I come here quite often but, with each passing visit, this mall seems more eclipsed by the newer places around the city. This is certainly the place to go if you need a department store and a wide variety of shops. However, the sprawling layout leaves something to be desired if you want to check out multiple places. I guess you could say there is such thing as too much of a good thing. There are almost too many shops here, which is both convenient for getting what you need but inconvenient for finding it very quickly. Newly renovated mall with great additions!! They always keep the mall very clean. They recently got rid of Sears and added in multiple stores and restaurants. All of the stores and restaurants they added have been great additions. I really like their pop up store that they change out regularly. read more

I really like Fayette Mall. It's just the right size and a good selection of stores. Parking is sometimes a bit crazy and Nicholasville Road is ALWAYS crazy, but I find the mall to be very easy to navigate and nothing seems "too far". I've been to some super big malls- King of Prussia in PA, Pentagon City in VA, Beverly Center in CA- they were too big. I didn't feel like visiting everything. In Fayette Mall, I feel more inclined to stop into more stores. The Macy's here is particularly nice. Definitely visit. I even came here in Black Friday and although it was hard to park, the mall was still nice to people watch and shop. There are some pretty unusual or local stores here, which is awesome to see compete with global/national chains like Apple or Macy's. read more

The mall has a little bit of everything in it. Must be the only Sears in the world that is situated in the middle of the mall causing you to walk-through in order to get to the rest of the mall. Pro-tip: If you need to use the restroom, go to Macy's. The ones in the mall leave a lot to be desired. Has a food court and lots of kiosks. read more

Most people either hate or love the mall. If you know what you and where to go you can get in and out. It's obviously crazy around the holidays and parking can be a pain, but it has a nice selection of stores. It's undergoing construction to add some New restaurants and several new stores with Sears going out of business there. It's adding a Cheesecake Factory which I can't wait for. Most of the stores run decent sales. It's big enough that people go and walk it for exercise too. There is a food court and a play are for kids. read more

I'm not a huge mall person but the Fayette mall has added stores and restaurants in the past few months that at usually at only the best and biggest malls. The food selection in and around the mall is very extensive. If you just want to kill some time or are looking for that special something I'm sure you probably may find it here. 1) Beware of the Mall restrooms , ALL of them . I have never seen them fully cleaned and smelling fresh . 2) Beware of the Mall Kiosk employees they will bother you every time you walk by trying to sell there products , very annoying !! 3) People in the mall walk slow as molasses read more

It's a mall full of all the stores you find in a Mall. Plenty of parking but I go there about twice a year to shop for Christmas and school clothes for my children. I find the same merchandise elsewhere much cheaper and without the hassle of traffic. read more

The only problem i have is with Pacsun the people who work there almost seem like they have no soul at all. They are rude and my friend was changing and my friend told them she was in there they opened the room anyway and saw she was changing then left and kept the door wide open. The clothes don't fit well enough for it too be as much money as it is and the service is once again terrible. very rude and overpriced. read more

I am not a fan of a lot of people in a small area. I do not take kindly to rude mall shoppers. I don't like being stuck behind a crowd of people walking 1 mph when I am in a hurry. If you see me here, it is only to get proactive for my partner or someone drug me here for something. It isn't voluntary by any means. I avoid this place like the plague. One of my favorite malls but geez folks, is house keeping in on the weekends? I know traffic is heavy today, but still. That's no excuse. As much as I have spent here today, we deserve a clean restroom. I love your selection and we found some nice deals today, just please remember the little things are important to the customer as well. I'm guessing that this mall was added on to at a later date because for the first time EVER, I had to walk through Sears to get from one side of the mall to the other! You can tell a distinct difference as well in the outside decor. Macy's has the old Shillito's look to it from the 70's, exactly the same as the Oxmoor Mall location in Louisville and then Dillard's is very pretty, lots of glass, and a more modern look on the other "new" side. I usually try to avoid Sears like the plague but alas, we had to walk through there to get to the other side. What's also funny is that the walk through is not a straight shot. You take a couple of turns before you see the tunnel of light! It is the craziest thing ever! We ate at PF Chang's which was very yummy. read more

I'm not from Lexington but I'm in town visiting often and I must say I really like this mall. It has a nice variety of places to shop and eat. I feel like there is something here for everyone. There are some areas that could probably use some cosmetic updates but I feel like they are in the process of updating things. The only downside I would say is how busy it always seems to be. Both in the mall and the surrounding area, the traffic can be a bit much depending on when you go so beware. read more

It's what you would expect of a mall. They are still improving by renovating and adding more brand variety. Nice to just kill time and window shop. Facilities are pretty clean and well kept. Plenty of parking area. read more

Not a bad mall for shopping. Kinda small to what I'm use too. But has most of the store that a bigger mall has. I haven't seen the bathrooms to see what everyone else is talking about, so I can't say much about that part. But over all it does have a few major retailers and other venders I've seen at many other malls. read more

The mall set up is fine. It's a growing mall with good stores in good locations. Not sure why some reviewers admit to hating crowds but then still do to a mall then complain about how many people are there. Pretty stupid, but anyway. My only complaint about this mall is a problem shoppers feel at every mall I'm sure. Being harassed by kiosk folks. You can't even stroll through the mall without being approached and nagged by these people. I would rate Fayette Mall much more highly if it was clean. I like to shop and my children enjoy the mall and the food court. But unless you go during the day in the middle of the week, it's so dirty it's an unpleasant chore to eat in the food court or use the mall restrooms with children. Who wants to sit at a grimy table or run around looking for things to clean it with yourself? They need to double up on cleaning teams in the bathrooms, the food court and all the areas where people congregate and smoke outdoors. It's repulsive to have to walk past 2,314 cigarette butts to go buy your child some jeans. read more

this review is specifically about the forever 21 inside of the fayette mall. ever since forver 21 started to carry plus size i've been a big fan and now i go in and realize that it is gone. they no longer carry plus size at forver 21 and replaced it with more clothes for smaller girls. read more
