Do not use this company unless you want to be completely ripped off. Quoted $75 for one sprinkler head repair and $450 for a valve repair. Both can be purchased from Home Depot for under $30. Also very rude on the phone once I questioned the quote and hung up on me. read more

Hired to clean up overgrown landscaping at my mom's house. Ripped out a gorgeous 18 year old fabulous plant that I specifically pointed at wanting to keep. Replaced it with a much smaller different plant that is already dying 2 months in. Also broke a statue in the garden that my mom loved. Boone came out to give me a quote on a front yard planter. He really listened, answered all my questions and then created a design on the spot that integrated well with existing planters and at a fair price. He and his crew are amazing! They are efficient and obviously experts at their craft. Start to finish, it was under 4 hours and it looks so much better than I dreamed. Boone made a beautiful design for our backyard. He expanded our patio area with flagstone and crushed granite and made a spectacular walkway out to our gorgeous Boulder fire pit. Boone's Landscaping did an excellent job on my landscape. My neighbors recently did their landscape also and tried to convince me to use their landscapers. I trusted Boone's and liked his vision. Needless to say, my landscape looks far more professional, and my neighbors landscapes are dying from improper drainage and lack of soil. They can't get their landscaper back on the phone. My review does not involve landscaping services, per se...I was driving past one of their crews and a rock was kicked up into the back window of my minivan. I pulled over, approached their foreman (I believe his name is Jay), and explained what happened. He was extremely apologetic, kind, and very professional. He apologized multiple times, and not only for the damage, but for the inconvenience and for the scare it gave me as well. He immediately called their office. He then promptly gathered my name and information, and sent it over to the office along with pictures of the damage. I left there with the name, office phone number, and personal number for Mr. Trammel. I called Mr. Trammel and he too was the epitome of customer service. He was very apologetic, professional, and seemed like he truly cared about getting the situation rectified quickly. He assured me that by the following morning he would call me with all the information needed to get the window fixed. BUT within three hours of the incident, and on the same day, the office sent me the information needed for the window replacement. They had already paid for the window and they selected a company that would come to me. I can not express enough how refreshing it was to experience such wonderful customer service. I especially appreciated the sense of urgency I felt they had, even though I am sure they had much more important and pressing matters in which to attend. They made me feel like my happiness was truly a priority for them. And if that is how they treat someone who cost them money...I can not imagine how well they treat the paying customers. read more

I would not recommend this contractor. Required way too much oversight and too many redos of poor quality work that was typically rushed with many shortcuts taken. Asked for help with repairs of year old work and Boone was unresponsive. Look elsewhere! read more

Minus one star. These folks are totally unreliable about showing up at the time agreed upon or even within 45 minutes of it -- or at all. I work downtown; arranged to work from home on day of appointment, scheduled conf calls around it. Person to provide a bid showed up 2 hours before the appt, right as conf call starting. Refused to come back (he had finished up his earlier job early). Called the office to reschedule- told them of issues. They guaranteed they'd have him back out today when I again arranged to be home at 9 a.m. 9:45 no show. Called the office. They said that they didn't get around to calling me to say that they would not be coming out since they had so many jobs booked up. Never, never, never will I use this company. read more

Terrible experience. Paid them $7,000 for landscaping and irrigation and it was very poor work. I had to pay an irrigation company another $300 to correct the work they did on my irrigation. I would never recommend this company! read more

I had Boone come out to talk about removing some trees and doing a landscape makeover. He was prompt, took his time, and then described his vision to me. The plan he had developed sounded perfect, so I said let's move forward! Boone and his team showed up the day he promised. I was at work, and by the time I came home, my landscaping was finished and the end result was even better than I had hoped for! I couldn't believe the amount of work they accomplished in a day, and it was very well done. Absolutely beautiful - my neighbors are all jealous! His office has contacted me several times to make sure everything is okay and to my satisfaction, which is greatly appreciated. Really impressive work! I got a phone call from the office a couple days before to let me know they would be arriving on the day scheduled. I took the weekend off to watch their work, and I was blown away. They were here right at 7 am, and the owner came to talk to me to confirm the plans again and his workers got straight to it. I had two sections of rock walls put in, a couple flower beds with those walls, and the irrigation to keep them watered. They were efficient, they cleaned out all the old plants and mulch, turned the soil, and put in nutrients with the plants they added. The rock wall was amazing, I read a previous review about their rock wall being done and it's 100% true, extremely detailed, and they walked on it every level to check for durability! The walls are still holding up nice and strong even through the rain these weeks. Solid. For the irrigation they added a whole two zones, and had the pipe done in no time so my yard and and flowers could get watered the same day. I even had them tweak a few of my sprinklers that wouldn't open up, and they did it for with no problem! Thanks again for your hard work guys!!! A+! read more

I have used Boone's for the past 2 years. Since the turnover in help is great, sometimes the work is NOT great. The workers will forget to blow off our patio, or the driveway and street. During the winter we only have them come out every two weeks. For the spring application of fertilizer and weed killer the young Hispanic man RAN through the yard. He did the whole yard in less then 2 minutes. The dollar weed flourished. I was very unhappy. Also, where the trailer was parked in the street they had dropped off quite a bit of rocks, which my husband swept up. They left our gate open and the dog got out when we got home. I feel like this could be a good company if they paid the workers a better wage so they stayed! The worst thing the company did is the last thing. As I said, we get mowed every two weeks. After two weeks in the spring, our grass is quite tall. Especially in the back yard. We get mowed on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went, no mowers. Thursday , no mowers. Thursday evening at around 3PM I called. No answer, which is not unusual since they don't answer phones a lot. So I sent an email. Friday morning, two weeks and two days since my last mowing, I called. A woman whom I did not know, answered the phone. When I told her I had not been mowed she replied, " Oh, we're not dong your yard any longer since you are the only yard we do in your area." I told her it would have been appreciated if she had called me and told me that! She said, " I sent you an email." No email was received, so she apparently lied about that. I would NOT recommend this company since to me, they have some help problems. Since the help is the heart of this business, it would make sense to me to get good help, not just someone that can push a lawnmower. read more
