So I hope I'm not over-rating this fast food restaurant...and I don't usually rate them unless my experience was exceptional or I've never been to one. In this case, I've never been to a Fazoli's. Upon getting to the order counter, we were immediately told that they ran out of chicken. If ordered, there would be a wait as they were getting more...we were told 15 minutes. We decided the wait wasn't too bad. I ordered the Chicken Carbonara and took a table number and sat down...my friend was just behind me. After sitting, I noticed appx 10 other tables also with numbers...waiting...could we all have ordered chicken dishes? After us, several other tables joined the wait. 15, then 20, then 30 minutes go by...no food yet. Finally after 40 minutes, our food arrived. The worker was running her but off trying to get food out to patrons. My food was really tasty...my friend said the same...solid four stars for taste. This is a Coke place...hope that's your soda of choice. With the surge of orders being filled, so parallels the traffic trying to leave. This means the trash cans quickly filled up and you couldn't throw your trash away. Again, staff was working their butts off playing catch up. I liked my food and will eat at one of these chains again some day. read more

Fazolis has excellent food and excellent employees. It is my first go to when l am on that side of town. Their menu has a ton of meals to fit anybody. Make sure you try the strawberry cheesecake!! read more

The General manager, Emily Evers should do a better job of making sure her employees are actually working and not just standing around doing nothing. I love Fazoli's. Been eating there for over 15 years. Food is consistently good, and like Jeff A. below stated in his review, the toasted Submarino is AMAZING! I am not aware of them in Chicago proper, but they do have them in the Suburbs as well as my home territory in Central Illinois. This was my first time stopping at Oshkosh Fazoli's. The food was just as I had experienced at pretty much every other Fazoli's, it was hot, fast, and really reasonable. I got a pasta dish, slice of pizza and large drink for right at $8. Not to mention the breadstick boy constantly brings around fresh breadsticks to your hearts content. If you leave here hungry, no one else to blame but yourself. I will say the reason of only 3 stars, is that it was extremely noisy. It was like all the patrons had no care that they were impeding on other peoples dining experience. There was a couple who were clearly arguing for a continuous 10 minutes until they finally left. But the noise didn't stop there, several college kids sat down 2 tables beside me and had their phone blasted at full volume watching some kind of video on their phone. I glared a few times over there hoping to instill the fact that they were being annoying, but to no avail. Only the arrival of their food saved my sanity. I would give this Fazoli's 3.5 stars but like most everyone else says, there is no half star and it was not a 4 star experience. I will go there again and if it isn't as loud will adjust the rating. Normally I wouldn't write a nasty review about a restaurant I love but i'm fed up. I have a gluten allergy, so typically I get the gluten-friendly pasta. However, when I order through a separate delivery app, they don't have the option to select what kind of noodle you want. Previously, I made a quick phone call to the restaurant after placing my order and they made the change directly. Today, I called around 30 times and still haven't gotten a response! I tried the main line, and the curbside pickup line. It's been 30 minutes and I've had it. Luckily I was able to call my delivery driver and he will ask about making the change, but I am still very pissed off. It's a shame, I really like their pasta too... read more

I know it is fast food, but there still should be standards. Walking in there were greasy hand prints all over the glass doors. The man behind the cash register wearing a "general manager" shirt was too busy talking to an employee about their weekend to take our order. Finally, after their conversation he just looked at us and expected us to rattle off our order. I went to get silverware, and pulled out silverware that was obviously run through the dishwasher, but still had food stuck to it. After some digging I found what, hopefully, was a clean fork. The floor had food and crumbs all over. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. in general, the place needed some TLC. In general the food was your standard fast food. I had the parmesan chicken. It was fine. The side salad was very fresh, and was good. I love Fazoli's breadsticks. They are buttery, garlicky, and delicious!! My major problem with them is there drive thru. One of two things will probably happen here. 1. I will go inside to eat. 2. Totally stop going to THIS location. Why you may ask? Because they FREQUENTLY mess up your order. I could give several examples, but will give just the last. Simple order, baked spaghetti with meatballs added. Received baked spaghetti with no meatballs. Now give me a break, all they have to do is LOOK AT THE ORDER MONITOR. I will agree that the food is consistent and that is why I have been coming back. Didn't like it. Yup, it's "fast food" alright! I tried the large sampler plate. Sauce of your choice is dumped over the pasta of your choice. Voila! You now have lasagna, spaghetti with meat sauce, or other varieties. Cannot be compared to real, layered lasagna, for example. Also found it to be a bit too salty for my taste. In their favor, the breadsticks were great, but I think they need a menu to work with first. I didn't find anything that would give me a reason to return. You might like that kind of fare, but there are many other, better places to spend my money. This review is limited to the Fazoli's menu. No comment on the dining experience. read more

Went through drive through and I was the only car in line. Restaurant was not busy, it was a little after 7 p.m. on a Monday. I was asked to wait, took a few minutes before the woman came back. Ordered, got to the window and felt like I was interrupting her. Poor customer service. While waiting I noticed how grease encrusted their equipment is, the glass window.was filthy. We ordered a double size of pizza and 10 breadsticks. We waited for 25 mins while they talked and didn't care about are order we were in the drive-thru btw. Recently stopped at Fazollis after a few year absence from this pasta place. Upon walking into the entryway you are slapped with the smell of sewage. It reminded me of one of the things from the past I disliked years ago. It kind of takes your breath away. I ordered some pasta deal and a soda that ended up being $10.00 , two family members ordered a pizza. The pizza was not bad and priced fairly, the pasta dishes seem a bit high for what they are. Pasta is pretty cheap to make therefore it's got to be a profitable item for them. I'm thinking a return to the black foam plates and plastic cutlery as opposed to the glass and silverware would enable them to go back to their old pricing. It's still fast food, but prices are getting a bit high for what you get. read more

I hate to admit it, but I used to love this place, thinking it was just great. But as time goes on, my diet changed and exploring actual quality food joints opens your eyes. Service other than the male Manager (sorry don't know your name) the rest is low to average. Food, I stick with white sauce based dishes, the red sauce dishes are terrible and taste like a whole shaker of salt was added. Beyond inedible and heart attack inducing. Alfredo, and penne bakes with white sauce are the best. Mostly have a good flavor and cooked well. Prices are average, some things can be a bit higher. Pizza, not sure what it is about the Fazoli's pizza but the plain cheese is just amazing, no clue why I like it so much but i do. The red sauce on that doesn't have nearly as much salt to it either. Breadsticks. Hard to enjoy, either very bland, flavorless/dry or soaking/soggy and salty. Last but not least my biggest pet peeve, SEWAGE!. Yes..right out the front entrance there is a sewage storage or something, there is no seal. Smells like raw poop, urine outside. This also bleeds into the bathrooms slightly, which are old, dirty and rarely clean. Looks are deceiving and from the outside this place looks nice. The truth hides within. I'll stop by once in awhile for the pizza, but I think i'll do drive thru so I don't have to smell that nasty sewage. read more

If you want cheap Italian food, this is the place to go~ The food is really good and well priced, plus they make it rain with breadsticks. Brett, the manager, is incredibly nice and always remembers me and my sister when we come in (he even remembers our usual order). We used Fazoli's to cater our wedding. We wanted to have a nice dinner for our guests and were on a tight budget. Fazloi's delivered exactly what we were looking for. Brett, the GM, was very helpful and eager to help us out with whatever we needed. Before meeting with him, I created my own menu of how much to order. Brett told me I was going to order way too much, and he was right! After adjusting our order quantities, we saved about $120, and only had a little extra of each thing, not a ton of pans like we would have if we went with my order. He put happy customers ahead of company profits, which you don't see much. Brett even drove to our venue ahead of time just to ensure when he personally delivered the food he knew where he was going. The pasta is always tasty and the breadsticks are the best, unlimited too. They switched to regular plates and silverware in the last year which was one of my complaints. The service is pretty good. Sometimes we have to wait for breadsticks which is a little annoying when you're really hungry. Even when we go late at night the food is good. It's pretty clean but not the best that I've seen. And the service is OK too, no complaints. read more

I have been through the drive-thru three times - the first time was a nice treat on an evening when I had to go right back to work - They filled my need for something other than a burger. The second time, they were running a little slow, so the young lady at the window kept passing me fresh warm breadsticks and included extra in my bag. This last time, I again wanted nothing to do with the $9 burger meal down the street and Fazoli's had yet another special - Pizza Bake, with sausage, pepperoni, penne and a mix of marinera and pizza sauce...plus two breadsticks for $3.99...I took two and went home...I had four meals for less than that burger combo..Thank you! read more

Walking in the door it smells like a sewer, the bathrooms were really disgusting! They seemed like they haven't been cleaned in a long time! Prices seemed really high for what you get, it used to be cheap from what I remember. We could've honestly went to Olive Garden for the same price we payed there. As expected food. Pleasant young lady behind the counter took our order; she and another pleasant young lady brought our food to the table. Unlimited breadsticks (which the kids in the party liked). Restaurant area was clean and well kept. Bathrooms were neither clean, nor well kept (and appear to not have been maintained for a long time). read more
