Best burritos in the entire country!! I have been a long time lover of Mexican food and travel the country often. without a doubt, their green chili burrito is the best. I've never had to drink a burrito before but this was religious. I went once 8 years ago and today it was still as magnificent as ever. Thank you, and I will be coming back again read more

Well Yelpers, here's another one.. I was hungry again but had to use the bathroom and this was the stop..lol so because the restrooms were for public use only. I'd figured I would try them out. Since I did use the bathroom..lol I ordered the Carne Asada Torta to go. Got to love me a good tasty torta(lol)... And I may add, it wasn't to bad but I felt that it was a diet torta..lol I've had bigger torta's than this for the same price but besides that. It was delicious. Good customer service. Fast and friendly..very clean establishment and they're doing an outside remodel that's looking pretty nice. If you happen to swing by and need a bathroom break and a quick bite to eat..check out Federico's Mexican Food. -Keep Yelping Yelper's- read more

Just ate here for lunch and loved the burrito special and taco special they have! I ordered a chicken burrito and beef taco. The burrito was hefty and filled with rice and chicken, the taco was fried and had shredded beef (not ground) which was unexpected. Good flavor and value. Will return again to explore more of the menu. PS try the salsa bar ;) read more

I wouldn't give this place any stars! First the lady working the drive thru in many occasions has been nothing but rude, they really need to send them to customer service classes or something. Second You ask them for 4 salsa which keep in mind they are tiny little containers and she tells me I can only give you 3 when other times a man gives me what I ask and he's super nice but this lady is the rudest and will argue with you and call you a bitch! I will never go back to this place and even so because the food is not that great either to be putting up with this kind of bad service. read more

I have been coming to this specific location for about a year now and finally decided to leave a review. I tried the Pollo Asada Fries on a whim, and became completely obsessed. Only problem is, they aren't the same at every location. I now have to drive past at least 2 locations just to get to this one for their specific Pollo Asada fries. Highly recommended from this location only!!!! read more

When I first moved here it was a Mic-Nics which is no more. A few years back Federico's acquired the property and cleaned it up and painted it a bit brighter. This location is open 24 hours but the dining room closes from 1-5AM. It's a chain that started in New Mexico and expanded to Arizona at some point in time. They already had a presence here in 93 and was my first introduction to 24 hour taco shops. I haven't been to one in a while for no particular reason, except maybe they were not in my path when I wanted Mexican. Having expanded here from New Mexico instead of the San Diego area like Filberto's and their many copy cats there are some differences in how identical menu items are prepared. I had my standard plate of shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with beans and rice ($5.79) and a med fountain drink ($1.49). First thing I noticed was there was no grease in the taco. That may have been part of the slight flavor difference. Also the cheese enchilada was made with a corn tortilla instead of the more common flour. I thought they were a bit stingy with the cheese on both items, but I like lots of cheese on almost anything. In general everything was clean and while I was there the tables were cleaned off and the salsa station was checked and neatened up. This was a Wednesday lunch and three tables were in use and a few take out orders handled. Only one person spoke English, and then only just enough to get his job done. read more

I can honestly say this place has saved the day more times than I can count on my Fingers. We always want food when nothing is open and Federico's always comes through. The food is always amazing. We love the carne Asada fries and I always get the enchiladas. We bring so many people to this place and I have not once heard a negative thing about anything on the menu read more

This is my go to spot for any taco or burrito fix. The bean and cheese burrito is a family favorite follow by carne asada and fries. The shredded beef tacos are restaurant worthy. A surprise spot that offers great hot wings as well. read more

I've lived nearby now for almost two years and this is my SPOT. The food is always fresh and consistent, they don't roll their eyes at me when I ask for way too much salsa, and they're always super friendly. My go to's are the Mon/Tues/Wed crunchy beef tacos special for $1.50, the Carne Asada fries (so much food!), and the Arizona burrito (so delicious). Really love this place! read more

Another place that goes downhill. This place has gone down from 5 stars to 1 star. Food quality is not the same anymore. Dried overcooked meats is just a no no. It seems they keep everything precooked in the fridge and just heat it up. Not the same quality from 10 months ago. Seems they have tried to save money and its costing them points on the taste department. And the service...JUST HORRIBLE. Crancky ladies taking orders. Give you attitude and make you hesitate to ask for something. That itself makes this a 1 star. Bring back the quality and employees from before!! read more

Awesome food! Can't go wrong with the bean burrito!

Looked for a Mexican joint after going to the drive in. Food is pretty bomb! Got their carne Sada fries and their mixed burrito. AmAzing!!

It was Wednesday night around 11:00 pm I came through the drive through after a day of work and put in my order, the lady who attended us sounded rude since the beginning. A middle aged Hispanic women was attending us, we came thro go the window and no good customer service was applied when she attended us. While gossiping on her cell phone and no direct word to us she took my payment. It took quite a few minutes to get our order out and on top of that the meat on my carne asas fries was super cold and the fries were over cooked. A big no no! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Federico's has bad service. If you want to change something on your meal, they don't care. They treated us poorly. We ordered Carne Asada fries. They put guacamole and sour cream on our fries. We asked if we could get new fries without sour cream and guacamole. They said they won't exchange it. We couldn't eat the fries. We had to throw them away. My father spent $16 for fries we didn't even get to eat or try. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!!!!;! read more

Went here the other night at 1:20am they close @ 2am and the sign said open so i pulled up to the drive through and waited a couple mins know one answered so pulled up to the window I could see the workers ignoring me so i drove around to the speaker again still no answer. Iam very pregnant and was really hungry and didnt want to drive any further so proceeded to go back to the window finallya middle aged mexican lady opened the drive through and said "What do you want?" In the rudest way and gave me the worst look possible. No hello, no thank you, or have a goodnight just total unpleasantness. Theyre food is decent and there "open late" but ill never go back for that type of wouldnt even call it service again. read more

I love this place. Totally wouldn't think to go here if you drove past. But the food is amazing and the folks are very nice. Great Mexican fair and even has a good selection with seafood. I recommend the shrimp and steak quesadilla. They also have a good selection of deserts and drinks. I should have posted this review months ago, but was properly motivated today, when Edward B, the bad review below me, had a complete childish meltdown in the store. He cursed at the staff and threw his full drink at the wall, which exploded everywhere. All because his order had Guac and sour cream on it.... zero class... good example set for your kids. The staff handled the situation well. Please visit this place. You will not be disappointed. read more

I was there last week. Used my credit card and was charged $0.50 more than the correct amount. This is the second time this has happened. $0.50 might not be a lot of money, but it's deceitful to purposely add this amount to the total bill. read more

I came here once before and it went smooth and it was good. I had my boyfriend go and get us something through the drive thru. For whatever reason they decided to put someone who doesn't speak very good English on the drive thru. He ordered a carne asada quasadilla and adobada tacos she didn't repeat the order to him or tell him how much it was. And of course she completely messed the order up. yes my boyfriend should have said something when he went up to the window and they said 39. But he didn't we got three chimichanga meals and the quesadilla. I went back to correct it and there was a boy at the counter who help out then some girl and then the drive thru lady. The boy and girl didn't recall the order and the drive thru lady said she repeated it three times which she did not. They did correct it and the one girl got a little stuck up and said next time we won't give you your money back, like I do this all the time and plan to do it again. Then she tried to say that they all heard my boyfriend say it was correct order. Then they were making smart remarks about anyone want chimichangas in Spanish like I didn't understand them. It was rude and very unprofessional. I wasn't rude to them or loud so they didn't have to get snotty when they are the ones that made the mistake! Won't ever go back there. read more

I've been going to this Federico's since 2004, up until today...First I was waiting to place my order for about 3-4 minutes. Placed my order and went to pick up window, they had me waiting for 15 minutes without even acknowledging me finally get my order, start driving home checked my order and there was an item missing. Had to drive back, went inside, again waited at the window for about a minute before anyone spoke to me. One of the cooks went to the window, I gave her the bag with the order and told her I wanted my money back because I was not going to wait another 15 minutes for one item. She just took my receipt and addressed someone else. "Rene" (according to him, the manager) asked what I wanted I repeated the same thing I had told the cook, he then proceeded to open the register and gave me a buck and some change, I then told him that I was returning the order and I wanted a full refund, he said "No, because they had already made the food" I told him that I didn't want it because it was not complete and I wasn't going to wait 15 more minutes for one item and that the food was going to get even colder, he again said "No" I told him that I had been going there for years and he said "Yeah, I know who you are" Not once had I ever seen this man in my life. I asked to speak to the manager, he said it was him, I asked for the owners information and he reluctantly gave me a phone number and name. Half an hour wasted of my life and needless to say after all this rudeness and nonsense I lost my appetite. So disappointed up until now excellent food and even better service. read more
