My husband and I hired James to photograph our wedding in January 2010. We wanted some staged and some reportage photographs of our day, both indoors and out, but other than that didn't have much of a brief to give him as we're both rather camera-shy. On the day James arrived promptly and he was just such fun! His way of making me feel at ease with the camera was fantastic too, he just ensured me that I wouldn't see any bad photographs then just continued snapping away at me until I had no choice to laugh, relax and get on with my wonderful day. Oddly, after the getting ready shots, I hardly noticed James' presence at all; he was a bit like a ghost! I actually remember thinking where has James gone and then looked up and saw him capturing me from the window outside! Above all, the photographs we received were simply staggering and world class according to my mother. They all had a look of being totally modern yet timeless, I have no idea how he did it, but they're magic. We are expecting our first baby soon and have already booked James - a very talented man. read more
