This cute little place has top notch pizza for it being a small town! The pizza had the perfect crunch. The deep dish you can probably skip. It's nothing to write home about. The dough makes the pizza - and Faustino's dough is exquisite, an old family recipe - no doubt! The array of toppings was up to the imagination of the crowd, and we experienced every conceivable topping, all fresh and handmade! Yum Yum. One problem is that we have to travel from South Florida to Indiana for the best pizzas we have ever had, and we have had many! The ingredients are quality, their fried pickles and ranch are phenomenal. Unfortunately the pizzas must have been way over-cooked, the slices were sliding around in the box they were so crispy. Usually, pizza is still cheesy and will keep it together before taking it out of the box. The crust had a dramatically loud crunch, sometimes painful and the carmalized cheese overpowered the flavor of the pizza. I believe it would be amazing if only it wasn't over cooked. read more

Finally had the opportunity to try this pizza. We drove 2 hours from the north side of Chicago and it was well worth it. We had a spread of many different types and although I only eat pepperoni, everyone was complimenting all of them. The crust was just how I like it and the ingredients were a perfect balance. Recently got a chance to try this pizza (deep dish and thin crust) after hearing rave reviews from a friend, and I have to say that I am shocked at how much I enjoyed it. The pizza sauce is on the sweeter side, and it reminds me of another pizza place that I enjoyed eating at when I lived closer to the Chicagoland area. That place is not so close to me now, so this is my new go-to! Cheese was a good blend...very tasty. The only thing I did not care for was the deep dish crust...I did think it was a bit dry. read more

First time customer, well my experience was not good! I called in to place an order for pick up (curb side). I called them at the time of arrival to let them know I there, mind you they told me it would be ready at a certain time so I get there "on time" the girl coming out handing out the orders was giving everyone else their pizza that got there after I did and I still waited another 1/2 hour waiting and nothing, so I finally called her over and she said let me check on your pizza, she comes right out with it but guess what I got home and my pizza was cold and dry, looked like a frozen pizza! I live literally 5mins away. Called the manager and she was nice enough to compromise me with a free pizza. Well today we called in for our free pizza and they told us that we could not get the size we were promised because they lost the ticket and all of a sudden their manager was not in. Well after a few mins they called me back that they found my ticket "was given the run around for about 20 mins" another bad experience added to this place .. it's too bad cause their pizza was descent for what's around the area but because of the bad customer service I will take my business elsewhere! read more

Fabulous pizza and great service. We found Faustinos on Yelp while driving through the area. We didn't know that it was mostly carryout service, but there is nice seating on the terrace and outdoors. I want to start out by saying that the food was okay, but the service is not. I ordered a pizza, and picked it up. When I got it home, I opened the box and it wasn't even close to what I ordered. I called and they said "what do you want to do, bring it back, or get credit?". So I said "credit". First, they should have DELIVERED the correct pizza, but I let that go. My wife called yesterday and wanted to use our credit. Well, we were told "sorry, credit is only good for 1 week". Funny, they didn't mention that at the time. There are plenty of pizza places around here. I won't be going to Faustino's again. read more

Don't even think of using a coupon here. Each year we've tried to use one, there has been a hassle with the last time taking the cake. We called to order a small BBQ chicken pizza ($14!!!) and informed the person we were using the Entertainment coupon. Upon arrival, when I presented the coupon to the cashier, she turned to ask how to use the "50% off up to $5" coupon. An older woman grabbed the coupon and stated, "we quit taking the coupon but usually give a few bucks off". The cashier added "the order was for a small pizza". Then an older gentleman retorted, "well, give them a dollar off" versus the stated $5 off. I informed him that he just bought himself a pizza; that instead of making a $9 sale, he just lost my business permanently and left. I will NEVER be back. read more

Great deep dish pizza. Crust is a little hard on bottom but it makes it so you can pick it up and eat it.
