Southern Lawns (specifically John) accepted our money and never delivered the promised service. Instead, John gave my wife and I repeated excuses and constantly changed service dates. Despite numerous verbal confirmations and text messages requesting a refund, John continued to delay and make excuses. After reading other reviews, it appears at least two other customers have experienced the same behavior which suggests a troubling pattern rather than an isolated incident. For this project, I aerated and dethatched part of my front yard and it was in need of a good base layer for the soil to recover; in addition to, landscaping a front patio area. I ordered 1 1/2 Cubic Yard Leaf Mold Compost, 1/2 Yard of Landscaper mix, a few Black-eyed Susan, a Mexican Sage bush and some other pollinators. Due to the time saved from gathering all my materials from this one location saved me $$$ and I was able to complete the project in a weekend. If your need is not as expansive they offer bagged soil for smaller needs, but to get the best value I would partner with a fellow DIYers with pickup trucks and order loose materials or have it delivered on site. Nature's Way Resources also have a big selection of mulch, compost, fertilizers and offer a Green Waste Recycling program.
