try to deliver. I've called the supervisor and was PROMISED I would get my package. It's a baby car seat which is needed. It's a very pricey car seat as well. So either the employee doesn't want to do his job or he stole the package and claims the owner wasn't home when he didn't even knock, while there's 5 cars in the driveway?!?!! So I have to make a police report since I haven't gotten my package, I have to let the company I purchased from know that the package they sent through FedEx is missing/lost/stolen I have no idea. So either they are out of money or maybe FedEx should pay the price since they are the fools who can't seem to their job. I live in a condo w 10 units. There is a door code required or you can press the unit # which will ring in the condo to notify that someone is there. I have a semi-regular delivery that requires a signature. On my fed ex profile I have this info.3 times now I have been at my condo waiting, only to get a unable to deliver/access building. Today I spoke w a guy from Fed ex customer service-ha to ensure I would get the delivery today. About an hour later I get a fed ex update unable to deliver/access bldg. called Fed Ex AGAIN. Stick with UPS. I've was home on two occasions when delivery person supposedly "attempted delivery." Since it was a Christmas gift, I asked for item to be held to avoid their "attempting" a third delivery and my son not getting his gift under tree. I was told the package would be ready by EOB on Tuesday, December 24th. When package isn't ready, I keep checking tracking number and requesting updates. Status gets updated to EOB on Thursday. I call FedEx and get excuse after excuse and the "pleasure" of speaking with a placating, condescending, you-know-what. There's absolutely no accountability or empathy. Fed Ex will never deliver to my house. The road is to rough. They have just dropped off goods somewhere else, and I have never seen my orders. This has gone on for years, and I have NEVER been able to get a solution. I cringe if I find something is coming through Fed Ex. I have had goods returned to the sender. I refuse to reorder it because I have to go to the same crap. There are times I have been able to have goods delivered to a Fed Ex Office, but that is only if I make sure who the deliverer is beforehand. As with the other review, they have said that delivery has been attempted when it hasn't. I have an order that is coming from a company headquartered in Australia, and I'm unable to get ahold of them, so we are both at the mercy of Fed Ex. read more

Like the other reviewers have said I would also give them zero stars if possible, and thanks to this experience I'll be avoiding FedEx like the plague from now on. We ordered a bunkbed along with a futon and twin mattress for it for our daughters 10th birthday, and they shipped the mattresses via UPS which we received 4 days ago but for whatever reason they shipped the bunkbed via FedEx Ground. The guaranteed delivery date was Fri 6/14 and all week long the tracking info stated "Expected delivery by 8pm Fri 6/14", but then at the last second at 7pm on Friday it changed to "Your package is running late" and the expected delivery date changed to Mon 6/17. Then around 8pm the detailed tracking showed that it left from a facility in IL (which is 3 hours away) and said it was in transit to Overland MO (which is only 15 mins from where we live), so this morning (6/18) I called FedEx to see if I could pick up the package instead of having to wait until Monday.. because we have our daughters room torn apart and have already disassembled and discarded her old bed, and since we received the mattresses on time via UPS all we're waiting for is the bunkbed which we were guaranteed to receive by yesterday.. but according to the FedEx rep they can't tell whether it has arrived yet at the Overland location and it closes at noon on Saturdays so there's nothing we can do. It left at 8pm on 6/17 in transit to Overland from 3 hours away so you'd think by noon the next day (16 hours later) it should've arrived by then, but apparently it doesn't matter either way because they're closed so now it's just going to sit in a warehouse until Monday and there's nothing we can do to get it. It's absolutely ridiculous that we're not able to give our daughter her birthday present on her birthday because 15 miles away it's just sitting there in some warehouse that is closed until Monday, and thanks to this I can guarantee as long as we can help it we will NEVER use FedEx again. read more

Ok, it is a busy season, no big deal. Well, I get the same thing on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!.. Saturday, I get the message "Customer not available"! One BIG problem with this... we had a party at our house and were home ALL DAY!! Why did they think they needed to LIE about it!! It is now Monday, 12/3/18 and I am still waiting for my package which has been on a truck for a WEEK! If I could give them a zero I would. I ordered an item from Sam's Club on November 10. It was scheduled to be delivered on November 14. I got notification from FedEx that the item originating from Texas,would be delayed until the 19th due to weather. The 18th received another notification that the item would be delivered on 11/20. In the mean time I'm tracking the package. It has gone from Texas to St Louis, back to Texas then to Kansas City, back to Texas. Finally received my package on Friday 11/23. When the delivery man leaned the package against my house.....he barely knocked to let me know it was there. When I opened the door I seen why. The box was torn to pieces, the product was hanging out of the package and damaged. Needless to say, I had to return the item to Sam's. Luckily they had 1 more of the item. But I had to pay additional taxes, besides the gas and time to drive there. To say I'm deeply disappointed in FedEx is an understatement!
