Brad did a GREAT job socializing my pup and helping him be confident in all kinds of situations. Mo was always the biggest sweetheart, but he lacked confidence in situations outside our house. He loved working with Brad (and I enjoyed it too) and he became more outgoing, eager to explore and learn after a few weeks of Brad's training. I credit Brad with helping bring out his good character. Brad is hands-on, great with getting dogs engaged, figuring out what's going on in their heads, and helping them get past their own fears and stuck patterns. I'd definitely bring him on board to give your puppy a great start in life.  Brad's methods are 100% positive - I NEVER saw him use any negative or aversive methods with Mo. He also has created an online training course for his clients that has a ton of good information about how to work with dogs so that they understand what you're asking for. I've learned a lot about how to communicate more clearly and consistently with my dog and I've got a lot of tools to use when I train him now. Learning fun things to do with Mo - some things I hadn't even thought of as "training" like teaching him nose work and a reliable "drop it" when he fetches a ball - engage his mind and improve our communication and relationship. Mo is thriving and I know I can turn to Brad for help to resolve any issues that might arise as he grows older! read more

Fearless Dogs - Mo - Pet Training Near Me

Brad was recommended to me by a behavioral vet, and helped me work on my puppy's separation anxiety and other behaviors. He also helped me lessen my other dog's demand barking. There are many things that make Brad great at what he does! The bottom line is that he's adept at teaching owners positive methods to change many types of unwanted dog behavior, and helping people and their dogs to develop happier and deeper relationships. And, he's always a pleasure to work with! read more

I was so desperate for help with managing some of my French Bulldog, Walton's, behaviors, so my vet recommended me to Brad. From the start, my fiance and I felt completely comfortable, and it was clear that he truly understood our dog's needs. Brad worked so well with our dog (our dog loves him!), and we've already seen significant improvements in his behavior. His recall has improved so much and we've learned different ways to redirect his crazy energy! Communication was easy, and we really appreciated the helpful insights provided throughout the process. His approach to training is refreshing and very positive! We highly recommend him to everyone! read more

Brad was fantastic to work with. With my 3 year old GSD, we went back to basics with loose leash walking and functional commands and worked up to more complex training. My dog's biggest issue is reactivity and resource guarding and we made lots of progress with Brad's positive reinforcement training. Brad gave me the confidence to train my dog and continue to work with him at home. It has strengthened my relationship with my dog too! And my dog absolutely loved Brad. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dedicated trainer with years of experience. read more

Before working with Brad, my dog was dealing with horrible leash reactivity, so much so that I couldn't even go on walks. Although not 100% gone, my dog's reactivity has significantly improved compared to where I started. Brad has so much knowledge and my dog responded really well to his positive reinforcement methods. He equipped us with the proper training methods and tricks to help manage my dog's reactivity. On top of this, Brad also taught us loose leash walking in just a week (and my dog still adheres to this a year later!), obedience tricks, and has such better engagement with me. I highly recommend working with him if you are looking for a great trainer! read more

Brad helped me with a very challenging greyhound. She was incredibly loving yet fearful and aggressive towards those she mistrusted--which was almost everyone. He taught me how to help her build her confidence and keep her motivated. These sessions helped turn her into a dog who became friendly and curious towards strangers. She actively sought out pets from my friends after implementing all the tips and tricks I learned. I highly recommend working with Brad. His approach is focused, kind, and positive. read more

When I reached out to Brad for help, I felt like I was stuck in a power struggle with my dog, Romeo. I was feeling frustrated and fearful that he would pull me down on walks. Brad understood my greyhound's behavior and personality very well and he also watched what I was doing incorrectly and how I was confusing my dog. Brad is a wonderful teacher and helps you understand your dog's behavior. He is a highly perceptive and skilled trainer and is very patient and supportive. I quickly learned what was best to do and what worked. The training with Brad was really helpful in creating a solid relationship with Romeo and taught me to shift my focus and work with him as a team in a fun way. Our walks became much more enjoyable and I felt confident walking him in the city. I highly recommend Brad! Linda B read more

Brad did an amazing job helping me with my dog Pippa (terrier mix). I came to Brad with a handful of separate issues: pulling on walks, leash reactivity toward both squirrels and other dogs, separation anxiety, and nail trimming, to name a few. Incredibly, I was satisfied with Pippa's progress in all of these areas before we even completed our 8 sessions. I also feel confident that I will know how to work more effectively with other dogs in the future by simply applying the understanding I've gained by working with Brad. I would highly recommend his services to anyone else looking to improve their relationship with their dog. read more

I will definitely refer Brad to other pet owners. He makes a lot of effort to observe and understand pet behavior along with the owners needs. My 2 yr Labrador became defensive and at times aggressive after a trainer recommended I Use a prong to train him. We removed it after I met Brad. we used positive reinforcement to train him. After 3 months of 1-1 in person training Romeo plays well with other dogs, his recall is 90% there and I've learned to handle him. it's a work in progress but the change is a huge progress. We continue to work with Brad so I can continue to build a good relationship with Romeo. Also, Romeo loves Brad which is a good sign. read more

I got more than I bargained for with my rescue pup. He is an anxious dog, scared of everything. Brad has been incredible teaching me how to handle him and build his confidence. It is great to see our dog come out of his shell & enjoying life. We would not have made such progress without Brad's help. I would recommend Brad to anyone who needs help training their dog. read more

Brad is really great at what he does. We hired him to help us work through some reactivity with our dog and the changes we've seen have been priceless. Our dog (and us as owners) are able to enjoy nearly all of our walks without reactions. I woul recommend Brad to anyone! read more

I am so grateful to Brad for the work he's doing with us and Rudy (us mostly, to be honest! )! Rudy came to us as a rescue, young adult, and I was getting anxious during walks because he would freeze a lot. After meeting with Brad and working with him, we now have a set of tools we can use to get "unstuck", and to prevent freezing in the first place. He is a different boy already, and hopefully we are better dog parents. Or at least working on that! read more

I adopted a retired racing greyhound who was extremely and uncharacteristically aggressive toward other dogs, to the point that I had stopped taking her for walks or out in public. This situation broke my heart, but I had almost resigned myself that this was our fate, because I could not find a local trainer who would work with aggression issues using positive reinforcement. (The only trainer I found who would deal with aggression used shock collars, which I was unwilling to do.) I got Brad's name from a member of our local Greyhound adoption group and worked with him over Zoom. Brad's expertise with dogs in general and knowledge of greyhounds in particular helped teach us to trust each other and gave my dog more confidence - so much so that we are now able to go on co-walks with other dogs! Prior to working with Brad, she would growl, snarl and lunge for the throat of every dog we encountered. This is a sea change for us. Thank you, Brad, for giving me back my dog!!! read more

My wife and I adopted a retired racer greyhound and had Brad Greene help us with her initial training and some behavior modifications. Even though we live in San Diego, we found the zoom call with him easy to use and natural. Brad has owned a couple greyhounds and I highly recommend him if you adopt or foster one. Brad is knowledgeable, kind, positive, and patient. We saw fast results with our dog. Our favorite aspect of his program is that he does DAILY updates to our training schedule-- so everyday we enter what training we did with our dog, and he leaves a comment. For us, this was a great way to held accountable through the week and it was an amazing deal to get tips and tricks from Brad while we weren't "on the clock." read more

Fearless Dogs - Our well-trained greyhound! - Pet Training Near Me

Brad is fantastic. Not going to lie - I never actually worked with him BUT I emailed him about possibly starting training with him soon and then bailed later that day realizing I couldn't afford one-on-one training sessions. But he was so generous and suggested that I look at YouTube videos as an alternative. I'm sure he would have been great and I feel bad I didn't get to work with him. In short - clearly a caring organization with caring people. read more

Brad truly cares about the dogs and families that he works with. He helped us understand a lot about our dog's behavior and how we could work to alleviate her fears through training conditioning. He has always been extremely flexible and accommodating with scheduling and location. In addition to personalized training, Brad has provided us with a tailored plan for our pup and he has had great follow up. You are in great hands with Brad from Fearless Dogs! We certainly recommend him and his positive training techniques. read more

Brad's easy yet professional demeanor connects with owners and dogs equally. Our 96 pound greyhound was very territorial and protective, showing aggression towards other dogs. Brad taught us how to read his behavior, find out why he's reactive and we were able to teach our hound to focus on us when other dogs are around. Our walks are now enjoyable and stress free. We can not recommend him enough! read more

We connected with Brad to help work with our girl Gretel, and it has been a really great experience... Gretel has been very responsive both in person with Brad and when we are working with her alone. He has many tools, tips and wisdoms to impart, but almost more importantly is the time he takes to hear your grey's story and what a typical day in your household is like in order to customize the exercises such that they fit your unique family's needs. After the sessions Brad will continue to provide support and check in via phone and text as well. Highly recommend! read more

Finding Brad was a miracle. With Dog Hiking Adventures my dog is getting great exercise, socialization with other dogs, and everything is in various beautiful fresh air environment. After hike my dog looks both tired and happy. She is literally smiling after getting home and cuddling in her bed. Brad is very flexible, kind and professional person. He also makes cool pictures while on a walk with pups, which makes me want to go hiking there! I totally recommend Dog Hiking Adventures! read more

Wish I could give more stars! Brad is awesome! He made me and my dog feel comfortable, he was extremely patient, explained everything in detail, and even gave us follow up homework to do together. I highly reccomend Brad whether its puppy training, rescue work (like us), or if you just want to learn something new. Thanks for everything Brad! We couldn't of done it without you! read more

Brad has worked with me and my greyhound, Cora. She is proof that Brad's workshops and training work. Cora would whine at the sight of a dog from across the street and if we got near a dog there would be no way of regaining her attention. She would be fixated on the dog and not even a treat would stop it. She would growl when other dogs tried to greet her and would give owners a bad first impression of her. She is actually the sweetest dog towards humans and is extremely playful. Brad helped us with the stepping stones to help Cora feel that new dogs are actually okay! He helped us learn new tricks to distract her in situations where we couldn't avoid close contact with another dog. It then took a lot of our own efforts to make sure she progressed. Every single walk we worked on the skills Brad taught us. I am so proud to say that Cora can now look at me with eye contact at the sight of a new dog, this is when she earns a treat. She would much rather earn a treat than be fixated on other dogs and with slow introductions, wont growl with a new dog! Brad is extremely knowledgeable and can help you with any less than perfect qualities about your canine companion. read more

Brad is awesome. Camille loves him and looks forward to the doggie hikes every week.

Finding Dog Hiking Adventures for my high energy dog was a godsend. I usually have to plan out how I'm going to tire out my pup each day, and these mid day hikes give my dog better exercise than doggie daycares and still socialize him with other dogs. read more

Dog Hiking Adventures is wonderful for my energetic greyhound. She always comes back exhausted and happy, which is very hard to do! I love that she not only gets all her energy out, but she also gets to hang out with other friendly dogs! Brad is incredibly trustworthy and nice (not just anyone can handle a greyhound). He also sends photos of all the dogs on their hike (which I love) and a map of where they went hiking. Dog Hiking Adventures is a great addition to my hounds exercise routine and a great way for her to socialize with other dogs. read more

Brad is awesome! I was so happy to find Dog Hiking Adventures. We have been working with Brad on and off for about two years now. I love that my dog gets out into nature and gets to socialize with other dogs in a small group. I completely trust Brad with my pup and he is a great source of information about dogs and dog training. My dog always comes home happy and tired! This is the best alternative to standard daycare where your dog might not get any attention, or a regular dog walker who takes your dog out to do her business and not much more. He also takes great pics of the dogs on the hikes! Highly recommended. Thanks Brad! read more

I was searching for a trainer to help me with one of our Beagles we had recently rescued. Olive is a love but on a leash she was Cujo! Came across Fearless Dogs and gave Brad a call. The best phone call I ever made! He was full of information to help me help Olive. Always on time, worked with Olive with positive training, and as time went on with consistent training our sweet Beagle began to respond positively. I now feel confident when I walk her instead of worried about seeing other dogs. Olive is much better and I'm sure if she could speak she would thank Brad!!!! If your looking for a trainer and want the best, give Brad a call. You and your dog will not regret it!!! read more
