If you are looking for a landscape company I highly suggest not going with Faust Landscaping. We hired them for our backyard project spending over 35 thousand dollars only to have issues non stop after they finished the project and us constantly telling them there were issues. Drip line irrigation was left open so it constantly flooded the side house and plants. I have three dead plants and one tree starting to die. The walk way constantly floods and holds water, the area they trenched has a sinkhole that is covered with river rock but you can feel and see the ground indent, some grass that has been over saturated with water from their water irrigation, spent over 5 grand on a kool deck spray that is starting to peel off the concrete patio already (likely because they didn't seal it) and it's only been 4 weeks. Oh and can't forget flower beds that flood when it rains. We reached out to the owner Michael Faust several times and got a sideline response of they are busy we will have someone come out and look, but never bring materials to fix the issues. Finally after my husband texted the owner Micheal Faust he said we can come out and quote you for drainage on the flood area of the walkway. Let's also not forget that after the project was completed, and attempts to get them back out are met with we will have somebody out this day, and it never happens. Today they should've been out to swap out a light that doesn't match the rest of the lights, and no one showed. This light should have been put in place before they finished the work 4 weeks ago. I guess this is what happens when one of their employees separates the wife from the husband and assaults her in their backyard while their daughter is less than 5 ft away and witnessed the beginning of the assault. We called the police to report and to press charges against the employee only to find out from the Montgomery Sheriff detective that the owner Michael Faust is not helping them and will not give them the employee (Carlos') information. In the end the owner eventually suffers with the same company trying to get more money from the project to fix their screw ups. read more

I cannot recommend Faust Landscaping for multiple reasons: 1) Communication. Michael Faust does not like to respond when there is a problem. My wife contacted him on multiple occasions and he ignored her. It wasn't until I contacted him that "suddenly" he decides to respond. 2) Craftsmanship. While Michael talks a good game, his Craftsmanship is VERY shoddy. We hired him to place turf and they failed to add a weed barrier as required. He was supposed to construct an enclosure for our pool equipment and it started degrading quickly. The garden beds that were supposed to be accented had the stone borders run over by his lawn crew, pushing them further and deeper into the ground. Now, they don't accent anything. They also messed up our sprinkler system, trying to add sprinklers in ridiculous areas, not understanding how water works, or limitations on sprinkler systems. 3) Follow-through. We hired Faust to maintain the tens of thousands of dollars we invested in our yard, only to have it look like it was done by a child. The garden borders are horrible, the stone work was done less than professional, and as mentioned, the lawn crew maintenance was horrible. His crew would show up late, use our own stuff, would ignore my wife when she'd try to talk to them, and would leave a mess. Plus, they cut our grass and accent bushes so low, it all started dying in multiple areas. And still is! The biggest problem though is Michael himself. He's not vested in the business. Like most kids his age, he's about a quick buck and not the long term customer investment. He would always mention he had another side business he was working on and leave his subordinates "in charge." His trucks were always breaking down or involved in some kind of traffic accident, which is why they weren't always showing up, according to him. His crew broke our stuff, damaged all the work we had done, while Michael went to the bank happily with our money. Do not trust Faust for your lawn, your garden, or your home. Absolutely delighted with the work these guys did in our backyard. They replaced our tired looking pool deck with a modern and clean looking space. Getting good contractors is the most challenging aspect of any project. They'll promise you they can do all kinds but seldom deliver. Not Mike Faust and his team! What kind of thievery of land is this? Ponzi scheme here? Heritage ...Your credit manager Natasha said your vendor is paying in advance now. Great communication. Michael listen to what was my drainage is and offer the solution to my issue as well as an alternative solution. I was ale to make an educated decision. He provided a proposal and allow me to make the final decision with all the background he provided. When he came over to do the job he introduced me to his lead guy for the day as well as verbally went over the details and what was to be expected. At the end of the day his lead guy walked me through the job to insure i had no questions and I was satisfied with the work. They did a good job cleaning up behind themselves removing all the debris. They were good at the start, but terrible with maintenance. They said they would trim bushes, use weed killer, and make it look the way it was when they planted everything. They basically came out and mowed the lawn too short everytime, didn't use weed killer, doesn't trim the bushes, and cleaned some areas of leaves but mostly just blew them into a pile claiming they were doing a thorough job. Called the owner, sent pictures and even had him come to the house to see for himself. He agreed they weren't doing what they were supposed to do. The owner kept promising he would make things right, but never did even after months of stating the same issues, and him always saying they will make it right. Michael, the owner, came and spoke with me about what needed to be done. He said he'd send someone out. After numerous requests to be put on the schedule, I was always given an excuse or they'd schedule and never show up with some lame excuse. After texting with Maria, I found out he wanted more money and she emailed another quote for $1504.68, for HEDGES!!!
