Bakkerij Souren produces several flavors of high quality pies.This bakery is famous for their Dutch traditional pies. I have tried a few vlaai pies at different cafes and bakeries, but so far this bakery is leading for the best taste. Now you know where you can buy groceries without having to lug around a bunch of Euro bills and coins (assuming you don't have a German debit card of some sort). This Rewe location is smaller than others, but it is stocked with pretty much all the basic items needed for meals and household goods. It's open until 10pm every day except Sunday, and very close to several of the Karin's Guesthouses for those of you in temporary housing. Also, there is a parking lot out front, and it's free. English speaking employees are a hit or miss here, but most of the items and checkout processes are pretty self explanatory. Just grab your Google Translator app for the less straight forward products, and you'll be set.

One of the things I love about this location is the huge variety of jam. I can always find something I've never tried before, even if it's a new brand.
