I've only visited the store once, but had such a positive experience with my menial task that I felt moved to throw a positive review out there for the fine folks at this outpost of the shipping giant.
The only thing I needed to do was laminate two sheets of paper, and hole punch them. When I dropped that request on the young lady who promptly asked to assist me upon entering the building, she escorted me over to the laminating machine and gave me a thorough and simple-to-understand tutorial on how to successfully produce my aforementioned product.
After completing my task, another young lady expeditiously offered to check me out. When doing so, I asked for a hole punch. After searching the entire store, she was unable to procure a punch, so she proceeded to open a fresh one from the sales rack, claiming that they need to have such a thing at the ready, as it's often requested by customers.
I was impressed with her diligence, resourcefulness and ownership of doing the right thing, albeit a very small thing, for the customer. If tipping was allowed, I would have.
It's not very often that you walk into a place and receive above-and-beyond attention and assistance from multiple people, as was the case at this store. In most cases, a lazy, unmotivated worker would have simply pointed me to the laminating machine and expected me to figure it out on my own, and then sent me on my way, sans-hole punches, as they no doubt would not have put 1/10 the effort into tracking down the tool. Color me impressed, and a new loyal customer for all my future document, office and shipping needs. read more
