Without it, I'm very emotionally impulsive, struggle to care for my hygiene, I can get myself in dangerous situations, and I can't sleep for more than a few hours. I didn't receive ANY medication for this nor any alternative medication for my entire stay there and it was absolutely awful. I verbally requested mental health multiple times, I formally requested sick day twice, and I told multiple deputies about this many times over the span of the 4 days I was there - but NOTHING was done until just hours before my release, where they let me talk to a psychiatrist. To me this is an absolutely unacceptable and disgusting way to treat a human being. Adding to that, the food is never enough and the schedule is so insane (6am, breakfast, 11am lunch, and 4pm dinner) I went to bed every night extremely hungry. When you do get to eat, they don't give you enough time whatsoever to eat - you get 10 minutes tops to get your food, sit down, and eat as fast as you can before they start flashing the lights. It's not healthy for a human being. I felt like a starved dog. I had to save my unfinished food and hide it in my room so I wouldn't have to go hungry. The quality of the food is horrible too - they gave us "gravy" which is like a slightly liquidy clear jello with pieces of ground beef in it. The potatoes are clearly old - they had black spots all over them. And not to mention literally almost everything else is full of fillers and preservatives. The deputies attitudes add to the total inhumane conditions of the place, they treat you like a nuisance for anything - I was yelled at for simply asking 2 questions about how the cell door worked because it was my first time there. "DONT ASK QUESTIONS!". I never gave the deputies a lick of attitude but was still treated like a piece of garbage. I would ask them any question and instead of answering simply and directly they would give me an ugly look and say something really sarcastic or rude. No matter how you phrase anything or how nice you are, they treat you like a worthless piece of shit. They're also incredibly lazy - i called for a deputy a few different times and they would make hand signals at me from their office that made no sense and then get up begrudgingly and snap at me because they didn't want to get up to talk to me. And, the holding cell I was in for 5 hours was FREEZING cold, and the most they would give me was 2 t shirts, denied me a sweater. I had to bundle up in a fetal position on the disgusting bench, my arms tucked into my shirt and my nails & feet turned grey/blue. I hope this place either gets shut down or has a major reform. These conditions are extremely inhumane and something needs to happen immediately. I feel sorry for the people who have to endure this long term.

We had escaped to the coast for the weekend, and spent Sunday night in Dublin so we decided to chill in a local library for part of the day on Monday before heading home. This is a REALLY nice library. I'm easily impressed by nicer public buildings. Our collective tax dollars at work, lol. In any case, this must be a newer building, but according to the City of Dublin, the original library "opened on May 21, 1914, in a small general store at Dublin Boulevard and Donlon Way. Over the decades, it expanded through various community locations before moving to its current 38,100-square-foot modern facility at the Dublin Civic Center in April 2003." So the current location is still over 20 years old, but you wouldn't think so by the looks of it, everything looked very new and well-kept. The lobby is big and welcoming w/library holds and an info-desk with friendly staff. Then there's a whole bunch of larger tables that sit 6-8 people each for reading and a couple rows of computers you can reserve even as a guest. The rest of the left side of the library are adult stacks of all genre, and the right side of the library, taking up almost 1/2 of the whole place was for the kids! It really was a big area w/a story-time reading and play cove towards the back, and then a bunch of shorter bookshelves filled with children's books and then several kids computers towards the children's librarian's desk. I'm glad I got to visit and hang out here for several hours and we even stayed and watched a couple of kids movies in the community room and my kids and I had a great time escaping reality at the library, haha.

Pros: - It keeps its facility cool on the very hot days. - Parking is under solar panels that keep the vehicles cool. Nice that they're also generating energy. - Lots of books to stay entertained with knowledge. - this library is huge and has so many areas to sit and read, study, get work done etc. Cons: - Wi-Fi connection is very spotty at best. Not sure if that's the case often and an ongoing problem or if it's just bc of the heat maybe affecting the Wi-Fi. - not open on Fridays. All in all, a really big, well built and nicely maintained library that surely serves the community well.

He used racially charged and vulgar language toward her, repeatedly called her "stupid," and referred to her using profane and derogatory terms, including the "B-word." He assumed she was driving illegally without any basis and attempted to intimidate her by loudly identifying himself as a police officer, clapping his hands aggressively, and escalating the situation. A woman who identified herself as his girlfriend and who stated she was also an officer from Danville who was also off duty, arrived on the scene and was witnessed telling Officer Williams to calm down due to his erratic behavior. They both later provided false information to CHP about who was at fault for the accident. After researching we could only find her last name has the letters BAN in it. This kind of conduct is unacceptable, especially from someone entrusted with upholding the law. Officer Williams' actions were not only unprofessional but dangerous and discriminatory. Behavior like this undermines public trust and raises serious concerns about his fitness to serve as a law enforcement officer
