Explained ability to repair, & was most efficient getting the job done. Showed me defective parts with the unexpected repair, & fulfilled the job despite not having been part of the original request. Upon completion, showed me everything done, explaining consideration where parts were worn, but not requiring replacement. Totally positive experience. John advised on future projects, admitting when he was unable to provide a definitive answer. Have yet to receive my invoice, so can't comment on value, (hence the "4") but including an unexpected repair, I'll be surprised if the cost remains within the estimate. Our project was fairly simple. Swap out an old toilet, and kitchen faucet, for the new ones we already had. Faust Co. came up as one of the plumbers to get a quote through Yelp. The following might sound odd to some, but I thought it was way cool. All of the communication with Bryan was through Yelp messaging. No phone calls. No playing phone tag. No waiting for a call back. No leaving a message with someone who might, or might not, relay it correctly, if passed along at all. We were able to get things rolling, at each others' own paces, with timely replies, and without undue interruptions. Very smooth, and awesomely convenient! There was one phone call, from John, when he was about 15 min. from arrival. We showed him where things were, and told him to yell if he needed anything, including assistance. Then we got busy with Zoom meetings, and other stuff. It seemed like it was just a few minutes later when John announced he was all done, and Bryan would email the bill. The old toilet and faucet were gone. The new ones were in place. John had cleaned up everything so well it was as if he'd never been here. I located Faust Plumbing Co. on the BBB website and decided to contract them to do some new plumbing for a non-existent bathroom upstairs. After having received quotes from two other establishments, what sold us with Faust was the immediate knowledge Bryan had when he came to the house. Even though our previous plumber did not do the work up to code for our downstairs laundry room, Bryan had solutions to the problem. For weeks I had sent emails with questions and drawings, since I have a need-to-know on how things will be installed. What a patient, professional man he was. My work was scheduled for a Monday, but on the previous Friday, he emailed me to ask if it was OK to reschedule, since they  backed up a bit, one guy had to go to a funeral and two others were stuck trying to wrap up a pretty big project that got delayed a bit.  Since I was in the trades for twenty years, I completely understood how things go, so of course we said yes. Most clients would have got upset, but until you spend time on job-sites, it is hard to comprehend. During all of this, I made the mistake of presuming Bryan was the one coming out to do the plumbing. That is why I try not to presume, and I never asked. One of his employees, Mark showed up on time and had great solutions, to a complex plumbing job. What a joy to work with, if you don't mind him talking to himself the whole day. I was used to it, since I do it frequently, but he takes the cake! He nearly finished the job on the first day, but since I had to complete some additional installation of some walls, they decided to come back on the same day my roof was replaced. This way, he could cut the new vent pipe into the roof, and the roofers could seal it properly. The roofing company was to remove my fake chimney, and install a B-vent, however, things did not go as planned, as things usually are in life. We had to call a heating/cooling contractor for ideas on how to pipe the B-vent in. I called Bryan, and to my appreciation, he had Mark come back right away. This way the roof could be completed. Not sure, but it is likely another job was delayed, because they were able to fit us in. In the end, I would recommend Faust Co. to any family member or friend, and that says a lot for me. I am a person that has high expectations, but also willing to pay for great service. They are full of character and integrity. I plan on calling them in a few months to have two zone regulators and pressure valve replaced. read more

I contacted Faust Plumbing since September 13th trying to book a plumber. I kept getting the run around whereas the plumber had already did a previous job and the company was aware of the next request. Jodi finally booked the appointment after 45 days. I asked normal customer service inquiry to check out the person coming credentials. I asked Jodi for the name of the plumber, she responded Mark. I asked for the full name. Like pulling teeth. Finally after so many lengthy minutes and my time she finally gives the last name. I asked for the plumbers plumbing license. She then provided the vehicle license, only after notifying her that there was no such Dept of Professional credentials with 4 digits. I had to wait several hours to get a response back. I had asked would the plumber sent to the home be driving a company vehicle. Late response, multiple response requests that is not transparent customer service. Eventually, after hours passed I cancelled. The plumber still showed the next day. Bryan Faust should have discussed with Jodi her reluctance to be transparent, rather he responded I quote that I know how there company looks and discounted me like throw away trash. One unprofessional communication came from the plumber stating that he didn't want to ever come back to that"lady" house. Sounds prejudiced as I paid with no incident the first time. I am "not" recommending this company, due to the fact that everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable with a stranger coming to their house. This was POOR, SLOW, UNPROFESSIONAL and UNEXPLAINED, AND BIZARRE TREATMENT and places anyone in an unsafe circumstances. read more

We're very happy with the results and it's wonderful to have a regular hot water flow in our bathroom again; taking a shower is no longer an ordeal, fiddling with the hot and cold faucets to get the right mix. I entered in a message on Yelp about needing a leaking pipe fixed, at a very early hour in the morning and the owner got back to me quickly and was the first to respond. He answered my question and gave me a quote about what it would cost to fix it. There was an open spot for the next business day as well. The plumber that came out, Nick, he was thorough and was able to complete the job in a reasonable amount of time as well as give me advice about things i should look at with other plumbing. I was in a tight spot with our bathtub not draining. I tried to unclog it myself but nothing worked. I did a search and came across Faust Co. The reviews were good so I sent a request for a quote last night. Before they even opened I received a response back from Bryan with a quote. I know anything with plumbing is not cheap but there is a reason for that. Bryan's quote was very reasonable and not sky high like some of the other companies. Unfortunately, Bryan said they were booked till Wednesday but he would see if he could get a tech to stop by today. Just like that he found someone that could stop by between 11am-1pm. The tech ended up showing up by 10:30am which was great. I am bad with names and forgot the techs name. He was friendly, professional and shared his thoughts on all of my questions. The clog turned out to be in a couple areas but he got the job done within 20 minutes or so. He cleaned up everything afterwards. If you ever need a plumber I highly recommend Faust for all of your needs. Very honest and upfront along with going the extra mile to help out their customers. First, I called to fix a toilet issue, was told the toilet couldn't be fixed and that I needed a new toilet. Paid for a new toilet to be installed and the new toilet doesn't work/flush. I called for a solution or fix and was told that they would look at it but I would be charged again. Second, was charged over $300 for an easy 20 minute job to install a new $40 shower cartridge.
