Finally!! I've been waiting for one of these to come back around. I used to go when I was a kid, and it's nice to know that the atmosphere hasn't changed. I got what I used to get all the time, it's like a deluxe sampler. And honestly, it doesn't taste as great as I remember it, but fairly similar. It's been years since Fazoli's was in Central Florida, so of course it's not going to take exactly how I remember it. The price points are still more or less what it used to be. But honestly this is the best fast food Italian restaurant I've ever been to. I've been to others and other states during its absence, and this tastes about the same in regards to the overall franchise. I think this place is my go to pasta spot if I want something quick, cost effective, and craving classic pasta dishes. They have a drive thru which is awesome because where else can you get that?! In the early 2000s, the Fazoli's over by UCF was my go-to for cheap eats after long nights of...studying. They were a treat for me over my college apartment ramen dishes and cafeteria meals. The breadsticks were awesome, and everything tasted great to a UCF student who was...studying. After I graduated and moved away from UCF, Fazoli's disappeared. I can't tell you why because I don't know. They seemed like they were always busy. Anyway, flash forward to 2023, and Fazoli's has returned to Orlando in a location previously occupied by a Boston Market on Colonial/Bennett. Is this the same Fazoli's I remember from my college days or a different beast? Honestly, I can't tell because it's been almost 20 years, so this review is based on the new Fazoli's instead of a comparison between the old and the new. Ever since the new location opened, this place has been packed, inside and outside drive-thru. I actively avoided the opening because of the packed crowds (seriously, for fast Italian food? But I get it, nostalgia). I happened to drive by this evening and noticed the drive-thru wasn't as long as it was in the preceding days, so I checked out the 2023 version of Fazoli's. I can't tell you much about the interior because, from what I could tell from my car, all of the tables were occupied and I would've taken my order to-go anyway. The drive-thru was pretty slow, but I'm not knocking any stars off of that because that's to be expected for any new restaurant. The employees were friendly and even though there was a bit of wait for the drive-thru, that's to be expected. How does Fazoli's hold up in 2023? They're...ok. This isn't a review condemning them. They're good, but they're not great. I ordered the baked meatballs and spaghetti dish, and it was pretty good. The marinara sauce was a little too bitter for my taste, and the pasta was thinner and more akin to angel-hair than common spaghetti. The breadsticks are still good and beat the heck out of places like Olive Garden. So, why am I giving this a 3 star review? Yelp's definition of a 3-star review is "Ok" and that is exactly what Fazoli's is. It's fine. It's better than some local Italian restaurants but is still way below Orlando's finest Italian restaurants. If you're looking for Italian food after a long day of work, Fazoli's is a pretty good option if you're open to the wait times. The food is ok, but you can find better Italian at Italian restaurants if you call in a "to-go" order and pick it yourself. My suggestion is to wait a little longer for the crowds to die down a bit more to try the restaurant yourself. It's pretty good, not great, not bad. But seriously, don't forget to try the breadsticks. read more

We went since kids eat for $1 and change for Tuesdays. Good for a quick meal. Our cashier that took our order was so nice! Food came out quickly. The marinara sauce wasn't all that good but spaghetti noodles were cooked just fine and the Alfredo sauce was tasty too. The chicken had too much salt so it was tough to eat. Tried Fazoli's just to get a snack while we were out and about. Luckily there was no line and there's a drive thru which is nice and convenient. Service was friendly and we grabbed a strawberry lemon ice and order of breadsticks and moz sticks. The breadsticks were good! Hot, buttery and garlicky. The marinara sauce was perfectly fine. My wife got Alfredo sauce and hated it. It was a weird Alfredo. I enjoyed the lemon ice as well. For a quick stop the price and speed were right. read more

Fazoli's! I'm so happy you are back! I have very fond memories as a child of driving almost an hour to the dentist which was terrible but after the dentist we'd always go to Fazoli's for lunch! The unlimited breadsticks are such a happy memory of what otherwise was not a pleasant visit to the dentist. I checked out their newest location yesterday and it was just as I had remembered. I HAD to get the fettuccine Alfredo because thats pretty much what i always got a as a child. My BF got a salad that looked really yummy, it had breadstick croutons, pepperonis and breaded chicken on it. We also got breadsticks which were just lovely! We did the drive-thru but next time we'll definitely dine-in so I can have the full childhood experience with the basket of breadsticks coming around. (9/7/2023) I had moved out of the state when Fazoli's was in its heyday in Florida, so I do not have any nostalgia attached. This was my first time and at the urging of my "kids" (younger coworkers). This was the 2nd time they'd been there and the place had only been open 2 days. The Original Italian sub had a surprising heat from the giardiniera vegetables given this is fast food. The Pepperoni Pizza Breadsticks were missing the marinara in the order and that sauce was sorely missed, it would have vastly improved the breadsticks. I'd be willing to give it a dine-in try, but I'm not really lining up like others. read more

When I was a teenager I use to love eating at Fazoli's so I was heartbroken when they all closed. When I heard they opened a new location on East Colonial I had to check it out. It use to be the old Boston Market so they have plenty of seating. My mother and I went for lunch, we ordered 2 of the lunch specials. I ordered the Alfredo with Cheese Ravioli while she ordered Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Alfredo. The cashier was really nice and was happy to answer all our questions. The Alfredo was a little bland and would have preferred the sauce to be a little thicker. The meat sauce and spaghetti were pretty good. The ravioli was on the al dente side and was also bland. The breadsticks were the best part of the whole meal and were so good I could've ate a whole basket of them. For $6.99 you get a good amount of food and a drink. I'm rating this as fast food, so being a little softer. I hadn't been to Fazoli's since high school, so you can imagine my excitement when one opened down the road from me. After trying several times and leaving because, damn, this place gets packed. Yesterday, I was finally able to relive my nostalgia. First off, the restaurant was incredibly clean and the staff was ON POINT. Every worker was Johnny on the spot and beyond friendly. The line moved slowly as the kiosk to self-order was broken. After about 10 mins, I was able to order the Classic Sampler and added a side salad. The breadsticks still hold true! I'd say as good as Olive Gardens. For the sampler, everything was warm-ish. The lasagna was pretty good. The Alfredo was decent, not as good as a sit down restaurant, what do you expect? The spaghetti and meatballs was my fav and exactly as I remembered! Had an early dinner at the E Colonial Dr location. Everyone was so friendly snd welcoming. One girl held the door for us even though we were still a few yards away from it. She greeted us with a smile. We placed an order and the cashier Ashley was also cheerful, patient while doing her job. Even the Asian girl in the dining area was friendly. I had the pleasure of attending the community soft opening and I have been waiting for years for a Fazoli's to come back on this side of town. Immediately, the staff was so welcoming and interactive. They were kind, on top of a rush of guests, with great customer service. The food was fresh, delicious and tasted just like I remembered! We've tried to go to a few over the past couple of years but it just wasn't the same quality or service as it used to be. After Italio in Winter Park closed some years back, it felt like there was this void for fast-casual Italian dining in the area. Was really excited to have a drive thru Italian place near my house because I love pasta. I ended up waiting in line for 45 mins which is understandable since they just opened and it seems like everyone missed Fazoli's. I got the loaded fettuccine and 6 breadsticks, they gave me like 9 sticks which was nice. Unfortunately, everything was too salty to eat but I was hungry and ate as much as I could. Shortly afterwords, I had abdominal pains and extreme bloating where I got nauseous for hours. 5/5 on the customer service but 1/5 on the food. We arrived around 7:30 and started eating by about 7:40. The food was delicious! Was a bit skeptical of fast Italian food, but this made me a believer. One of the servers that brought our food (Anthony) made our night ten times better with the friendly service and laughs.
