It was just about 5 minutes prior to closing on a Sunday night and there were still people inside enjoying their ice cream. The staff didn't rush us at all when we were browsing the store and deciding which flavor to get and even offered tastings. There are a few countertop seats inside and a few tables outside to enjoy the ice cream. Stuzzi offers signature chocolate crafted in a family tradition passed down over 3 decades, artisanal gelato, coffee and espresso drinks, and candy. There were many flavors of gelato that I wanted to get. I decided on a small cup of the Oreo for $5.00. It was very rich and creamy with chunks of oreos. My husband got a small cup of the Dubai chocolate and he enjoyed it as well. We also get to choose a piece of chocolate which was a nice surprise. It was a great sweet way to end the night.

The girl working there suggested the apple cinnamon donut. An absolute winner!!! The stuffed chocolate chip cookie will last a few days because a little piece of it will satisfy your sweet tooth. The Lillys Buffalo Caulifllower Hummus (again recommended from the girl who worked there) was another winner. I used to bathe in hummus, now that I try to eat low carb, I no longer eat that. Well welcome cauliflower creamy and silky hummus. How is cauliflower silky......I don't know! They allowed us to drop off the toppers just days before the party, even though they were clearly very busy. Their flexibility and attention to detail made the entire process stress-free. The cake itself was delicious, and the design was a total hit! We did have some leftover cake after the party and I repeatedly indulged myself in carving off small slices for snacks over the next few days! I highly recommend them for high-quality, custom cakes.

We love strawberry shortcake but I hate chunky fruit so Keegan was able to swap out strawberry mousse to achieve a flavor and texture I liked. The cake had intricate details which were very similar to a design I sent for inspiration. I was a little confused upon pickup because I sent 3 inspiration photos, and the inspiration picture I sent and was told was achievable was not what we received, however the design was actually closer to one of the other inspiration photos. The cake was very pretty and intricately designed. The texture of the cake was very nice and moist and the mousse had a light strawberry flavor which complimented it well. I will say our two complaints are that the frosting tastes like straight shortening. I expected more of a whipped cream or buttercream flavor. It's also a very thick layer that does kind of steer you away from eating it where it doesn't taste very good and leaves our mouth feeling a bit greasy. Second, the green color is a weird pea green (somewhere between yellow and green), not sage green, but again, the cake was still beautiful and received many compliments. Overall, I would maybe return in the future. This cake cos about $110. I also make cakes myself as a side business, so I found the pricing fair, however was somewhat dissatisfied with the fact that we don't really enjoy eating the frosting which is usually my favorite part. The only way I would purchase another custom cake in the future is if I maybe tasted frostings prior to committing given the cost.
