Lana, my 3 1/2 year-old lab mix, a foster fail that I took in as a 2 yr old, was getting bigger and stronger, jumps on anybody that comes in the door etc. She's a sweetheart, but I needed to be able to mange her energy and size My other two dogs are small and this is the biggest dog I've had. I knew going into this training that it was me that needed most of the training! Steve explained that I needed to learn how to communicate with my dogs, that they communicate differently. What an eye-opener! Everything he explained made sense and in just the few hours we spent together, Lana was already following the cues that Steve taught me. Consistency and repetition is key. We are just 2 weeks in and the process is going great! Steve was absolutely terrific to work with. Somehow, he makes the whole process easy and effortless. His follow up calls to check in are much appreciated and he's available for questions that might come up. I'm so glad I made the call and was able to work with Steve.

Steve is THE BEST dog trainer and I highly recommend him.

All I can say is wow. After years of struggling with leash reactivity, bringing Ziggy here has been life-changing. He's truly a different dog. He now walks in a beautiful heel through crowded areas, stays calm around other dogs, and can even ignore dogs that run up behind him, something I never thought would be possible. The biggest gift has been seeing him able to simply coexist without feeling stressed, anxious, or frustrated. It's been such a breath of fresh air for both of us. I can't thank Jen and her team enough for everything they've done. Their knowledge, dedication, and care have completely transformed Ziggy's confidence and our daily life together. At around three or four months old, he began exhibiting both separation anxiety and serious reactivity. We knew he was a sweet dog, but his behavior made it impossible to convince others of his sweet nature. After the first trainer, proved an epic failure We began to think that we would have to return him to the shelter. He was utterly unmanageable and getting bigger each passing day We knew returning him would most likely result in him being put to sleep. His reactivity would've barred him from adoption. We absolutely could not allow that to happen. My wife happened upon Freakin Pawsome's website and the outstanding things people had to say about Will. We reached out to Will and he agreed to meet with Mischief At Will's first meeting with Mischief Mischief did his very best Cujo impersonation. I was sincerely worried Will would refuse to train him. I was surprised when Will agreed to take on our challenged Shepherd puppy and very grateful. Once Will introduced himself to Mischief Mischief took to Will immediately in less than 10 minutes. Mischief was taking basic commands from Will and I knew that we had found the right trainer. Over the next four months, I witnessed a total metamorphosis in Mischief. Will very patiently inconsistently guided Mischief to being a truly happy dog! As Will thoughtfully, patiently guided Mischief to being a good dog, He taught an even more important lesson to myself and my wife on how to be good dog parents. Will has given us the tools to continue to expand Mischief's development and Will's expertise has paid off on so many levels. Will quite literally save mischief life and allowed him to become a happy well adjusted family companion. He is also given our whole family a peace we did not believe possible, given Mischief's anxiety, and behaviors before We met Will. We want everyone to know that separation anxiety and reactivity can be overcome. Will has proven it beyond any shadow of a doubt. Mischief is a true testament to Will's expertise. Freakin Pawsome is exemplary in their methods And if you are consistent with the training and the daily implementation of the training, you will have the dog you desire. Thank you, Will you have our deepest gratitude

But in the past several months he began odd behavior. He began growling, particularly in the evenings, often at nothing. Just walking around. Sometimes, if he heard a noise upstairs. If our other dog came to the stairs, he would growl. If my son or daughter came down the stairs, he would get up on his hind legs and put his feet on them, bare his teeth and growl. And of course, like many small dogs, the barking. In excitement when people came over, and in response to every sound. We met with Vivianne and she was amazing! She taught us some games to play with Pepper to build his confidence. She also taught us many different techniques to manage his behaviors. Over time the growling and the aggression have stopped. We have learned his triggers, and how to avoid them, and how to redirect him. Friends and family are impressed with how quiet he is when they come over to visit!
