So grateful I found this place. I highly recommend Feather & Leaf. Jessica is caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I had never received acupuncture or cupping prior to coming here. I was suffering for 6 months with muscle tension resulting in constant pain/pressure in my temples. After months of extensive tests and scans at the doctor, everything was coming back normal, which was great, but I was still left with no conclusion or relief. So, I thought I would try acupuncture. I found Feather & Leaf here on Yelp and decided to try it. After only 2 sessions one week apart, the pain/pressure subsided almost completely. Now, it's been almost 3 months and I come about every 3 weeks for maintenance care to relax my tight muscles and keep the pain/pressure away. I absolutely love it. I was nervous for my first appointment as acupuncture was very new to me and I wasn't sure what to expect. During my first session, Jessica and I discussed what brought me in, my lifestyle, stress, my occupation, recent life events, and overall health. This immediately assured me that Jessica was thorough in her approach to customizing my treatment, which was important to me. Then she explained how acupuncture and cupping works, which was also very helpful and reassuring. One thing I really like is that she places a "help" button in your hand during the duration of your treatment so that you can alert her if you need assistance, which is comforting especially at my first appointment where I was nervous. Before every appointment, she asks how you're feeling both emotionally and physically, which again, makes you feel like she genuinely cares about each individual and providing you with the best treatment. There have been a couple of sessions where I was already feeling tired and low-energy, so I asked if we could do a "lighter" session, and she was able to accommodate me so perfectly. I left feeling the perfect amount of relaxed. It's so important to receive care from a professional who actually listens to you. Another thing I really like about Feather & Leaf is that they don't try to sell you any products. Most places you go for treatments always try to send you home with $20+ worth of products, which tends to turn me off. I understand that these are businesses and there can be a necessity to sell product, but for me, it can feel pushy. I love coming here and not worrying about saying no to a product. So, overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about Jessica and Feather & Leaf. Jessica is amazing! I went to see her after I pulled a lower back muscle. I was in excruciating pain I was unable to walk or move much, I could not get out of the car and Jessica helped me get out of the car letting me know what I can do to help my pain. She was able to take me in that same morning and was very thoughtful through out all my pain. She did acupuncture and cupping to alleviate my pain.
