It appears it may be under new ownership but not sure. Paid $11.50 for 2 Chicago style hot dogs. It was called a meal deal but did not come with fries or a drink. The bun had obviously been on the steamer for too long as when it cooled off it was stale and the hot dogs had been soaking in the water for a long time and were tasteless. They did have everything on them that makes them Chicago stye but that was all that was good about them. Stop reading the reviews and go try this place yourself, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED! This place is probably my favorite restaurant to get a quick bite! Hot dogs are amazing, fries are perfectly crispy, don't get me started on their fried pickles. Nothing had disappointed me yet at this place. Staff is so friendly, cooks are QUICK! Get a order right maybe 1 out of 4 times. Order a gyro platter and a beef sandwich. No aus ju and no tezeki sauce when we got home. even when they specifically ask when making the order if you want this sauce and you say yes. I don't know if it's my fault if I should check the bag before I leave every time ‍ but you shouldn't have to. We have checked the bag before and had to ask them can we get what we ordered. I would've quit coming there years ago but there's no other options in Lowell. Great town but the food options here are awful. Half the town is on my banned list to eat and Dickey dogs just joined it. read more

This is an update to my original 5-star review. Sadly, as most places do, as they grow and expand the quality and customer services tend to go down a little. Every place will have an off day and I take that into consideration. Every time I have visited over the last two months the food quality is low, the service is spotty, and my order is always wrong. I really used to like this place, I need to find a new fast food place as I won't be coming back here often. read more

Dickys Dogs has been on my husbands list of things to do for some time now. We were disappointed the Valparaiso location has closed. We went out of our way to go to the other location, it was a bit of a disappointment. Staff were arguing back and forth and the dining room was too warm. Food was good. Just not at all what we expected. We wanted two separate meals and an additional hot dog but apparently hot dogs can't be ordered ala carte? No idea why. read more

I've placed 2 orders @ Dicky's Dogs & probably won't place another.... sadly. Each time I have ordered the same thing... Chicago style hotdog, fries and an onion ring. For some reason the fries are always undercooked & the onion rings were overcooked and so hard. It's as though the items are cooked in "old" oil. For $12... I expect better. I have placed these orders for a homebound patient I take care if... guess I will need to head out to Portillo's next time. read more

I came in for a carry out order. Very nice building and decor. I like the people that run it. The food was delicious. And they also have a great looking ice cream shop, which I will try out next. Don't forget to get a slice of cake for dessert. Absolutely loved it all! read more

One of us had the Dickey Burger, it wasn't bad....I had the Ribeye, and it was a bit tuff, and flavor was just ok, I wouldn't try it again, next time if we go we will try the Hot Dogs. I must say the Fries were really good, nothing great....we might give it a second chance. read more

I stopped by Dicky's Dogs this past weekend. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a pita and a steak taco. The order came out fast and hot! I highly recommend people stop by and get the grilled chicken on a pita. Also, those seasoned fries they have are excellent. read more
