We had to walk through a muddy trail, which trashed my shoes. When you leave the main haunt, we had to wait in line to exit, they never told us the wait was for one of the other attractions. The actors did a good job staying in character, but It was overall pretty disappointing. I had 2 jump scares in the whole thing. The fact that you no longer go through the house is a bummer. It is all outside. It used to be a fun place to go, but I won't go back again after that experience.

It started to lose momentum and there weren't as many actors toward the end, which made it feel a little empty in spots. The owners (Sonny & Kathy) are genuinely down to earth individuals, who believe in the paranormal absolute. First Kathy gives you a tour and talks about events from the past and present, then hands to tour over to Sonny who gives you a tutorial on ghost hunting and using the tech. Then they both turn the house over to you, which I didn't want them to leave at that point. You don't have to be paranormal investigators to stay; which is great for us average even skeptical people. Most importantly... they DO NOT trick the house out to scare people. The house itself has so much history that if you don't experience any type of paranormal activity, the history alone is absolutely amazing to learn about. Suicides, accidental deaths, even (and apparently quite a few) murders have happened on the premises. The owners have done so much research and provide documentation to back-up the history they share with you. See their website or Facebook page for details on the paranormal activity happenings and the historical events which took place. So, if you are interested in getting a chance to do your own paranormal investigations... this is the place to start! We loved it so much we are going back for 2 nights in upcoming November 2020.
