We were in Roermond for shopping, but decided to visit Roermond, too, once we were already there.
Walking near the market we found this charming restaurant near a pretty little bridge.
It was crowded, but not uncomfortable. The waiters seemed to take food from the kitchen every minute. Even though, of course, I could not taste everything, these dishes that walked past me looked extremely appetizing.
In the end I had a steak, which was served perfectly medium with a salad and french fries. The french fries had a spice, I'm not sure whether it was rosemary or thyme or something else (it's been already a week since I've been there), but it gave them a little twist, and I liked it a lot.
A waiter was not the friendliest at first, but I'm sure this is a part of the atmosphere, which can't be described other than enjoyable.
I would recommend it and go there again, too. read more
